I got 2 calls from this number about an hour ago. I called back but no answer.  The ring back was in 2's.   ##  ##  ## etc.

I got a call 05/06/2013  from 336-474-8988  they left a message could not understand what the person said so I called back and it tells me the number is not a working number.  I am on the national do not call list for telemarketing and scam company will you please stop calling me.... Thank You

I've been getting calls from this number for about 3 months. Didn't know who they were until I checked this website. The name is:

When I found their web page, I clicked on a FB link & promptly left a negative message on the wall page about receiving unsolicited calls from them. It was removed with in ~ 1 hour! I was going to suggest that those interested, do the same. However, I feel the messages will all be removed. They don't want anything negative on their page! BUT you can contact them directly at: info@assuregrp.com. Website is: www.assuregrp.com. President's name is Edward Schackelford. Bombard them! FCC won't even take a complaint unless you actually TALK to them (or any telemarketer) to find out exactly what they are selling. So it would seem that you might have to listen to a sales pitch before you can file a complaint & something get done.
Please let them know you don't want to be bothered with their marketing calls!! I AM on the NDNC list by the way & have been for years.

Oh by the way....Daniel J, who in his post below and then again & again, but first time is back in JUNE of 2011   -  goes on to tell you that these are NICE Scammers,  And then goes on to say, in the SCAMMERS defense, that they appear to have a problem with their automated dialing system and they just don't know it.  Oh, BOO-HOO, poor little Scammers!

Well it is now   8 MONTHS  later and they must STILL have that same pesky little problem with their ILLEGAL Auto Dialer, huh????

I was getting calls from this number and a few others.  I would answer the call and could hear people laughing in the background and either a male or female talking.  I simply answered the phone (of this number that kept on calling me) and blew a whistle in the phone's mouth piece.  No calls after that.  If I am driving, then I turn up the radio and put the mouth piece next to the speaker.

I was a victim of harrassing phone calls on my cell from 336-474-8988. After contacting my wireless carrier (T-Mobile), then the phone carrier in North Carolina for this number (North State Communications) who said they knew who the customer was but could not release any information whatsoever, I then found your site.  I called Assurance Insurance in Thomasville, NC. and spoke directly with Heather Robinson.  I advised that I had filed a complaint with my wireless carrier, had made contact with their phone carrier in NC, and my next step was the FCC.  Heather Robinson took my name and cell number and assured me that my number would be removed from their telemarketing list within 30 days.  I appreciate finding your site online.  Hopefully, the problem is addressed.

I have reported this number several times already, they don't leave a message and every time I call back, no answer, just rings, and rings forever. This people need to leave us alone.

I keep getting calls from this number 336-474-8988, tried to return the call several times and it just rings forever..........................no one has ever answered, I even went and left it off the hung ringing for 15 minutes and no one answered. I have been been put on the do not call list and it seems like I have gotten more of these pain in the a** calls since.

Received a voice mail "message" from this number, 336-474-898, on December 27, 2011, that was apparently an accidental "pocket dial" because all I can hear in my message (and I can hear very clearly) is a woman talking in a thick Southern accent about everyone putting in $5 on a weight loss game/contest and the winner taking the pot. She goes on to explain to the group (and I can hear the group talking and laughing) that the one who loses the biggest percentage of body weight by January 9 wins. This goes on for a minute and a half before the call is disconnected! The most curious part....why is MY phone number in this woman's cell? Annoying.

Live in PA and received a call from this # on my cell phone. Tried calling back, but no answer. Tried to block call through my phone, but said it wasn't able to block #.

I too have been getting repeated calls from these Assurance Insurance A holes, Today was the last straw. I told the caller a male that I was getting tired of their dailly calls. I was mad and called him some unflattering names. I told them if they called one more time I  would report them to the Kansas Attorney General's office. He finally got a word in edge wise saying it takes 30 days to get my number off of their automated calling. I ask him what number he was calling and he told me. It was my cell phone, I told him one more call and his company would be reported.I hope this works because if it doesn't they will be reported.MAD AS HELL IN KANSAS

call 336-474-2333. the calls are coming from the Assurance Group's call center. if you call this number they will transfer you to the call center and they will remove you.
these are actually nice people doing what they are told.

The Company is Assurance Insurance Group located in Thomasville, NC. There number is 336-474-2333. Call and ask for "Heather", or just ask for whoever can get your number removed from their system. Ask to have your number removed. She was very nice about it and apologized more than once.

Betty apparently doesn't work there anymore, but I just called the number and Heather was very nice and apologetic and said they would remove my number right away...crossing my fingers!!!  One down, 5000 to go!!!

Received a call from this number.  I called the number back but no one answers.  First call but can't seem to find out any info except some number in NC.

I am freaquently getting these calls and they are a nuisance. I am a full time student and am working full time. I don not have time throughout my day to stop and answer these calls, or call back.

Calls are coming on my cellphone and when I answer no one is there...this is costing you money!

I have gotten 7 calls from this number in the past week.  No one responds when I answer the phone, and they do not leave a message.  The calls come in on my work-issued cell phone, which I do not give out my number for (I only receive phone calls from clients and contacts on it - no outgoing calls).

yes keep calling and no one answers and cannot call them back ie rings no answer.  really.  Verizon needs to do something.  There response I could get a new phone number.  wow
