First off, I would like to apologize to anyone I ever harassed as a part of doing my job there. As a telemarketer, you have to be somewhat aggressive, but in this room (BIT) they tell you to basically be an a***ole to the people you call. Now, if I call you and you won't give me the info I need, I am to pester you until you give it to me. If you aren't interested? Well I should call back in a weeks time to see if your mind has changed. This was the worst job I ever had.  In a day of calling people from 8:30-5:30 everyday I barely saw 5 TO's (turnover calls; when the owner shows an interest and I pass the info along to my supervisor to set the appointment) where as in any other operation I would have seen at least 3 times that many. I also would advise people to stay far away from this place. My boss informed me that this business wasn't even about 'security' it was about money.. thats right. its a front for the bank. Thats why a $2,000 security system runs damn near 15 grand. My advice, if someone calls, pretend to be the owner and just say you already have the system and you love it. If they ask for a referral, make one up or tell them politely that you cannot think of anyone. People will do what they have to, in order to collect their paycheck. So don't make it hard on them. But again, I'm sorry for anyone I harassed.

PS if you are of foreign descent; I apologize in advance for their lack of respect. VERY racist company. Loves to refer to foreigners as 'red-dots'... a term none of them would use to a persons face.

This company is legit, but they are mega aggressive and outrageously expensive.  They try to setup a no obligation installation with the understanding that you can return the equipment within 30 days without paying anything.  They bank that once you get the installation done you won't go through the hassle of returning it.  Their basic 3 camera system is an outrageous 13,000 dollars!!!

Well I'm glad I found this website. I've been trying to figure out who these people are.  My boss owns several different companies, with the headquarters all housed in the same office building.  They called for one of the companies and asked for him by name...told the caller he wasn't in and asked to take a message. The caller left his name and number and still called back 5 TIMES in the same day, after I told them he wouldn't be in all day!!!! Our owner finally called them back, just to get them off our back, and now they have started calling another of our businesses. Have already called 4 times today!
Your NOT going to get through...

OMG.  Speak Teleservice. Same old song and dance....Caller asks for the owner by nickname....then asks for his cellphone "again" (as if they had it a first time), then do not leave a message when asked to do so.  I eventually started hanging up on her after she called 6 times in one day.  She had the nerve to call me back and tell me I was rude.  LOL!  Really?

Please stop calling our number-We are not interested in the service. It is getting quite annoying in between 3-5 calls a day.

OK, that was too easy.  A young gal has called a few times from this number asking for our CEO.   Our CEO really isn't involved in the day-to-day operations of our large business and doesn't get involved in sales or purchasing.  Today I asked the young lady what her call was concerning and she said that her company meets with business owners to do demos of web-based cameras.  I told her that we are an incorporated business and that we are "owned" by Xerox (true).  She asked where Xerox was located and I told her that their corporate office is in Connecticut.  She clarified that we are an incorporated business and and told her again, that yes we are.  She apologized for calling us, said "Have a nice day" and hung up.

We'll see if she calls back.  Ooohhh, I wonder if it was Amber??  I should have asked her name!  LOL

However, I've learned one important thing over the years that seems to help when dealing with most telemarketers:  If you tell them you're an incorporated business, they tend to leave you along.  I'm not sure why (too much red tape??) but it works much of the time.

Amber, do you realize that as the receptionist for a LARGE company, I get many, many telemarketing phone calls a day.  So, while your ONE call (meaning the first time you called today) may not be bad, you then continue to call and call, adding to the volume of irritating calls we have to deal with on a daily basis.  And each of those calls interrupts our legitimate business - when I have a telemarketer on the line, a customer is being blocked from getting through and the call is interrupting the work I'm trying to do at my desk (I don't just answer phones).

Think about the effect that your ONE call is having on the business you're calling.

Ahhhhhhh NOW you're showing your true colors!  You stated in another post that not all of the BIT employees are rude and held yourself up as a shining example. Well, dear, you are proving yourself to be just as rude and annoying as the next schlep with each reply you post.

Also, each of your posts tells us all a little bit more about you.  One thing is painfully clear - you are uneducated (based on your lousy spelling and grammar) and, therefore, unable to find a more respectable job with which to support yourself. You also have poor judgement and make incorrect assumptions about other people on this message board.  You make snide comments about folks being on the internet during the day when they simply could have been taking your harrassing telephone call.  However, you have no idea who is on their break, their lunch, off for the day or not even at work yet for the day (not EVERYONE works 9-5).

I suggest you take all this energy you've been putting into dead-end jobs and apply it to something much more useful, such as an education which may then lead to an career.  Just because YOU have no viable skills other than to allow a machine to make your phone calls and read from a script doesn't mean the rest of us don't have a more fulfilling job and life.

We keep getting calls daily and are not interested, yet this company, Katrina, keeps calling. When we explained to her we were not interested she proceeded to get short with us. Not very professional and a pain when we are trying to receive calls from actual clients!

Just got a call from this number.  John Terry was the caller's name.  He asked for the owner.
When I asked his name and what he was calling about he said, "Just go get him and put him on the phone!"
Very rude, no chance of a sale here.  Too bad because we were going to purchase.  We ended up buying the security cameras from another vendor.

I've received multiple calls from this number over the last few days. Luckily I was away for the first few and they went to voicemail (long messages of silence).  After checking on the number here, I've let the rest of the calls also go to voicemail.  Hopefully they'll give up soon.

Numerous calls from BIT today. Tell them you will listen to them but they must listen to you about Jesus first. Also, When I get caught up at work, I just start dialing their # and ask for the owner.

They have called our business 5 times today. The guy tries to crack jokes to make you think he knows the owner. Won't leave a message. I've been nice all day, but now that I see what it's all about, they better be ready when they make the 6th call!

This number is for a security/servielance company.  They are very pushy and no matter how many times you tell them that you are not interested in their products and services, they just keep on calling back.  They always want to speak to the "owner," acting as though they know him/her personally (and obviously, they do not) and will never leave a message.  Annoying!!

We are one of those companies that fell for their sales pitch!!!  Although it was expensive, It looked great on the surface so we went with it.   But after having a 16 camera system for less than a year it started going bad. Every camera went out. By the time we reported it we were told the warranty had expired.  They charged exorbitant prices for replacement cameras so we checked the internet and found that we could purchase the exact same cameras for 1/4th the price.  Easy to install ourselves.  We will never use them again. (Yes we complained and it did no good)

This number has been calling for days, several times a day, has been asked repeatedly to not call back, and all he will say is are you the owner? Are you the owner?  Yesterday he asked if he could have his cell number again?  I said did you have it before?  He said he did.  The owner of this company is 80, he doesn't believe in cell phones, and doesn't have one.  I don't mind salesmen calling, but these people seem pretty shifty.

Extremely rude. Wasted several people's time yesterday with 4+ calls. Claimed various untruths to try to reach our owner. Yeah, that's one way to do "business" but not the sort that we want any part of.

So, this guy called my HOUSE 4 times today. He forgot to block his number once though. He left 2 messages unknowingly. The first one was him talking to someone about Facebook and the other one he was singing to the radio. I almost fell over laughing...worst voice ever!! Unfortunately for me my house phone used to be the number for someone who ran a business out of their house, so I get stuck with these crap calls often :(

This number from BIT calls several times everyday.  Asking for the owner by name.  I just returned the call and ask to be put on the do not call list.  She was very nice and said it would take 24 hours.  So we will see.
