This morning I received text messages from this number stating that they were from AMANA Group Company, that my resume had been sent to them, and I had been chosen for an online interview. It did not seem right, so I searched the company. It is a JOB SCAM.

We continue to receive calls from Mr. Martin for our employee who supposedly owes a debt. However, Mr. Martin REFUSES to validate the debt or provide their agency name. Our employee is in jeopardy of losing his employment over this and we are so sick and tired of the telephone calls!

I get the same call but the man but says his name is Steven Brown,
and he called me on my job and I ask him not to well this turn into a night mare
he then call me every 10 seconds and then I told him if he calls me again I will
call the police file a haressed charges, and he told me that there is a complaint of
my arrest against my social surcerity number which I told him I know this is fraud,
I call the number back nd it says check the number and call again and I know this is
fraud now but yet this man continue to call me evry 10 seconds and now he continue to
call me at home, I don't feel like I need to take these call and now I don't know what
else to do except call the police. But my boss is upset that this is happening  and ask me
to take care of it, so please don't give anyone any information unless you know them people
will either steal you blind or continue to call and threathen you know matter what you say.

Mike I filed a complaint with the FCC today. Don't know exactly what will happen but I know that there are laws regarding the use of the telephone for fraudulent purposes so I am assuming that the FCC would have jurisdiction over a situation like this.

A gentleman named Mr. Martin keeps calling my place of business for an employee. He has been asked serveral times not to call and he continues to call and has also become blatantly disrespectful to myself and other employees. He has call nearly 15 times today. This is a scam and the employee said that they got his number from something he did on the internet. Go to FCC.gov and file a complaint if it continues.

This person called saying "unknown name, unknown number" on my caller ID.  They were looking for a friend of mine. I told this lady(Lisa) several times that he didnt live here.  She insisted he listed me as a reference.  "You need to get this message to him and tell him it is URGENT that he gets back to me."  I asked what it was about, so that I could relay the message....all she would tell me is that it is a legal matter.  She gave me the number.  336-609-7636.  She was difficult to understand and very persistent, and there was alot of backround noise/static.

Called 19 times in a row. Picked up with a smoke alarm in hand. BEEP BEEP BEEP into the mic.

a foreign (Indiana) lady keeps calling my cell phone and former place of employement and my attorny threatening me with being picked up and dragged into court for a defaulted pay day loan which I DO NOT HAVE! this is rediculous and needs to stop. What can you do about this? They have been told I have not worked at this place in 2 months and continue to call and threaten them!

They have done nothing but call my job all morning demanding money from me they wont stop

We have an employee who is getting harrassing phone calls from this number.  She is called repeatedly during the day.  The person calling request money to settle a debt but will not explain the debt until payment is received.

Person called and said that they were from Department of Financial Fraud and a complaint had been filed against me.  Said that her name was Karen Detray but spoke with a very thick ancient.

hey i have same prob, i been going thru it for 5 months now, i finally got sick and tired , i started calling them back, to be exact i redialed over and over after 1 hour 43 minutes he was begging me on phone to stop, i said nope i up all night a s   s hle, it me u it payback time, but i did find out info indi accent yeah, not going tell you how i know what i do but they located in united states running thru servers so cant be traced i filed wit police and ftc and have go tomorrow police update info and u.s marshalls going after them try catch them. hang in there, if luck i be putting end to it soon

this idiots been bothering me for 5 months now, usses name james parks,james smith,lisa smith,lmichael lee,michael thomas,michael smith,francisco defectlin. numbers come from florida,  hawaii, iowa,michigan,north carolina,new jersey,new york, claim a debt with u.s cash advance which  i never dealt with,asked for certified documentation thru mail and they get mad and cuss and swear, and threaten .did have cop on phone once with the guy and the guy messed up said was from india, then goes in hawaii now , asked cop for his social security number, got them to stop calling for about  a month but they back with new names and numbers

I moved and got a new phone number and landline service for my home.  The second day I had the number, I get a phone call from 336-609-7636.  It was a male and he had an indian accent.  He asked to speak to a Kareese (she probably owned my new telephone number before I did and she probably disconnected it because these people were doing this to her).  I've posted my story here and on other blogs before about these people.  Here's how I got them to STOP:

After I looked the number online and found out they were a scam oh I toyed with them to no end.  Everytime he called, my husband and I took turns saying the most ridiculous and annoying things ever.  I said things like :Oh yeah, Kareese died yesterday.  You'll have to try to steal money from her grave.  We spoke in indian sounding accents and said "I'm a poor indian scoundrel and I'm trying to steal other people's money".  Then I'd answer the phone and say "White House, how can I help you?"  Amazingly these IDIOTS kept calling back with the same line.  They probably call so many people on their list of victims they forget our voices.  I'd say :" I'm the first lady, Michelle Obama and I'm getting my husband to send a missile to your exact location at this very moment, 1, 2, 3 KABOOOM!  Are you dead yet, you psycho a***ole?"  "Hey, I want to be right with the law and settle this legal complaint you say was filed against me, so I'm going to wire you one million dollars right now, just please write down the bank and account number where you have to pick it up, 123 bank of f****ng losers".  We did this to them in about 15 calls for about 2 hours until they finally had had enough.  We'd answer making animal sounds, mooing like cows, talking about how ridiculously small his p***s probably was, telling him his wife was probably his donkey out back, I mean we had a field day with these idiots.  Eventually, they gave up!  If you can't stop them, by all means, HAVE FUN AT THEIR EXPENSE!!!

These people have been calling me everyday for over two weeks I normally ignored the phone call because I don't answer numbers that aren't in my area code or aren't area code numbers I know from family and friends my policy if its important they'll leave a message, well I answered and the guy Jeremy Stuart said there were charges against my Ssn and asked if I'd like to know more I (already suspecting it was a scam) said yes go, Jeremy then informed me that he would transfer me To his supervisor so he did and the supervisor informed me that I received charges against my ssn because of a cash advance I received into my associate bank account, after hearing this I knew I was right that this was a scam, so I let him finish and then informed him that I knew this was a scam and that I never received a cash advance into said bank account because said bank account was closed over a year ago. He then got angry and said that charges would be pressed against me and I said fine press charges and hung up. They called back I informed them not to call me anymore or I'd be filing my own form of charges then hung up again they called yet again this time it was Jeremy and I could hear in his tone of voice he was angry as he told me I was in big big trouble and that there would be a warrant issued, I said fine so be it but stop calling me, shortly after I went shopping decided then to vent to a friend and sure enough same thing happened to her sister in law just last week, I called the company back and said to remove my number from the list they said they would not because I have three charges against my ssn and that my ssn would be blocked I said if you do not remove my number I will contact the better business burrow and he insisted that there was now a warrant out for my arrest and then hung up on me. Whatever you do do not give these people any money it is a scam and if they are a debt collector they cannot issue warrants because you haven't given them money all they can do is ask to set up a payment plan and also notify your bank as well as local law enforcement just to verify plus helps create a case file just in case things progress.

Monday morning while I was shopping my cell phone rang with this 336-609-7636.  I did not answer as I did not reconize the number.  I rejected it.  They called right back, I rejected.  Before it was said and done this happened 4 or 5 times.  On the 5th or so call I answered the call because they were starting to make me mad.  Sounded like a Indian women.  Could not really understand her.  She kept wanting to speak to my manger.  I told her over and over and over this was a personal phone number you were calling.  She flat out was not listening to me.  I hung up on her, of course she called right back.  I told her to quit calling this phone and she proceeds to ask me why I am being nasty to her and not letting her get a word in-well HELLO I told you over and over again that this was a personal phone.  I hung up again because I was very angry at this point.  I turned my phone off for 15 minutes and when I turned it back on I had a voice mail from this idiot saying that I had a legal complaint against me and my ss#.  They are trying to help me.  Yeah right.  I saved the message and came home and pulled this number up and seen all the comments.  These people are sick.  It is such a joke.  Do't waste your time with them.

Call all the numbers in my office using multiple computers and harasses employees at work place. Claims his name is Michael Slore representing US Cash advance

Add the name Michael Slore to this. Did anyone lodge a complaint? if so what is the correct agency that handles this.?

On 04/19/2013 They called my job all day long.  I spoke with someone who claimed to be Karen Detray and she wouldn't give me the reason why she was calling me. They will call and leave threatening phone calls. I called them back and ask questions what do you want from me. Then all they do is hang up on me.  Then they continue to call this office and just hang up...

I received four calls from 336-609-7637 I just spoke to my attorney and he stated do not send them anything that it is a scam he said that if it was legit I would receive a certified letter in the mail with the details and not to call them back

Well they just got reported again then .............I'm NOT the one for them to try to play with.

No this is NOT the only number they use...They have at least 10 to 20 that they use..

Well honey your screwed!! Now they will keep calling coming with other debt's "you owe" report them to anyone who will listen!!! Local police, A.G., FCC, FBI

The guy name Edward Marshall and the girl name Karen Detray keep call my cell phone and work phone to tie up phone line. they are the scam pretend to be the debt collector and they only receive payment by Moneygram or Western Union. They also threaten me. I hope my boss understand this is a scam, I can't pay money to the scam.
