03-20-2014 @ 2:14 PM, 336-722-0292, DOCTOR'S OFFICE = Legit robocall reminder on tomorrow's doctor's appointment.  Wife answered phone while I was gone, and she said they mentioned my name & that I had an appt. @ 10:30 AM.  Internet search shows call originated in Greensboro, North Carolina.  I guess doctor is utilizing this company to remind patients of their appointments.  This particular doctor's office is in Festus, MISSOURI.  Intend to talk to doctor about it tomorrow.  Since I always remember my appointments, I surely don't need their stupid reminders.  I guess some people do.

Your message should have TOLD you your Doctors' Name and time of your UPCOMING Doctor Appointment. If you don't CONFIRM the Call Notice they CALL you back!

I received a call from this number reminding me of a doctor's appointment. it was slightly insaccurate but close to the right time.

I got a call from this number two times within 17 minutes of each other. Both times, they left a message. It just says "October" on both voicemails. Literally that one word, "October", then hangs up. Gee, thanks for the info! I almost forgot that tomorrow is October! So glad I got that message.

Same thing happened to me, I know my doctors and their numbers which is why this is so odd and I don't live anywhere near N.C. where the call originated from.

Received a message from this number saying it was confirming a doctor's apt. I have no idea who it was and know no doctors with this area code or number

Just got the same call. It was my Dr's office with an appt. reminder

The message is  reminding me of a Dr's app't. No name of the Dr, or the time or day. It's a silly system.

.... You're canceling your appointment because they called you to remind you of your appointment... right... cuz that makes TOTAL sense... Its an automated system doctors use to automatically call you to remind you of your upcoming appointment... No information is "sold" to anyone or anything - its your DOCTORS OFFICE...

I got this reminder last evening and I cannot for the life of me figure out what doctor appointment I have..

It looks like the doctors outsource the calling of patients to another party, I do not believe its in violation of any HIPAA law.

I received a phone call from this number, I was unable to answer and I live in NY...so I'm unsure why a South Carolina doctor's office would call me.

I get repeated calls, waking me up sometimes in the morning early.  I do not know of any appointment it could be reminding me.

i got one that said id never recover >=( im on meds cause of s*** like this ! I never give this number out,i tryd to call back said it was a window number.

Nothing "legit" here. It means a doctors office has given your personal information, without your permission, to a third party in a different state. I'll be canceling my appointment.

this call came from North Carolina as a reminder of a medical appointment in Southeastern connecticut--it used a combination of live and computerized messaging--may be a service for doctors?

Received call on 06/06/2011 - "Doctor's Office" in caller ID - I didn't answer, but a voice mail was left.  It is a computer generated service that reminds of physician's appointments, and apparently it is any physician anywhere in the country that can sign up for the service (his doctor is in Georgia).

This is third-party software used to remind people of doctor's appointments.  I think the company might be "Phone Tree" located in Winston Salem, North Carolina, hence the odd-ball area code.  Here's the company's website: http://www.phonetree.com/

Just rec'd the first one of the day at 9 am, did not answer. Of course they leave no message, which I agree...kinda silly...what is the point of the reminder. Then second one at 9:15. It must be set on some relay system, again...no answer, no message. I have an appt with Doctor on the 17, which is Thurs this week. I am not impressed with this message system.

Got a call from this number. It was an automated system reminding me of an impending doctor's appointment.

I got five calls from this NC number in less than an hour's time--with no response from the calling number.
