Just received a call from this number from a company called Financial Services and Solutions.  They process loans and are located at 527 3rd Ave Stes 310 and 315, NYC, NY 10016.  I decided to google them and nothing under the company name and they are calling me from a North Carolina number.  They are asking for a paycheck stub and a copy of my driver's license.  I went along with them, only to send a fake driver's license and a fake paycheck stub.  The 800# that they provided was a cell phone and so I knew that they were a scam. When asked for my personal info, the girl, Lori, was pretty pushy as far as when they would receive it.  I told her sometime today and I sent. I am waiting to hear back from them, when I do, I will add another message.

They called me two times but keep hanging up. Never hear any thing. It also says that it is a Winston Salem number, but I am local to that city.

I recieved this call but wasn't5 home when call came in. this happen 3 to 4 times until curiousity got to me and i called number bck. When calling back number was always busy. It's a scam

Got a call from this # on 4-24-09. Guy on the phone sounded like an illegal Mexican immigrant looking to scam me out of my identity and CC info. Said something about being eligible for a free $100 gas card and a free 3-day 2-night stay at one of over 80 locations in the USA, and all I had to do in return was pay them $5.95 for postage & handling but it was only payable using a major credit card. I asked him if I could pay the $5.95 S/H with a postal money order and he said NO. It was obviously a scam. Said they had a website if I wanted to verify they were legit, but these scams nowadays have gone high-tech with websites and everything. I'll bet the gas card he was gonna send me was fraudulent - assuming he was really gonna send me a $100 gas card. I'll bet he had no intentions of sending me anything at all! All I can say is NICE TRY D***HEAD. And you wonder why we hate Mexicans - LMFAO!! If you are a Mexican and are here in the USA illegally then get the fark out of our country.... and don't let the door hit you on the way out.... and take your scams with you....

It is 4/28/09 and I just woke up to the phone ringing at 6:44 AM and the caller ID was saying "unknown name - 336-776-3071".  They hung up before I could find the phone.  I called the number back and got an auntomated voice saying "please enter your complete pin number".  Of course I did not enter anything.  After waiting, it said "no card number has been entered".  It repeated that three times and then told me "goodbye".  I haven't got a clue who this is.  I do not think they are a legitimate anything.

Called I did not know number and did not answer. No message was left.

I received a call from this number.Same story. however the same number called back a few days later and was apparently trying to legitamately place a call. I asked who it was. They gave me a name.  big mistake.I am     a detective they are using a magickjack to place the calls they live in NC in burke co. town of morganton. the address is 2778 pax-hill rd. 28655. their names are victoria basinger and her husband dawson. their 21 yo son is named josh craver(which may be the victoria ladies last name too) the phone is listed as dawson basinger. who is in and out of mental hosp. She has a retarded son who works at mcdonalds. She works at a homeless shelter.they also have a daughter and a pool. they bootleg movies and take advantage of mentally ill people their son meets. their home phone number is 8284751224. their cell # is 828 403 5142. I hope this helps please contact your states atty gen. office.

yup, everyone here is right - this is a total scam!  I get these calls on my cell phone and they never leave a message.  I Googled the number and found this site. I just called the # back off a landline and it says "please enter your pin number."  WHO ARE THESE A**HOLES???  I am on all "do not call registries." This infuriates me! How can we get them shut down?

I'm tired of this number already 7 times, today i was at home and they just said "goodbye" but looked like a machine ...I call back even long distance to me since that i' m at Montreal, canada and the line always busy.

Just received a call from this number stating that it was Galaxy Member Benefits and that my number had been selected to recieve a $1000 shopping spree and a $40 gas card. All I had to do was pay %5.95 one time membership fee. He knew my name and address, had a foreign accent, and gave me his name and two toll-free numbers to call. I hung up on him.

Called and stated he was with a law firm.  It was evident that he was calling from a phone bank as I could hear other people all trying to hustle someone.  His english was very poor and he gave a common name.  Alex Brown.

My Sister-in-law called from her home, on the Surry Telephone, and showed up on my caller ID as 336-776-3071. How is this happening?

Called me, asked for me by my maiden name which I haven't used in over 3 years which tipped me off that it is not a current company that I have an account with of anything. Caller spoke English very well, sounded like a local guy. I told him he had the wrong number. He became beligerent asking me if I know this person etc. Ofcourse I was on the computer reading all the fraud things about whoever it was calling me. I tried calling the number back and it gave me the Enter Pin number deal. What a crock.

I just called this number 336-776-3071 and it said to enter your complete pin number and after I didn't put it in it said that I didn't put in my card number.

We got this same number too 336-776-3071.  The prerecorded voice said this is our final notice that they would be raising our interest rate on our card but never said what company they were with and who they were leaving the message for.

Received multiple calls showing 776-3071 as Private.  Since it shows no Area Code, it must be 336.  However, no one ever answers if we happen to pick up.  I have read the posts and see that it is a scam number. I just want it STOPPED!

Got a call from this guy that barely spoke english.  He'd ask me a question like "Is this James" and when I said "yes" he'd obviously have a hard time coming to the next phrase.  He identified himself as related to one of those fly-by-night e-pharmacies in this case.  I think this is a re-dialer number; spammers get minutes with WCT then use their service to make local phone calls to their customers...

Got a call from 336-776-3071 and whoever was on the other end couldn't even speak english. I told them when they learned to speak english to call back or better yet drop dead. I tried to call back and my call would not go through.

336-776-3071.  Received two phone messages about an hour apart.  Doesn't leave a name or message. Intelius reports that this phone number is listed as a landline account to one Steven Smith of 708 Hudson, Winston-Salem 27105 and/or possibly one Thomas Bennett, Jr. of 1643 Jordan Drive, Winston-Salem 27105.

A call was received by my answering machine.  A voice said "Please hold while I connect you," which was followed by muzak of some kind.  A male voice then came on asking for me by name.  Then he repeated the question, apparently thinking someone was on the line.  When I checked the caller ID, it said "Private Caller," but the number was 336-776-3071.  As with others here, I checked it out, and it is as stated here, from Winston-Salem NC through South Central Bell.  When I called the number as a local and long distance call, I'm told "This number is not in service."  Really?  Then how does it show up on people's caller ID that it is in fact in service?  Who can make that possible?

I would appreciated if and when someone from this number ask for my husband to leave a message or say I will try back later; instead of hanging up on me....  That's very rude!!!!  Then when I try call *69 this number came up 336-776-3071 when I try to call back it said that it was disconnected and I just got off the phone with them.

Its a bill collector... I guess they figure if you dont answer 800 numbers they try local numbers. Advantage Source or something like that.  They will pester the crap out of you.
