Pay day loans is not fraud. By the law its not considered a fraudulent process. I stopped payment on one due to the comany saying they were gonna take out x amount and they took out way more and they would never let me speak to a manager. Im not gonna pay them cuz they are liars and frauds. I spoke to district attorney in my county and texas attorney general and they told me not to give out any info.

This from the shill who can't spell "legit" the same way twice. Or "debt" for that matter.

I guess if "corporations are people" a ten digit number can be "a legit person". Yeah, why not?

So is "Ms. Goins" a family trainee of Randall Goins, the felon behind Investment Management & Recoveries? You know, the guy who served seven years for assault with a deadly weapon? The lawbreaking collection agency tycoon who lives like a high roller off his unpaid staff?

While the shill is thinking, let's point to some other websites which will begin to "give you all the info you need" to defeat these turd stains.

http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fdcpajump.shtm
http://www.consumerfinance.gov/guidance/supervision/manual/fdcpa-narrative/

I see your "depository fraud" and raise you "debt collection fraud". One more time now, a delinquent payday loan is not a "hot check" and debt in the USA is not a criminal concern. These shills simply will not get it through their dense skulls that their ridiculous lies are not working here.

Debt Collector
I received the same call from Ms. Goins at my work.  She said she was investigating a possible fraud claim against me for an old debt.  She said she wanted to work out a payment arrangement with me before they filed suit.  I told her that I wanted verification of the debt in writing and she said they had already sent it to me in September.  So I told her to send it to me again by Certified Mail and she said "there was no time for that," that if I made payment arrangements with her she could send me verification of the debt by email.  She started getting huffy with me because I insisted on receiving verification of the debt by certified mail before I made any sort of payment plan.  She eventually got so irritated with me that she put me on hold and I hung up.
Please do NOT make arrangements with these people if they cannot or refuse to verify the supposed debt.

Receive calls at least once weekly from "LLA" with a Mrs. Goins at (336) 790-0188 ext. 100.  She states that I am being investigated for depository fraud and that either myself or my attorney needs to contact her TODAY to give a verbal statement before she sends this on to the county "In which you reside."  This is scam.  I reported this to the Federal Trade Commission and spoke to a woman there regarding my complaint.

I keep getting a call from the number (336) 790-0188 stating that I or my attorney needs to contact them regarding depository fraud and that I need to call back before forwarding this on to the county in which I live.  This is a scam and this needs to stop immediately.

Who's Calling? That Debt Collector Could Be a Fake

Consumers across the country report that they're getting telephone calls from people trying to collect on loans the consumers never received or on loans they did receive but for amounts they do not owe. Others are receiving calls from people seeking to recover on loans consumers received but where the creditors never authorized the callers to collect for them. So what's the story?

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.

Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.

Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.>

Got a call on my government work number.  Woman named "Ms. Goins"  asked for a coworker said there was a "Depository Fraud" file on her desk.  Gave me file number said that she needed to call her back.  Sounds like a scam or highly aggressive (illegal?) collection tactic.
