They're not the NCSHP.  They're self-appointed, paid (too much) solicitors that represent themselves as calling on behalf of the families of NCSHP troopers that have been killed in the line of duty.  They pass along about 15% or less of what they collect for their ruse.  These people are lower than whale doot.  Don't give them anything but a hard time.

Received call just a while ago. Did not pick up caller ID says as follows, "V6171534550037' instead of a name, then the number 336-899-7101.

i just got a message from them i never answered i am on the do not call list so nc highway patrol that goes for you to your blocked

Just got a phone call from them, didn't pick up, but good to know to not worry about it.
