I received a text from the # to set up an interview. I guess I responded to an ad that was a hoax. They told me to set up a yahoo account and IM a certain address to start the interview. Seconds into that I told then how unprofessional the interview process was and they offered me the job and proceeded to ask for my banking info. Definitely a # used to scam people. Report it. I did. I called the company they were claiming to represent and gave them both names.

I received a call from this number.  She said she was calling from the Worcester Telegram and Gazette and said she saw I discontinued my yearly subscription and that I owed a small balance.  I instantly got angry and admonished "what balance? I paid for the whole year with my credit card.  What balance would I owe?"  I must have made her nervous because she said she would make a note of it.  And that was all.

I can't figure out who this is either.

I routinely ignore calls w/cid "NOT AVAILABLE". I will then check here to see what a-hole was calling. I WAS a subscriber to the Worcester Telegram, but let the subscription run out because they only offered deals to new subscribers and screwed the long time ones. HOWEVER, they continued to deliver papers past the subscription expiration date for an additional month. I answered a call months ago, from another of their many numbers and they told me that even though my subscription expired, it was up to me to still call them and cancel! What a bunch of B.S.! why have an expiration date that you must still call and cancel by? Needless to say they are still after that additional month with one call, and keep trying to get me to resubscribe w/others including deals in the mail. If you call wanting to resubscribe, they try to nail you for the lousy month they gave you! Screw them! Their newspaper is good for kindling in a campfire or fireplace, but that is about all I miss about it.

How do you get money?  If I'd been getting money, I'd get rich off I these calls by now!

I keep getting calls from them every day including sundays and holidays. However, I called back a few times. The first time I got a answering machine for a regional media group. The second time I called back it got forwarded to 602-942-0091. Im not sure why this is. When I pick up, they say nothing. I am on the do not call list and have been. Even though I have told them multiple times, they still call. However, I have added them to my own personal Do not call list with charter phone thank god for that feature, "Personal Call Screening" I would highly reccommend it for this type of thing. I have been very frustrated. Plus they have called past 10pm which i have been in the telemarketing business, and I Know the laws and of course everyone knows that is Illegal. However, when you ask them to put you on their do not call list, or inform them, they can NEVER call back again. If they do, document it, and report it because you can get money for each time they call.

I got this call but I didn't answer, that's what you all should do, just don't answer the number if you don't recognize it!! then I check out the number online..9 times out of ten its a scam..

I too have received a call, but the caller told me I owed money to the "Worchester Gazette". I am a subscriber to the Worcester paper, the "Worcester Telegram & Gazette", I don't owe them money. I hung up. Definitely a scam!

I received this call during the day time.

I received a call from this number close to 8 pm one night.  They claimed I owed money to the Worcester Telegram subscription and when I told them I didn't have my credit card on me to pay the balanced owed, they would call back the next day.  This is 2 weeks ago.  I haven't heard from them or Worcester Telegram since.  Now I'm thinking it was a hoax and I am glad I never gave them my credit card number.
