Hello everyone, 6:52 A.M. CST I received two texts from 339-545-2842, email justinb0022@hotmail.com regrading a sale I am offering at my clothing store in Ok. Like you all, wanted to know if I would accept Paypal which I do not, we use square market. Info I have found 1-339-545-2842 Bandwidth.com "Republic Wireless" VoIP in Medford, MA. Glad I researched the number and email address before contacting this individual.

I agree, craigslist scammer...email coming from a Justinb022@hotmail.com  who wants to buy a wedding dress they can't try on??!! Okay Justin (which is a boy name) who wants to buy my wedding dress and wants to pay on paypal! LOL. No thanks. Beat it. watch out for this number.

I had some idems on craigslist and got a text asking if i accepted paypal thats the only way he could pay me asking for $350 to ship my shippment for from the number 3395452842 and his email address is justinb0022@hotmail.com he is a scammer so be aware!!!

I have a wedding dress ad on Craigslist bad this number has once again tried to scam another person. The email associated with this was justinb0022@hotmail.com. They have failed another scam thanks to all your postings.

  This person attempted to scam me out of an item I had posted on Craigslist.   Thank goodness, I googled the number and found this site!

Just got an email from jsusan03@hotmail.com regarding a wedding dress on oncewed.com and figured I would google the email address before giving them my paypal email and came across this website. So happy I did! I just told "Susan Joy" that I will no longer be selling the dress and that he/she should not attempt to send money to my Paypal account.

Got a text from this number today. Regarding a wedding dress I have listed on Craigslist. In the ad, I wrote that I would not do business by text and that buyer HAD to be in the area to purchase the item. But this scammer with this number texted me anyway, asking if I would accept Paypal. Anymore, I don't even answer anyone who texts me.

I posted a wedding dress for sale on craigslist and then I received a text message from this person (teresa mayd) who said she could only make payments through a paypal account and would need me to ship her the dress. She wanted me to email her a paypal invoice so that she could make payment, yet she wouldn't give me any of her contact information or mailing address. This person did not want to see the dress in person and the whole thing was a little shady, so I decided to look up the number and came across the scamming info that everybody was writing.  Stay away from anyone who wants you to set up a paypal account.

what happens is in 30 days someone will contact you back saying the credit card used is stolen. If people use relay through telephone that is a scam as well.

I got the texts this morning about 3:45 asking me to send my paypal info and of course I did then I got the long spill about being over seas blah blah blah total paypal scam...wish I hadn't sent my info...

I just got a text today as well, asking if I accept paypal for a $400 item I have listed on craigslist (posted in a different state than the area code of the texter). I wish I'd had have checked the phone number before emailing him/her to say yes I accept paypal...

Serious question though for my own learning... how can you get scammed via paypal if I send him/her a request for money, receive the money from him/her, and then ship the item to him/her (insured, of course)?

Paypal scammer that contacts you via text, trying to get you pay $450 to Western Union so that he (in this case, Lisa) transaction will go through. When you don't respond they demand that you pay because you are ripping them off. THey got my number from a Craigslist where I was trying to sell a very expensive bike. Waste of time, automated responses (same as 1st OP) and "what do you mean ok?" over and over and over.

He is in fact a Paypal scammer. He will tell you he's at sea and he's an Oceanographer. Be smart, steer clear of this guy.
