I have had the same dumbass man call my # with this Indian or whatever he is accent.  He called today & said he was from the U.S. Gov. & before he could utter another word, I told him he worked for the government just as much as I do, & to call his own damn country & harass his people.  I hung up, well about an couple hours later, the phone rang & I saw it was the same number from earlier but a woman with the same accent as him asked for me but she could barely get my name out because she was about to start laughing & before she could say anything else, I told her I knew where she was calling from & for her & that man with her to go straight to hell & back to their own damn country & she started to laugh & then I did say another choice word, I will not go into details here, but hung up again.

This is the second time I got a call like this. I said NO the first time and hung up. They called me back the second time to tell how lucky I was and it would be a big mistake if I missed the opportunity. I asked for his name and address and phone number. He ended up giving a 800 number with an address in Ohio. When I spoke with him more the guy asked me for a one time mailing fee and in return I asked him to deduct it from my grant money. He asked me to be serious and I told him that I know it was a fake call and it was entertaining and made my weekend. He hung up. :-).

Can hardly understand his English and then he starts telling me he is with the United States
government and I have won $7000. and do not have to repay...yep you betcha and I hung up.
3 calls now.

I told the caller to pies off! Then I hung up I have a jack*** calling answer option on my phone so I added  it to that phone number I  don't even have to look at the phone screen.  I simply ignore the call period! The  scammers are coming out in force  and they are very innovative. The government doesn't make calls prior to written correspondence or notification.

I get call from this number up to 3 times daily for the past 4 or 5 days.

Have been getting calls from this number multiple times a day, they never say anything, just keep calling. Im gettimg quite annoyed with this!!

Called at noon by these people. Area code is a Brooklyn number, claimed they were with the Government loans division. Told them we don't need their money and hung up. I suggest you do the same. Also having a routing and account number cannot let them drain your bank account, or else every check you've ever written might put you in danger of this.

This person calls me 2-3 times per business day.  Never leaves a message - I refuse to answer any call that I don't recognize the number.  I have tried multiple times to add my phone # to the National Do Not Call Registry - doesn't seem to work.    Also starting getting the same thing from a phone number in NV recently.  It's down right annoying, especially at work.

They will continue to call a couple times a day until you block the number.  I have not answered and they have not left a message but DID block the #.  

I received a call from this number about 7000 dollars I read all these post and then decided to trick them I call from my cell a different area code a noticed it was a home I was very polite and asked her name she said lady. Then she asked me how I GOT HER NUMBER  I said I was called and gave this number for 7000 grant she then said wrong number but I just got off the phone with her on my house phone. THIS  NUMBER IS A SCAM DONT FALL FOR IT THEY ARE TRYING T GET YOUR MONEY. NOW THEY WONT ANSWER TO MY OTHER NUMBER BUT I;M ABOUT TO CALL THEMM FROM MY GOOGLE PHONE.. I CAN PLAY ON THE PHONE TOO

this number has repeatedly called me.i have tried to be respectful and polite but i have recently tried to just be nasty and they still dont stop.no idea how to make it stop!

I just got a call today saying the same thing i won a grant and can get it on western union and thank god i didnt give any infromation. I asked my aunt if its true or not.

They call me like twice a day every day. They new my name and said  you applied for a tax refund loan. I said hell I ant applied for s***. Then they hung up still calling though.

Same story.. They call never answer and I finally got someone to reply. I think the person on the other end in dead space must need a job  receiving a paycheck for picking up the phone. So they appear to be on the phone talking to someone to the boss.

However the last call a lady sounded like she had marbles in her mouth and was from like France. I could not understand her she talked very quietly.Very loud in the back ground, very busy place it is.. A man from India got on the line and told me his was with the US Government and had a 7k check to give to me, as I pay my bills on time and I never filed bankruptcy. I told him it was not believable. Not how our government works.He told me if I did not believe him to hang up. Very rude also.. lol.. SO I did !

Then since they have called me like 5 times so far, I put them in my phone and hit the wonder new add on, block caller.

Dang it I have been job hunting and must have applied to  something in which my resume has my phone number. I think it is sad our society has become like this .. Fraud and Identity theft.. I got the same thing this afternoon as everyone else . A number from NY 347-166-5870. They could not pronounce my easy last name had to spell it, I could not hear the person cause of background noise.. English very bad.. I asked what it was in reference to. A guy came on from India decent and said he was with the US government and I was getting 7 k back from the government cause I was a good person and I had not filed bankruptcy in the past year.. I told him the government doesn't call usually and I didn't believe him.. He told me to hang up then! Rude! Lol.. Which I did.

Called me twice about a gov. grant that they wanted to know how to mail it to me.  I said "If your talking about the U.S. government there's no way in hell they have anyone calling to tell people they have money to "give" away to them.  They told me I could get the grant for $7000 as long as I don't use it for drugs or alcohol.  I said ok... just send it to me in the mail because if you are the government, they have all my information.  LOL

Same thing happened to me. Foreign man has been calling for the last 3 days after I hung up the first time. Advising me that I have been chosen to receive a government grant of $7k. Yeah right.. He stated he was from D.C.. First of all, as soon as I hear an accent, I get suspicious. Then when they say I have won money. Now I really know it's a scam.. When Publishers Clearing House comes knocking on my door will I know that I have won something.

This number had called my phone everyday for the past 3 days now.When i first saw the number,i knew it didnt look right cause of the 166 so i blocked the number with an app called mr number on android and i googled the numbet.I called it back private and it wasnt a working number.That number called my phone not to long ago but couldnt get through cause i blocked it.I can see that you called even if its blocked.I want this number to stop calling me

This man was telling me he was from the us government and was asking me if I needed government grants. I was told I was going to received 7,000 dollars grant. He wanted my bank card to transfer. I told him he was a scam artist and hung up the phone.

They have called 3 times today the first 2 I could not answer because I was at work.  This last time they hung up when I answered because I also run a business with my husband and answered with the business name.  When I tried to call back it stated this person is not accepting calls so I sent a text and did not get a return message to say it was a land line.  Which tells me this is a cell phone.  What call center use cell phones to call customers????   Stupid people.   I hope they get what they deserve trying to scam people.

SCAM OPERATION! TRYING TO GET EVERYTHING POSSIBLE $$$ + INCLUDING PERSONAL INFORMATION & CREDIT CARD NUMBERS & BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER.

He called me too and said that he was calling from Washington DC with the US Gov. I told him that I knew he was lying as soon as he told me he was calling from DC since it came up as Albany,NY on my phone. He got really angry and told me I was wasting his time and hung up.

Just got a call from this number supposedly from the Washington DC claim department for something,
