Hi there, I too was a victim of this scam, thank god I didn't pay them. I just got the weird calls from these Indian guys claiming I will get arrested, or have to go to court if I do not pay cashnet, however these Indian men are claiming that they represent a law firm, White&Case and that cashnet is going to sue me. Since I just got the calls today I cannot say if I will have money withdrawn from bank account, but I am curious if you had to them take money out or not? I will make my bank aware, but still.

this number keeps calling my job harassing me and my boss as well as some of my family members and I don't know who they are or how they obtained my information. I would just want them to stop harassing my co-workers myself and my family. Whom ever this is has a very heavy accent from like India or something. Please help if you hang up they call over and over. I have read other posts about this number or they will call from this number as well 303-353-1867 I want this to stop

you are not the only one.  these people are a pain in the a--. I get them calling me three to four time aday.  I file report after report.  Also file with the ftc  and fcc.  These people need to get life but they are not that smart.  Same message all the time.  I just wish it would stop.   I just keep filing and filing away.

This guy with a strong middle eastern accent said he was calling my husband regarding a payday loan that he had taken out.  He never took out any payday loan!  This guy was insisting that we owed  money and that steps would be taken to get their money back. How do we stop these calls?!?

Officer Jacob Martin from Dept of law and investigations.  Let message on my work phone that is was urgent to contact him on a legal matter. Last week he called my cell phone and I told them I had reported them to the police and not to call me again.

I received a call from this number and a 970-765-7609 on April 25, 2011 at April 26, 2011 several times after faxing a cease and desist letter and a validation number to there company. They have told me that they are with the Department of Law Investigations, Department of Education, Officer Peter Parker, and the Government. They keep calling and I'll keep faxing since they don't have a mailing address so they say. I filed a complaint with the FTC and placed my information on the Do Not Call Registry.

They are scam artists - i just got calls from them at work - they call me a liar, etc.

THESE PEOPLE ARE SAYING THEY ARE FROM WHITE AND CASE - AN ATTORNEY FROM THE FIRM EMAILED ME AND SAID I AM BEING SCAMMED.  THEY ARE HARASSING ME.

I received a call from these people starting in January.  They would call my phone 20 times a day and then they started calling my job 50 to 60 times a day.  It was putting my job in jeopardy.  I work with a Mental Health Agency and I am barely in the office; different ones from the Office would call or e-mail me telling me that a man by the name of Robin WIlson kept calling.  He first starting calling from   (760)933-8136, (720)213-1864, (720)230-1421, and (303)731-1582; fax number (303)484-2354.  He stated that he was calling from Law and Investigations and that I had a lawsuit against my name and social security number.  He knew all my information from name, social security number, address, telephone numbers (home and cell), place of employment (address and telephone number) and my bank account information.  After so many phone calls to my cell phone and employer stating that I owed them money and I would be arrested if I did not pay them; I gave in and paid them $789.00 which was debit from my bank account.  I once took out a payday loan over the internet but I paid it in full a year ago.  I called the company where I did my loan at and she gave me this number to Alex Williams of Law and Investigations @ (415)779-3044 he look into for a few days.  He gave me a call this morning telling me to contact my bank (for reimbursement), FBI, and local authorities because this is a SCAM.  He encouraged me to google the number and here I am.

I have also been getting calls from this man he told me his name was Officer Reggie Wilson he could not speak english good at all saying he was going to have me put in jail if i did not pay him. Called my children told them they would go to jail also.

I receive a call today.  Making threats.  Call me four time in a row.  I have contacted the local police and filed a report with them against them.  Also file with FTC.  These people have to be stop.  they are not the smartest people on earth.  I have also receive calls from same people under all different phone number too.

I have been receiving these calls all day. Report them to the Credit Bureau and FBI Immediately!

My daughter got a phone call from the same people leaving voicemail from law office of Paul Harrison, Dept of Law and Investigation.  They acted like it was an offense of hers saying that if she didn't return the call immediately he wished her luck on what the outcome would be.  It was quite scary message.  When she called them back, they said her dad had a fraudulent loan and had used her for a reference.  They did say they had a phone number for him but gave her a bogus number.  She was scared (she's 20 years old) and gave them his home number.  This man is scary.  And what he is threatening is scary!

this guy called claiming to be officer Austin from dept of criminal investigations, telling me that I owed Cashnet money, I have never received money from cashnet.  He told me I was facing jail time and thousands of dollars in fines if I didn't make a decision to pay him the money within 24 hours.  He also told me that there was a federal warrant for my arrest.

I have reported these people to the police. My local police department told me that their is no way of catching them but to report it anyway. Also to report them to my bank and the credit reporting agencies. So now I have to have a fraud report for life thanks to these a**les..

I received a call from this idiot as well, threatening to sue me for a loan I received from Cash Net and did not repay. I have no clue who or what is cash net. I cant wait on that law suit, so IDIOT please bring it on.

First, it started with some guy calling and saying that he was calling to get a hold of my husband to verify employment. He actually called his place of employment and verified emplyment. So dude thought that if he called back and stated that he called his job and had a Company name we would get scared and call them back. Secondly, another guy calls and says he was hired by "plaintiff" to investigate my husband for check fraud and that we needed to contact him A.S.A.P or there would be further "actions". Little did he know that I actually do work for a law firm and that is not the way you contact the "other party"...
So, I know got a phone call from this guy who seriously should of took a class in HOW TO SPEAK CLEAR ENGLISH before trying to act like he is a cop from the investigation unit.And just like "Justme7's" says in his post he wished my husband luck and hoped he didnt disregard the message.. Well I just wish these people would stop harrassing us and leave us the f*** alone. I think I wil return the call to give them a piece of my mind.

How can we put a stop to these people?  Do we need to change our bank accounts?  These people have way too much info about us and that makes me very nervous since we live on a fixed income and can't afford to have our normal income interrupted. HELP!

The same people called me and told me there was a Federal warrent for my arrest for federal fraud and several other charges.  I asked them where they were calling from and who they were representing.  They said White and Case out of New York.  They said everything including my bank and ss# would be froze pending the litigations.  I took all the information down and then looked online.  I have never took a cash advance out so I was suspicious right off the bat.  The thing that bothers me is that they told me everything about me name Full SS#, address, # email , bank.  I contacted the local law enforcement.  The FBI,  the law firm, my bank and phone company.  I then called them back and told them as such and that I knew it was a scam.  I told them not to contact me any further, they said they would call my employer.  I told them to go ahead I no longer work for the company any more.  I wish  they would catch these crooks.  I have read several postings  where people actually sent them money.

This Guy with a heavy Indian accent called My Friend from this Number and told Her that I was committing fraud using Her name !!  Told Her to have Me call Him !!  WTF???  This same Guy called My phone twice the week before He called Her and Said He was a Federal Loan Investigator and that I was being investigated and that I should return His call and that if I didn't, He wished Me luck on what the outcome would be !!  Similar thing happened to My Son, except They told Him that He would be arrested if He didn't give them His credit card or bank account number !!  Where the %$#@ are these People coming from and why don't they pick on People in Their Own country !!!!  Luckily We are smarter than that !!
