Basically, if you register your number on the DO NOT CALL LIST, you're hooped. you'll recieve more calls from telemarketers than ever before. I've never, not once got a call from a telemarketer. So.. Good Luck.

they are most likely off-shore, number spoof callers.  dnc lists/reporting isn't going to help you.

I missed the call while in a Dr appointment. I tried to return the call, as they left no message, but only got a recording telling me that this phone number does not accept phone calls.

Another missed call from a telemarketer. Says they are "Cardholder Services". My number is on Do Not Call list. So what good is it if these telemarketers get through.

Urgent message regarding my credit card. Actually I have no current credit cards so this is a total fake. Offering to lower my interest rate to 6.9%. I am going to report them to the FCC as my number is supposed to be listed on the 'No Call List'.

Got a call on my cell phone.  I am on the dnoc list, both nation wide and state.  I did not ask them to call.   I do not want to be disturbed by them or anyone else.  There should be alow about these people disturbing people.  Where are my privacy rights????

Look up the local FBI office nearest you, get their number. And when someone calls - tell them this is your cell phone and you need them to call your office. Then give them the FBI local field office number. :)

Agree! I did it 2 years ago with a telemarketing company in Ohio.  Guess I wasn't the only one b/c a class action law suit was filed and I got over $300 in retrobution.  Pays to pay attention to class action law suits!

You should start recording the conversations, then report them...especially if they're rude.

call your phone company and see how to block their phone numbers from your phone  they use many but just keep putting blocks on each one you don't recognize.  they will eventually run out of phone numbers

These people have called on my home and cell phones.  You can press 2 until you are blue in the face.  They keep calling day after day.  Once I pressed 1 to speak to someone.  I said please do not call this number again I am not interested.  The guy hung up on me and called again.

I have been receiveing these same calls on my cell...can't prove it, but I started getting dozens of unwanted scammer phone calls & emails after I entered Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes.

They called my cell in the morning three times yesterday morning, but when I answer they didn't say anything.  My phone displayed the number and "New York" as the origin of the call.  I am on the DNC registry as well, but I guess until they actually say something, I can't report them.

Every time I press "1", and ask to be removed from their call list, I get the immediate hang up as well.

Recently, I strung a lady along for about ten minutes.  When I told her I didn't feel comfortable giving info over the phone and to mail me something (knowing full well she wouldn't), she kept giving me the telemarketer tap dance.  Finally, I told her about my past hang-up experiences and to remove me from the list, she became very nasty and told me "so that's why you're hesitant - talking to you is like talking to a brick wall.  Enjoy those high interest rates", and hung up.

Do not give them anything, I not thinking straight at the time did, when i came to my senses and tried to call back to cancel everything, the number said they were not accepting calls at this time. I cancelled my credit card and am now waiting to see what happens. Hopefully i cancelled in time. We shall see. I contacted Master Card who said they were not giving customer information out to any credit services. Red Flag. DO NOT ANSWER THEM AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The call is a recording and when I tied to connect with them  by responding with pressing one it gives me s busy signal..

I find it very interesting that I have told this company to not call again, that was on the house phone. Now they are calling my cell phone.. The other interesting fact, both of these numbers are on the National Do Not Call List.

I just gave them all the wrong information. I would bet if you started speaking a different language they'd never call back as well. haven't had the opp. to try that one yet.

I just received two calls on my cell phone from 347-260-1495 within a half hour. The first one I did not answer.  I answered the second call I to tell them to stop calling.  The voice message states that they can help reduce my credit card interest rate.  I pressed the one so I could speak with them to end these calls, but the line cleared.  They have called before and I'm getting tired of these calls.

What can be done about this.?  I have received many of these obnoxious calls from other businesses as well.  These people seem the most persistent.

Started getting calls from this number, used this website to look it up. Glad I did. Maybe next time, I'll answer identifying myself as the Federal Trade Commission!! "Press 1 to report unsolicited calls......."!!

I keep getting calls from 347-260-1495 and I keep hanging up on them.  I wish the cell phone carriers would come up with a way to stop these annoying telephone calls.  These calls should be directed to a site that allows the customer to choose he/she wants to accept the call.  It is very annoying to be at work in a business meeting and these calls keep coming in, I am not in a position to turn my cell phone as I receive call related to business during the meeting.  Something needs to be done to address this problem it is only getting worse.
