Just got this call from 3472690834 asked to talk to my husband (by first name). Heavy Indian accent.  I said he was not available, can I take a message? He asked when he will be available. I said, "I don't know, let me take a message"  Then he hung up.

Fake - these guys are fraud.

Being someone of Indian decent, I can tell this guy is lair.

Out of Area call claiming to be Energy calling Con Edison customers.  
I explain that we are the multi-dwelling complex who must refer to RiverBay Corp.
They said   my phone number will be removed however database show other reports.

News item in Bronx Times for August 2013 show Con Edison is flooded will calls from false billings or collections.

I should also add, once I look up that law firm by name, one, there is a "McGregor and Collins" in california (Then why are they using a New York number?) and when I search the number, the closest I find is 646-666-8883 which has reference to the fake law firm Weinstein McGregor and Collins and totally sounds like a scam.

I got a call from them and they left a voicemail.  Ronald Green from Weinstein McGregor & Collins.  Tells me to call their legal department at 646-666-8884. Reference File QC80971.  He says one of my employees is under investigation.  

That's funny, I was unaware I owned a business.  Sure convinced me to call back!

Caller with poor English speaking skills call our place of business seeking an employee.  Harrassing, daily calls have ensued over a two week period of time...some times back to back or up to four plus times per day.  States he is from Public Consolidation Legal Department and his phone number is 347-586-0500.
Number appears as Private on caller ID.

These people are calling my job now harassing me, my co worker! calling us out our names, saying he wants to speak with my supervisor.  CAN WE BLOCK THERE CALLING????

I have recieved very similar harassing  voicemails and text messages as everyone else here. They even call me by a name that isn't mine. They keep asking for Jessica, and either though I say they have the wrong number they ask me if I'm drunk. They are extremely rude and  threatened my job, my family members, and my references if i don't give them my SS number. The guy who calls me says he is Steve Johnson. By aware, if you ignore their call, they call right back with a number that has your area code to it. FREAKY!

I received a very similar call from 347-586-0494 same thing as previously mentioned, loud background noise, very heavy accent. The guy on the phone said his name was Steven Johnson and that I need to call him as soon as I get his message. He stated that he was calling from P.C.S. Public Consolidation Services and that my information was pending an investigation and also that it's not their fault if I loose my job. He also said at the end of his message to have a blessed day....Very fishy as none of my debt would be calling my like this is I did owe something that was that serious. So please be on the look out.

Our company receives calls from here about an employee. Heavy india accent. Claims to be a detective, then the next call says he's an investigator, next call from PCS legal dept threating to call the employer and take legal action against employees social security number. We'll never respond. dont answer calls from 347-491-5135

I just received a call from the same phone number, heavy accent, name is David Johnson, NY phone number claiming that he has received a public complaint on my husband and is trying to get a hold of him. He left a message on my phone telling me that I need to give him my husbands information so he can work out this complaint. He also cursed my husband out after calling him on his phone. WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE STILL OUT THERE????  Shouldn't the police or the government be doing something about this already??

I recived a call this morning from a comp called pcscorpinc. stating I owed them money froma loan that I never took out. the people sounded they were from the middle east or from india. when they gave me the number to the loan place the person sounded jst like the law office..this is such a huge scam..they got angry and said they were going to throw me and my girlfreind behind bars..they said we needed an attorny and we had to go to court...This is crazy..never do on line loans cause peoiple are scam artists.

I just got a phone call from a heavily accented man saying that he is getting ready to sue me unless I call him back and he advised that not even the "President of the United States has authority over this  business" Right there is a red flag, so I downloaded an app to my phone to block the calls, am registering on the do not call registry and reporting this call to the Nebraska Attorney General and the FBI. This is the 6th or 7th call I have received from some type of heavily accented gentleman, threatening legal action and I don't have any deliquent bills.

On December 12th 2011 at 10:44 a.m. I received a voicemail in which it was """YES EVERYONE""" AS YOU ALL HAVE JUST DESCRIBED ABOVE { a very strong accent of a Pakistan/Indian man } left me the message that said AN INDIVIDUAL WHIM I DO KNOW AND AM HAVEING VERY BAD ISSUES WITH HAS RECENETLY TAKEN OUT A LOAN AND NAMED ME AS THE PRIMARY TO WHICH MAKES ME RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT OF THAT LOAN BECAUSE HE NEVER PAID IT BACK !!!!!! I WAS IN AWWW AND THEN THE CALLER WHOS NAME HE SAID WAS JOHN PATRICK HE THEN SAID THAT IT IS NOW CONSIDERED A FEDERAL CASE AND IM COMMITTING FRAUD. THE NUMBERS THEY LEFT CANNOT BE CALLED INTO. THEY CALLED FROM {347-121-2121}... IM VERY MUCH SO IF POSSIBLE TRYING TO GET THEIR INFO AND OBTAINING AN ATTORNEY TO SUE THEM FOR HARRASMENT BECAUSE THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THEY'E CALLED ME..... LAST YEAR during the summer the same man called me and threatened the same info except he said I myself took out the loan and which i did not. then this JON told me the POLICE WAS COMEING TO ARREST ME AND I WOULD SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE IN JAIL. / NOW THIS IS VERY SCARY TO ME BECAUSE I AM A DISABLED YOUNG WOMAN THAT SO CANT GET THEM TO STOP CALLING ME. Got my scam call voice mail today, saying all of the same things that are being said to others.

Got a message from this phone number. caller ID showed 347-269-0834, The number that he left to return the call to was 347-671-0350.

Yeah - I got the exact same scam call this morning from PCS. It wasn't even my SSN. Be careful!

These punks have been harassing my fiancee all morning long. They claim to be with PCS debt collection saying that Michelle has 24 hours to resolve an outstanding debt with their client. They would not discuss who that client was, the amount needed, nor would they give any information about their company as far as mailing address, legal license numbers, or anything. What's worse, every time we hung up with them they called us right back, usually calling us ***hole or telling us to **** off. Very unprofessional.

But, long story short, don't buy what these morons say. The moment you give them your bank account information, you're more or less screwed.

I too have been getting calls from this number 3472690834 from a man with a heavy accent named Mike Smith claiming to be from PCS about my ssn and a legal complaint about a payday loan I have not paid back.  I have not taken any payday loans so I know this to be fraudulent, I have applied for loans on line but never was approved.  By some means they have obtained my personal info, ssn, phone number, address and so probably by stealing it electronically(packet sniffing).  It is annoying but I am going to block the number and report them.

I'm a bill collector they called me this morning complete scam use scare tactics to get u to pay a debt they don't own!!! My advice is if u get a call from the Indian guy with the name Jon hang up do not pay they there a scam don't bother recording there calls there untracable but if u can locate them that def $ in your pocket they violate every fdcpa and state law. YOU CAN NOT GO TO JAIL FOR PAYDAY LOANS AS A POSTDATED CHECK DOES NOT FALL UNDER A BAD CHECK THERE ALL SCAMS

My girlfriend got the call from a steven johnson with a heavy accent asking for some other dude then she said she didnt know the guy this steven johnson guy started talking very sexual to her and she gave me the phone and he said it wasnt about me he just wanted to have sex with my girlfriend because he loved her he called over and over and the number came up as 347-269-0834

These jerks called me at 6am today. Lucky for them it's Black Friday and I was awake and shopping. If it was any other morning they would be talking out of a new hole that I ripped for them.

This is nothing more than a scam. I can promise that no legit lawyer or law enforcement would call you like this. Just block the number or send them to voicemail.

I have been getting two calls a day from this number. Today I picked up and told them if they keep caling I would have him arrested for harrassment and that I know it is a scam. He didn't care and called me back and said "I f*** with you, I f*** with you." Very nasty people. I finally just hung up and didn't answer and they stopped. I blocked the number on my phone, though I am sure they will find another way to call. I am filing a complaint with the FCC so hopefully something will happen.

The problem is, I have been getting these calls since the summer, first on my cell phone and now on our house number. I contacted the local police but like you said, they don't take it seriously. I do because they have my SSN and that's not cool. I have alerted the credit bureaus and our AG's office, and also have protection on my bank account. Just keep doing what you're doing and you should be ok. Hopefully the complaints will eventually make it stop!

Threatened to rape my mother and sister and called me a ****sucker on the phone. This person has been calling for the last 6 months always saying that he is working for a lawyer and I have a lawsuit against me I reply to send me the information regarding what I owe, still haven't received any paperwork or letter from supposed "Lawyer". Time before this person called I told him I was recording the call and they immediately hung up. Same M.O. first call when you answer, no one answers so they call back then you are speaking with someone with a heavy accent that you cannot even understand what they are saying, ask to speak with someone so you can understand normally past you on to another Indian sounding person still cannot understand. Believe they are scammers always wanting you to verify SSN# but when you ask the name of company or lawyer who is trying to reach you, they never responded with that info. This time they left a message on my machine and it sounded like they said PCS for company name tried googling it so far nothing to go on. These people need to be fined they harass you and threaten you they need to be stopped.

Some Indian sounding guy called my son randomly yesterday from this number. He was threatening and rude stating he had his SS number, that my son had taken out a payday loan in July of 2010, and he had better pay off what he owed them. My son told me he attempted to get a loan last summer but was refused because he was military, but is now afraid because they may in fact have his SS number! The stories here all sound exactly like the same losers. I told him for one, legit collectors NEVER yell and curse,  and for two, if this was indeed a legitimate debt he would have heard from them long before now. This guy states that they sent emails to my son's  email address (which he did state the addy), but I know for a fact he has never received anything from them in the past....it probably went STRAIGHT TO THE SPAM FOLDER!!!  He just keeps repeating "I'll see you in court tomorrow"! and hangs up. He just called back again today and ended his call with "F*** your mom and your daughter". How does he know this info? and what should he do about it? He is getting concerned.

laugh at them, ask them what scam they are running. and if need be call them back every hour and harass them. thats what i do. tell them they need to speak english cuz you cant understand what the hell they are saying. they usually get so flustered they hang up on you and dont call back anymore. good luck

They are just all about intimidation, if you stand up to them and ask them what scam they are trying to run they will begin cursing at you no legit business does that.
