The second round has started with these scammers.  I use to talk to them and just give them a bunch of random statements that expose the fact that they don't know anything about this country or the laws of collection.  The jail or arrest threats are really laughable as there are US laws against arrest & imprisonment for debt collection.  When I would laugh about their threats of arrest they get flustered and have no script reply other than restate and hang up.  I grew tired of the ignorant ploy and now just block the number.  They eventually stop, but since they have no tracking system, will try the ploy again a couple years later.
You would think that the NSA would weed these guys out since they track every other type of calls that are not a threat to US security.  This is clearly a threat to Federal, State and personal security.  Why don't they put all that technology and funding to get these bad guys instead of gathering information on law abiding US citizens?

Idk who number this belongs to but they keep calling my boyfriends phone asking for me & saying that they have a lawsuit case against me . I honestly feel that it was a prank call but it sounded so real but i know it$ not true . Im only 19 yrs old i have never done anything of that nature that would lead to this . I would just like for whoever it is to leave me and my boyfriend alone and also everyone else . Thanks and may you all be blessed .

RECEIVED CALL FROM THIS NUMBER LEFT ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE STATED THAT THIS WAS A LEGAL MATTER AND IF I DID NOT CALL BACK I WOULD BE ISSUED A DOCUMENT TO APPEAR IN COURT WHICH WOULD BE ATTACHED TO MY NAME AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.
FROM A PERSON NAMED KEVIN WHICH SOUNDED LIKE HE WAS FROM INDIA.

I THEN CALLED THE NUMBER AND ASK TP SPEAK WITH KEVIN. HR THEN  GOT ON THE PHONE AND STATED I OWED FOR A PAY DAY LOAN. I ASKED HIM TO EMAIL ME A LETTER STATING THE COMPANY NAME,ADDRESS, BANK INFO. WHEN I RECEIVED THE EMAIL THE COMPANY NAME WAS THERE CALLED PCS BUT NO ADDRESS OR DATE WHEN THIS OCCURED. I CALLED BACK AND WHEN I ASKED FOR THAT INFO . THEN THEN THREATEN ME TO PAY. I THEN ADVISED HIM IT WAS ILLEGAL TO COLLECT ON PAYDAY LOANS IN NEW YORK AND THEN HE TOLD ME TO SHUT UP AND THEN HE HUNG -UP. I CALLED HIM BACK AND A FEMALE ANSWERWED AND SHE SOUNDED LIKE SHE WAS FROM INDIA ANS STATED IT WAS THE WRONG NUMBER.

This creep keeps calling my work saying he is Officer Ronnie Jackson who can barely speak english. He has gotten very rude with me and my employer. Somthing really needs to be done to stop this sort of thing. We are all victims here to this harrassment!!! It needs to stop right now, I find it hard to believe that no one is willing to help us (the victims). Something needs to be done to stop it!!!!

I got a call from some guy with a very bad indian accent stating his name Johnny Blue...stating he was clling to collect on a old payday loan that I have never had...called like 20 times a day

Several different numbers have been calling me nonstop since Memorial day morning, all same Muslim/Indian guy demanding my info - including social security number! Finally left me a message with 347-286-7145 as their return number so I know who all the numbers really belong too... We needs to dronestrike all of them!

Ronny Jackson with a thick Indian accent keeps calling my place of work!!! Claims to be from a law firm, what a rip, you know it's a lie... he keeps changing his name too, Ron White, Pete Brown, psh yeah right! Caller ID says 911-54-346-547-68

I received a call from this number for an employee and it was a thick I Indian accent with the name of Mark Johnson (I doubt it). He said he needed a call back due to a legal issue. I could not understand the company name he was trying to say.

calls my work (indian accent)  with an american name Jeff Williams  saying i had taken out a payday loan and never intended to pay it back,  states he is with a lawyer's offce and is going to have the police come arrest me  etc.

look up your states consumer protection laws --- keep repeating them to him when he calls you - if they don't stop calling your work - at least in the state i work - it can render their collections uncollectible.

check out your states consumer protection laws & report him - keep repeating the law to him - keep reporting him

ronnie jackson - 347-286-7145 called me - said he was going to talk to me about my credit and how it is affected - and if i don't call him back immediately upon getting his call - i will surely go to prison.......repeated three times - that i would be surely going to prison if i didn't call him back

This guy called my job.

How do I stop these calls?  Some guy identifying himself as Peter Brown called threatening me at work, threatening me with legal action.  Calling my local police department will do no good.

Someone with an accent identified himself as Officer Shawn Marshall who works for the legal department of New York.  This sounds like a scam.  If you do any payday loans over the internet or don't do any, then your information is then scattered out all over the place.

caller called my job stated i told him not to call at work. he stated that i owe them money and i better get an attornery. I told him i diddi't have and advance loan with them

I work for a large coproration at the switchboard. This phone number has been blowing up the phones with calls. It is a middle-eastern man, he has identified himself as Alan Gibson. (rrrigggght). He has also claimed that he is some type of "officer". He was looking for a woman who works here, and has made many physical threats to us (the operators) answering the phone. His language gets very fowl, and he laughs and says he's going to continue to call until he speaks with the person he's looking for. I'm assuming it is the same scam everyone else is talking about here, some payday loan type deal. The only thing that seemed to cease the calls a little was when I told him I was going to contact FBI. any other suggestions?

This same number 347-286-7145 with the same name Kevin Sparks called my job and left a message on my dept main line. I have no clue on what or who this is. I know I haven't done anything fraudulent, this is pretty scary for someone to get your name and work number. I really would like to know whose behind this and do what I can to stop this.

Strong middle eastern accent, threatening to press legal charges against for theft of a credit line from what sounds like a pay-day loan company. I have asked him to send some documentation. He has cited the last digits of my social security to me.

I have never knowingly taken a credit line out from a pay-day company so either somebody has done this on my behalf or this is a scam. I am going to guess that it is a scam.

I had the same situation as a lot of people , the idiot has an india accent and uses an American name, he called me from 347-286-7145 and stated there was litigation against my ss# and a bunch of other crap, I called the attorney general's office and the FBI and they said it has happened a lot, I wouldn't care but the idiots called my work 35 times in a half an hour after I called them and threatened them. there has to be something that can be done to stop these certain individuals using this scam

I am getting calls from this number at work at the same time everyday. If I answer and hang up they call back until they get someone. I made the mistake of talking to the idiot with a heavy Indian/ Pakistani accent asking him for his address and he refused. I told him he needs to speak with my lawyer, he refused. I wasted about 20 minutes of my life talking to this idiot. I wish these calls would stop, it's stressful enough at work now this adds 100% more stress!! How do I get these calls to STOP!???

Someone called me today and claiming calling from a law office that I owe money which I don't. Beware of middle eastern people or Indian accent. They're scammers and FBI already put someone in jail. Don't answer and get their number and block it.

Got a call at work today from 347-286-7145 the person's name was James Carter from PCS.  Said I owed a payday loan company called Cash Advance America from 2010.  Said they put it in my Suntrust account, I do bank with Suntrust, but in 2010 I was banking with BB&T.  Wouldn't send me any paperwork or call me at my home or cell number.  He said I have three charges against me.  Obviously this is fraud.  Dont give them any personal information.

Received a phone call from this number statng that I have a legal suit against me that they will come to my place of employement to serve me and collect what I owe.   The caller was from a forgein man and have NO CLUE where this s coming from and could not understand him.  He's calling my cell phone.  If I relly owed something, one would think that they would call my home phone.
