the real number is magic jack. untraceable. I blocked it from my phone but they still call twice a week, every week (Verizon online shows all incoming calls, blocked or not...these do not get past it so my phone never rings, but they still call)

An 'afra-Amer' sounding woman (I could just tell) called. My SS# is being sued. I laughed so hard I almost $hit! Folks this is ANOTHER criminal krack head scammer. Report to the FTC!! The caller ID says 347-298-5411, yet she say to call 855-366-5231. She's so brain dead she don't realize her REAL # is showing!!!

Just received a call from these people what is wrong with them ? I am having issues and this almost set me over the edge I called my fiancee and told him what was going on and he said NO don't call its a scam I heard about on tv .... OMG I was in tears shame on these people !

Is this real?? I got a call saying the same thing but they hung up before they could finish their message

This company may be spoofed.   Or not.   Supposedly located in Menifee Ca. 92584.   Google Earth street view  shows a mall.
Could be just another Mall Rat/Kitchen-table scammer working out of a rented mail-box.

Called showed as UPS on caller id. A woman asked if someone would be home to receive some documents and proceeded to tell me that my wife was being sued and gave me  a number to call 855-366-5231. She said we would be served twice and if no response, a judge would issue a judgement against us

Someone by the same name called a very, very old #.  Sounded very friendly, like an old friend.  Trying to fool anyone answering the call to give out any personal information.  I bet her name isn't even Jennifer.  Nobody should offer any personal information to these crooks.  Don't ever verify a single number of your SSN or addresses etc.

They get your information via hackers, crooked websites, and if you've applied for a loan online.  It's actually scary how easy it is to get someone's information.

The same women has attempted to scam me three different times so far. The first mistake she made was saying I have a legal claim filled against me 2nd she did not even have my legal name. But all you have to say is this is a scam! It is all over the Internet and of of course she hangs up!

I also check the statute of limitations for debt collections in Calif where they called from it is 4 years and in my home state it is 5 years I wish I knew this before verifying my info with them. now they know it is correct and can share the info with other scammers still glad I did not give out my credit card info. the person who called even told me a story of a woman who was fearful of them being scammers and offered me an opportunity to talk to his supervisor several times. How do people like this get so much info about you. I know my address is listed on the net in several ares as I do own a business but my social is not on public display. I did have an account with sprint many years ago but as far as I know it was already paid in full.

I got a call from first 347-298-5411 saying I was being sued and needed to contact R & J consulting they gave me a case number of BR2374 and told me to call 855-366-5231 when I called they verified info including my current and last 3 address and knew the first 5 of my social after I told them the last 4. they said sprint was suing me for a debt for 2002. said they sent me letters that I never received. but when they asked for my credit card to pay the debt I told them I would not do that over the phone. I googled their name and then their address their website looks good but the address is for a UPS store. tried calling the number on their website and it does not receive incoming calls. check BBB under their name and found 5 complaints and finally found this site and others reporting them as a scam. Thank goodness for the internet and sites like this and thank goodness I did not give them my credit card info. Ripoffs do seem to be getting more sophisticated these days. sounding so official and real. Never give a credit card on the phone is my motto. and always check up on who is calling you before allowing yourself to be taken to the proverbial cleaners.

The caller left a VM stating their name was something i forgot now, in the VM she stated that I had better return their call within the hour and she would give me 3 hours to call 855 366 5231, so they could serve papers on me at either my home or place of employment.  The state of NC does not use process servers, they use the Sheriff department. and I dont think this company is going to use the Sheriff to bring me some kind of bogus notice.

I noticed something on my credit report about a year ago from a collection company.  I called because it just appeared for no reason.  I called the number associated with it and was told they purchased a collection of mine from Sprint. I explained that my sprint bill was current and that they must have the incorrect person.  She told me the last 4 of my ssn and said it was for sure me. I again explained how my bills were current, what was the number on the account they had, hoping to gather some info from her. She gave me a phone number of my old home phone. I said SPRINT HOME PHONE... she said yes,  I closed my home phone number over 15 years ago. and my bill was current. She said the balance was $47.xx and that with fees and penalties the bill was now $1200 and some odd numbers..  I was like you mean to tell me that you have purchased an old collection on an account that was closed over 15 years ago. Good luck collecting and I was going to forward their info the the NC State attorney General if they did not remove the negative information from my credit report.  I followed up with a certified letter and imagine that, it disappeared. For some reason IM thinking this is the same losers that have bought this from the other suckers.. more than 15 years old. OMG.. Really!??!!  well good luck, im waiting with a bag of ammunition.

This is got to be a joke.....your call is similar to mine.  She stated by name and ask that I must call this number 855-366-5231 to identify myself in this civil matter; otherwise I will be served. Some people don't have anything better to do, but create madness and disturbance in people life.  THIS GOT TO STOP.

They called my house and said a sheriff's deputy was on the way to my house to serve me with papers in 1 hour if I did not call 1-855-366-5231 which is R&J Consulting Company. They give me a file #. I call this R&J and they say they are a law firm but they cannot open my file. It is corrupted. They ask me if they can call me back in 20 minutes and then they can tell me what I need to know to resolve my problem. I asked them who the other people were and they said they were a process serving firm. I live in FL. Why would a process server in NY be calling me? I think it is a scam. I will post more if I ever get a call back from this R&J place.

They call me several weeks ago from U.P.S then hung up several times. Then When I picked up last week they ask me was I home so they can serve you some papers to come to my house. The lady said she need to know if I'm in the house so she can schedule U.P.S to come to my house. Today she called 347 298 5411 telling me I'm being serve about compliant against me and to call the lawyer so I can go to court. Sounds like a scam.

Received a call from 347-298-5411  demanding money because " my dad missed jury duty" Girl's name is Destiny Griffin , then another call from a Michael Riley. we are sending a sheriff to your house unless you pay us.
told us to call 855-366-5231. I know this is total B.S. since i work for an attorney.

Received a call from Jennifer, at this number. She said there is a complaint against me and she's unsure whether its civil or criminal. She said She doesn't have access to that information because they need my social security number. She told me I need to call 1-888-283-5896 and was given a six digit file # to refer to. Jennifer started speaking very quickly at this point and I tried asking twice but then ended up screaming into the phone for her to slow down and speak normally! She said something like, "If they don't hear from you within that time frame then they open the case and start the legal proceedings." I mean, total b***s***, right? I laughed after she said that and just replied "Riiiiiight."  I Googled that 888 number too and it had the same complaints as this number. Also, Jennifer stated that she workes for "United SMB Processing Co." She also told me the purpose of her company is to notify the people before it goes to court. I'm thankful there are forums where uninformed people can be educated about the dishonesty and scam artists that are out there. I was going to call the number whebtave be but after looking but hem both up, there's no way in hell.

Sounded confused then asked me if there was anyone that could accept a legal document for my mother, needless to say my mother has been deceased for years nice try idiots!!

Got a phone call from this number. No message left.

They keep calling me too so I called back and get a message that the magic jack customer is not available and leave a msg. but mailbox is full (magic jack is untraceable) pretty sure this is a scam. Don't give out any info!
