My neighbor fell for it. She gave the scammer access to her computer and paid for the "service". I found out about a month later when she told me how much faster her computer was running. She spent the next day changing the numbers on all of her bank accounts.
She took her tower to a local computer repair place. The only problem they found was that her anti-malware had been turned off. She replaced her tower anyway. Better safe than sorry.

They think if they throw enough fake reviews around, some of them will stick - doesn't work that way here!

Can't believe what some of these shills will try. Do they think we're all stupid?

Nice try Shill, but not happening! Cold calls are illegal to begin with. And no one can tell what someone else's computer is doing and even Microsoft aka Windows web sites has this on their sites that these calls are scams..
Now back to your broom in the boiler room, its that way and don't let the door hit you on your way out --->

I was also contacted by phone earlier from a guy who claimed to work for ?I Fix?, an IT tech. I asked him his name and he told me Michael. I asked for his company?s phone number and he gave me 347-305-7007. I told him I was going to hang up and call that phone number back. When I did, he answered. Again he wanted me to get on the computer and let him walk me through correcting these errors. I told him to send an email, soon I received an email with some procedures when I follow it and I checked my computer problems and then I called him and thanks for the assistance and assurance provided by Michael in a friendly and helpful manner. Hope to hear from him again.

Hi, I got call from from 347-305-7007, these guys are real technicians and help me fixing my useless computer. Mr.Tom was not only extremely knowledgeable about systems; he was one of the best examples of excellent customer service we have ever experienced. He spent the time to correctly analyze the problems and worked hard at resolving them. We felt confident that he would not only fix the mess on the computer but also that he would not rush just to get the job done.
