Got a call form 347-312-5917, and as soon as I told him that the person he wanted could not come to the phone he hung up the phone.

A little hard sell, but the products work GREAT and I'll use them again. They have several offices (head office in Boston) and items come the next day-ALWAYS......seem to be getting a bad rap here. Thats nonsense. They're good and they know their business well.

Just got a call from these scammers 5 minutes ago. Ditto all the above comments. LCD picture frame was offered free as well. Typically I say we cannot accept free gifts and that is when I get hung up on every time. Annoying.

Just got a call this morning from these guys.  I know their sales pitch better than they do at this point.

- Referred to you as the purchaser of IT supplies.
- Just release a new catalog that I'm sending out to you along with a
 free gift (Last time an MP3 player, today an LCD picture frame)
- Insert joke about not leaving it in the shower or leaving the pictures
 from the last Christmas party on it.
- Highlight these two products that they just released, being the printer
 cleaning sheets and the LCD Monitor wipes.
- Insist that they are superior in every way to wipes that are on the
 market for 1/100th the cost due to a special formula.
- Badger you by cutting down the number of wipes that
 you have to order down to almost nothing while still charging more than
 a full canister of regular market wipes.
- Insult you if you tell them no and hang up.
- Call back in 6 months to a year claiming to be another company.
- Repeat process.

I've been working in my position her as IT Manager for almost 10 years and have gotten 6 - 7 calls from them usually from the same nasally voiced guy.

This time I told the guy that his sale pitch sounded a lot like one that I had heard last year from some scam artists.  He quickly got in an insult about doing something with an iron pipe and then hung up.

i get a call from these clowns about every 6 months.  i can tell it's them right off the bat from their cheesy opening lines.  its really pathetic

Jeff Allens from NY called wanting me to buy 1000 printer wipes at 3.59 each - tried to talk me down to 100 then 50 then 25 all while mentioning a free mp3 player he would send with a catalog.

I told him I wasn't interested in spending any money and he said "well that won't feed my kids tonight" and hung up.

No number listed or I would have tried to complain to a head office which probably doesn't exist.

Just got a call from this guy. He introduced himslef as Jeff from "worldwide computer care" and asked how I am, the tone of my 1-word reply ("fine") let him know that I was not thrilled with a cold-call. He then said "Well you sound good. How's the weather up there?". I asked where he got my number and said "On the back of a matchbox!" & hung up.
You can't call back on the number he uses.
This jack*** should be shut down.

Asked for a person, when I said that that person could not come to the phone, he hung up!  Rude.

world wide computer maintenance, soon as he heard he was talking to the CIO he slammed the phone down.  very disrespectful. This is the reason busy people now screen their calls  making it harder for professionals to make contact.

Have had repeated calls from these guys asking to sell computer supplies (World Wide Computer Corporation or something similar). They get quite persistent in asking if I am the one responsible for purchasing computer equipment, if I try to redirect, they either just hang up or get nasty, say something obscene and then hang up.

Sure do we wish i could call them back.

World-wide computer and printer supplies. Seems to be of questionable reputation. called me twice in last few months for printer cleaning papers. Tried to get be to buy 1000 sheets without a PO and under an "understanding". think not. from New York.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number.  When I answered, the guy knew my name and started chatting me up about where I live.  I interrupted him to ask what the call was about and he immediately hung up.  Seems like a scammer just phishing for a sucker.
