Got a text saying I won a $1000.00 gift card from BestBuy

Just to be on the safe side, check your phone bill for unauthorised transactions. Also, read these posts from whocallsme-mine for 447773744001, and DieZel's from 2280477042 (he was robbed of $3000). Some Nigerian scams offer prizes, and use premium-rate SMS so almost everybody who receives the message gets scammed, whether they want to participate or not. This company might be doing the same thing.

You're right-it's a scam. They ask for money from you then disappear. There is no prize.

I just got a txt from this number saying I won $1000 from Best Buy and to go to a certain website to claim it.  I am really skeptical about it.  It's probably some sort of scam or advertisement.
