called our place of business and hung up i called the # back and was put on hold to christmas music scam!!!!

I too repeatedly get calls from this number. my number is unlisted and blocked to outside calls. I am not a business, my private residence and they keep calling repeatedly, daily, no one ever answers when I pick up the phone. I return the call and have to listen to a horrible recording of christmas music and still no one is there. How do I get them to quit harrassing me????

I received a call from them. He told my receptionist he was calling regarding a payment that had not been received. It was a fellow with heavy foreign accent who wanted me to pay $5 per month for them to advertise our business in the US Directory.  I told them "no" and asked that my number be placed on the Do Not Call List.  He said they do not have a  "DNCL" and hung up.

I did not answer. They did not leave a message. Thanks for the posts everyone.

I too received a phone call from this number, and returned the call. To sit on hold for 2 minutes before I realized this is a scam line. Work is a foreign word in all languages. Scamming is the new dot com. Watch who's calling, it could be a Nigerian. What puzzles me is most phone carriers know this is happening and yet do not shut down the line. Are they getting kick-backs from these scammers?  I know they get their fees for long distance and the hook-up for overseas calls. Is that more important than to protect the consumer? Shame on the phone carriers for not taking action.

Yes, some Asian or Indian operation. They call businesses. Some dumb US DIrectory. I challenged on all of their lies. They will not talk but the 'Owner' and refused to say what they want. Finally broke down with all my talk and started yelling and cursing. Ha ha. Then they called back, with another Asian guy wanting to continue the 'fight'!!! How freaking rude and annoying. Told them we have recorded and traced their operation even internationally and we are coming in to get them!

I asked the caller who it is several times and he told me to shut the f****up and then started to rant endless curses,. Called the number and was put on musical hold.

I also answered "Law Offices" and they immediately hung up!

called our office today (legal office) and as soon as they heard the words "law office" hung up.

I mean, how rude!

Calls once a day - leaves no message. I do not pick up. This is coming in on my business phone line.

Has called several times lately, but this time I picked up.  Someone with a heavy Asian accent asked if I was authorized to make changes to our "yellow" listings.  Wanted to "help" us with making our website more visible in online searches.  Was really having trouble with his script, probably a new employee with a limited grasp of English.  

Obviously a cramming operation, who will try to get you to agree to one thing and then start billing you through the phone company for something else entirely.  Whatever you do, don't say the word "yes" to them - they will record it and use it to falsify evidence that you agreed to their "services".
