Came up as wireless caller, hung up when answering machine picked up.

Caller ID said Wireless caller.  Never leaves a message

Call received from this number.  There was a delay before someone spoke, showing that a computer was making a connection after verifying I had picked up.  The man who came on immediately launched into a scam spiel on the Fire Fighters and Paramedics Association.  There is such an organization BUT it is listed as one of America's worst charities.  The charity is simply a front for a scam.  Google it and read the scam story if you'd like to have your eyes opened.

The caller is a scammer from Click4Support.  They want to check if your number is still active and if you're home.  They act as phony Microsoft, Apple and Facebook support.  All with Indian accents.  Do not answer the phone or call back.

Caller ID said "Wireless Caller". Left a message saying they were from the "" Fire fighters and Paramedics Association". He spoke with a New York City accent and wanted money. This is a scam. There is no such organization.

Weird caller ID, no answer, probably cost me a charge on my phone bill for all I know.

   Got a call from the same # and CID. I guess either we ALL know this person (Yeah, .... right) or it's from a SCAMMING TELEMARKETER! Anyone wanna takes bets on which it is? Yeah, me too. So, .... I'm gonna block them just on principal, I don't know anyone in that Whole area code.
  The internet info.  shows that this is a # that's been used for many "funding group scams" over at least the past 5 years. The best thing is to just hang up on this caller without saying A SINGLE THING! They Are Scammers And will only steal Your $$$ !

Side note:
~ Lets petition 800notes.com to add a new "Call Type" to this board called, "SCAMMER". I think they should have a choice called, "$hit Head Annoyance Caller", but I don't think they would add that for us to use. There would be way tooooo many of us choosing that type.  ........................... Just a thought.

Received phone late afternoon.  Talking at a rapid rate of speed. Telling me of my appt. and if I didn't show up would charge my acct. traced phone call to Staten Island NY. When I called back answering machine said message list was full.

Called my house phone on 5/28/14 at 5:05 pm and it comes up on my caller ID as "UNKNOWN NAME" they left a voice mail saying nothing and you can hear the person hang up the phone.

Calls a few times. Finally answered. They stayed quite and hing up

STOP-STOP-STOP...anyone who doesn't identify himself is a loser in my book. This caller calls repeatedly and lets the phone ring an inordinate number of times! STOP-STOP-STOP

Letting my phone ring 15 times is excessive! I am not well and this is very disturbing to me. When I call the number back, I get an answering machine which informs me that there is not room left to accept messages. I'll bet there isn't!

The caller is actually from Staten Island, NY. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

No answer - As someone else notes, just says NEW YORK NY on caller ID.

Received a call, and there was no one on the other end. No message either. Several times it has happened, while athome and while out. Never a message. The caller ID displays 'NEW YORK NY'  with no other description.
