I use BancorpSouth and called my local branch. They confirmed it's a scam.

Just got off the phone with Bancorp South and they are aware of the problem and they have the phone number that the calls are coming from.

I received the same message from that phone number and then a call from a private number saying about my visa card and my mastercard neither of which I have. I am going to contact Bancorp South and ask them if they know anything about it

I can confirm this, got the same text urging me to call the same number. Am not a customer of bancorp south, so this is obviously rather fishy.

Got a random text message telling me to call this number saying it was from Bancorp South.  I don't have a Bancorp South account.  Did some research and found out it could be a phishing scam.  Beware
