received same type of call from 347-418-0481 saying that we had signed up in 2009 for a free year (they gave it to us free) and gave us a 2nd year. I told her I didn't authorize anything and she told me I had back in 2009 and expires on the 10th of this month.  She asked if she should send the bill to the address on file or a po box.  I told her you're not sending a bill anywhere because I never authorized anything. She got mad and said "Oh yes, you do owe for an invoice." (didn't tell me how much)  I didn't give her a chance as I hung up on her once I told her she wasn't sending anything.

Yes, I just received a call from these people telling me I authorized a year free (in 2009) and a year paid? I have on file of all my advertising commitments and it wasn't them. She got nasty when I started yelling at her that I never authorized any paid advertsing with thier company and had no signed paper work and I never heard of them before. Some yellow page online deal. Oh and she said I got a whopping 400 hits (over two years???) from their page! Where can we report these scam artists?

Just received a call from this number.  We have never taken out an ad with Yellow Pages before, no need to.  I told her we wanted to close the account, then she wanted to confirm the address then she said that we owed $599.95 for the previous ad. Told her we never took out or agreed to an ad with Yellow Pages.  BEWARE!!!!  Cannot call number back - does not ring.  If this were a business you should be able to call them back. Feel very uneasy about this call.

also received a call from 347-418-0481 today claiming we owe $521 for a yellow page ad which we supposedly agreed to in 2009. The caller went on to say the first year was free and she wanted to know if we wished to continue the ad, we told her we had not ever agreed to a yellow page ad. She said ok and she would close out the invoice she just needed to send us the invoice for $521. We told her we didn't owe them anything. A little later we tried to call the number back and it does not accept calls. This apparently is a scam.

Ok, this is totally a scam!!  We've received numerous calls from this women trying to tell us that we have an add with yellow pages online and needs permission to continue the service or an address to send the invoice to.  Totally bogus!!!!  Have never, NEVER taken out an add with yellow pages. Besides which, general listings with yellow pages are FREE. When questioned regarding the supposed add, the information they give is basic information anyone can acquire easily in phone books etc..  They are rude, nasty and refuse to give you contact information!  Beware!  We've contacted the Yellow Pages and have been told that they never contact people in this manner. We have reported this # to the attourney general, better business etc..

Ditto to Nola & ND....Caller said the SAME thing to me.  I suppose if you agree to let them invoice you then they would be money ahead!! SCAM!!!!  DO NOT AGREE TO ANYTHING WITH THEM!!!

She did actually speak english though with no accent. What a scammer.

A very forceful and rude older woman called me from this number claiming to be from the Yellow Pages Online Company.  She said that we accepted a free listing 2 years ago and she was calling to collect on last year's bill.  All B.S.  I am the only person in my company who can authorize ad purchases and we don't pay to advertise in the Yellow Pages.  Watch out, they lie and they are trying to steal from you!!!

Got 1 call today. When I answered they hung up.

Answered the call wanted to talk to the owner of the business and said not in, asked if it was a sales call and to be taken off the list and was told it's wasn't....sounds like crap to me, number is now going on my do not answer list

This number calls several times a day and leaves no message.  When I call them there is no answer.  Sounds like alot of other complaints.. I just dealt with Yellowbook scam through work and smells the same to me.

I've also recieved multiple calls over the last few day's with no message and unable to connect upon return call.

When people like this call I act like the little old lady that is hard of hearing. Try to keep them on the phone as long as possible having them keep repeating them self because can't hear. Tell them to hold on a minute while I get credit card and lay down phone. I turn it into a game.

Don't fall for this scam.  They tried to use this scam on me saying I had done business with them and I owed them 599.00.  I have never and will never advertise in Yellowbook.

Just got this call 5 minutes ago.  Some woman says she is from yellowbook (we do not have any agreement of any sort with yellowbook) and we owe them $599.00 within 30 days.  I said oh yeah?...We never agreed or signed anything with you or this company so we will sue you for harassing us!  She quickly hung up on me!  Not sure if this is yellowbook....but it sure smells like a scam!

3-4 calls daily, Driving me up the wall, Wish i could reach thru the phone and strangle them. Never anyone on the line, answer, they hang up.

We recieve at least  one sometimes two calls a day. Reported to National  no call number.  When the phone is answered there is nothing there.

This number calls often, usually in the afternoon, sometimes more than once a day.  Usually no one is there and it disconnects after a while.  Sometimes I put it on speaker and leave it connected.  Once in a while someone who barely speaks English comes on the line and says I  have to verify my address becasue we owe them $.   Yeah, right.

I just recieved a call from these a-holes! extremely rude!! The IGNORANT "lady" claims she was NOT a salesperson but due to her tone of voice when I sent her to our ficticious Rep. proved otherwise!

This number is driving me crazy!! 3 &4 calls per day! Help
