My dad recieved a phone call from this same numnber, but when he  kept saying hello, the man mumbled something and huing up.
this is the same phone number that people are recieving phone calls from a man who asks for them to confirm their bank account

I had the same phone call from a strange sounding voice  from New York.  He gave me information about Name, phone number and address.  He wanted the name of the bank I did business.  I said NO, that was privilaged information.  He said something I couldn't understand and I hung up the phone.  I dialed the phone number that the call came from and was told that the phone was temporarily out of service.

They called me at 5:13 PM today, man with heavy accent, said he wanted to send me a card for health coverage.  He had my name,, address and phone number, asked me to verity it which I did.  I asked where he was calling from and he said "Miami, Florida".  Then he asked for the name of my bank to which I replied, "no way".  I hung up.  He didn't call back.

This is definately a scam. The caller says that need a bank account number to mail out a medical card. Obviously, one has nothing to do with the other. It is a scam.

They are still at it as of yestday. Same thing, wanted bank account number to mail out medical card. Can't see what a bank account number has to do with mailing a card! Obviously a scam and not a very good one.

Received a call from 347-418-8487 wanting my mother to confirm her bank account which she did.  We reported it to her bank and they put on a fraud alert.

This number called someone i know and was asking her to verify her checking acct number.  When she tried calling it back the number was no good.  I need info on whos calln and why they need her acct number.  Sounds fishy to me!!!

I just had the same experience as described above.

Men calling with a heavy accent claiming they need to send my health information in the mail to me. But wanted me to confirm the end of my bank account numbers. They had the first few numbers but wanted to confirm the rest from myself. When I said no they insisted on me talking to a "supervisor" and he said the samething. Could tell it was a scam but they did have some of my personal information.
