This man name Austin jones had sent me an email talking about legal case against my name and I need to call him back at that number. And I email him back and ask him to email me the case file to me so I can see what's going on and he going tell me thro email that the federal authories had told him not to disclose the case. I dealt with this man in the pass now all of a sudden he emailing me out the blue talking about a legal case and if i don't call him ASAP i will be in jail now that's threatening someone and you don't even know what case it is this people need to be stop for real trying to scamm people out of money. Austin jones whoever he is need to stop and put away times are already hard and he trying to get money from people. I tell anyone if a man name Austin jones call you report him so we can stop these people

Received a threatening call but barely able to hear what they were saying.  Heavy accent. Says if I do not call them back they will be pressing charges against me.

These scumbag crooks got $100 from me before I realized what was going on . They are pretty slick . I paid them in a walmart prepaid card so thankfully they don't have access to my accounts . I called the police and filed a report but I'm not optimistic about getting my $ back . They will get caught and eventually dragged from their foreign rat's nest . Karma will get them .

I have been getting the same calls, saying I owe money for a loan that never took place. He says he is calling from Anderson's Law Office. He called me Monday 15 times back to back, while i was at work. I am going to notify the Attorney General as well.

A heavily accented man called my work place from this number and when I asked what this was in reference to he refused to say.  He did say it was in my best interested to return his call when I am free to talk.

This people they keep harrasing me at my worked ,,,,I dont know these people.. We should report this to FTC...and FBI ...

Just got a call.  First one, but according to these posts, it probably won't be the last.  He says the same as above - Office Austin Jones from the Department of Financial Investigations and wants me to call back to straighten this out.It came in as an unavailable number.

I keep getting calls from this 3474278321 number.  They said my account at my bank was "outstanding."  I told them I didn't know what they were talking about (I could hardly understand them-thick accent of some kind).  I called my bank and reported this call to them.  I also called the police in my area and reported this call.  They are calling my work phone too.  It just seems like somehow these harrasment calls could be stopped.  I don't owe them anything.  I have told them they need to send everything in writing by USPS.

We are receiving calls also from a man with a foreign accent seemly from the middle east. The caller states we owe debt but is unwilling to confirm whom the debt from.

They called me at lease 10 times today.  This is getting really aggravating. I will not answer the phone.  I don't owe them a thing. I keep tell them to stop calling and they still call all day long.  They need to be stopped.

I am sick and tired of these people calling me at work.  Today they have call 5 times back to back.  It the same number that have been calling me for the past month everyday.  Sometime leaving a message stating that he is from some fraud and investigation service.  When I did answer weeks ago, I asked who do I owe and he could not tell me and stated that I need to send some money to his office in care of his name to settle this debt.  What debt???????????  I no longer answer the calls and sometime they will call right back showing they are calling from a 000 000 0000 number.  They need to be stopped.  I have better things to do at work than answer calls from some scammer.

Same EXACT scenarios... the worst ones have been at my place of employment where he yells at my employees and tells them that they are lying when they say I am not there.  And I REALLY wasn't there!  I've yelled, hung up on them, even tried speaking to a few different people because I kept saying, I CANNOT UNDERSTAND YOU!!  But I never understood ANYONE ELSE EITHER!!!

They have my mother scared to death that I'm going to be imprisoned because of SOME DEBT I DO NOT OWE!!  And as naive as my mother is, if someone says they are from the gov't and an officer... then by golly they HAVE to be!! :-((

The call my work number 12 times in a row today August 12, 2011at 10:10am.   Four times the number listed as 0000000000.I did not answer because I have their number 347-472-8321 on my list as SCAM.  Left no message. They need to stop calling my job with this bull.  I do not owe themany thing. I have more important things to do than argue on the phone about a loan I know nothing about.

This number has called me over 50 times in the last 2 days!  He has a thick accent and says hes with some credit agency.  Told me i was given a loan on my debit card, which my statement clearly showed was never deposited and said they were sueing me for fraud.  He continues to call back to back.... this is harrassment!

They call claiming they are "Alex Johnson" or "Sean Anderson" an "officer of the law" with some sort of indian accent and that there will be police officers coming to arrest me with all these bogus charges against me on a phony payday loan that I supposedly had... they even had names of friends that I have previously used as referrences on other things & my ssn. They've even called me back after I hang up calling me a "b*tch" and "stupid lady... that's all you are is a stupid worthless lady" and one even said "i will track you down and kick your a**" I called the FTC and our state's Attorney General and they both said it's a scam and the only thing I can do is change my number or hang up as soon as I realize it's them and not to give them money. They also gave me a list of information that would help determine the difference between a real debt collector and a scammer. A debt collector HAS to send you a written notification with in 5 business days of the first contact. Also, a debt collecting agency and officer CANNOT make ANY sort of threats against you whatsoever... not even to garnish wages. If they do so and it is reported, they can receive fines starting at $10,000. My husband is in the military so we can't just change our phone numbers, there are way too many people we would have to notify, so we contacted our cell phone providers and downloaded a phone number blocking program and add those numbers to the list as they call. They stop calling for a while but eventually find a number that isn't on the list.

These people called my number and called them back and a person with an Indian accent named "William" answered the phone.  I asked to speak to a supervisor and "William" said that they didn't have a supervisor present at the time.  I asked these people why they are calling me, and they told me that I owed some money to payday loan that was deposited back in February.  So I checked my bank statements and didnt find any money deposited from any company... So I knew that these people are scammers.  I called them back after I have checked my bank statements and to let them know that I know that they are scammers and they will not get any money from me.  Then "William" started calling me names such as "stupid and idiot and all I know is a "f*ck business" (i don't even know what that mean)... If these people are working for a "real company" then they would not swear on their customers... If you have any info on how to report these people please let me know. Thanks!!

I have received many calls from this number. The guy says his name is Dave Thomas from Financial Investigations and that they have a suit against me, and if i don't call him back their will be charges against by ss #. He called me a few a year ago too. Told him i reported him to the local police and the state attorney's office. They stop calling for awhile, but then they start calling again. Please report them!!!!
