Same Wal-Mart scam from Kristen with Savings Galore but from different number! This was from Cincinnati,Oh 513 252-2365

Response: I did not do anything. I then blocked the number on my iPhone.

They just tried calling me again.  This time the number was blocked.  It rang once and then the call was cut off.  I called the FTC Do Not Call Hotline and filed another complaint against these identity stealing scammers!

Please stop calling  me

called me on my cell, didn't leave a message. I don't answer any phone call unless I know who it is or the caller Id tells me.

Same as everyone else here. They called and I missed the call and they didn't leave a message. Have been getting a crap load of these from multiple numbers.

I don't usually answer these calls from unfamiliar numbers, but I was waiting for a return call from a company I had called.  When I answered this call 347-429-9147 from NY, NY, there wasn't anyone speaking initially.  Suddenly it comes on and says, "Thank you for calling".  So I stayed online thinking it was the return call I was waiting for - but NO - The next thing the recorded message says is, "stay on the line, you could be the winner of a $100 Walmart Card".  I instantly hung up.  Within a minute or two, I received another call from a different number 731-201-0118 (Big Sandy, TN)  I answered this call as well, because I was waiting for a return call from a company I had called.  This message was the same as the one from NY, NY - starts out by saying, "Thanks for calling".  I hung up instantly.

I don't know why these number call us and then have the audacity to say, "Thanks for calling" as though we have nothing better to do than to call them.  I don't know why there is a National Do Not Call list as it is clearly not being utilized (but then, either is our Government that we pay taxes too).  

These calls are extremely irritating and even though I have my phone set to identify callers (clearly Comcast isn't working properly either) it doesn't seem to be working.  Guess we just don't answer the call at all, unless we know exactly who is calling and we should always ask a company that says they will be calling us back, "What number will you be calling from?"  and explain that you will not answer unless the proper number is displayed in your caller id.

This sounds like a scam. They offer all sorts of vouchers and Walmart gift cards.

I also got the $100 Walmart promotional.  Got taken for my last $25 in my account.  Called the 800 number given to cancel order only to find out that although the number was connected to the real promotion no order was placed in my name.  So if you received a call from this number be fore warned or you'll be missing some money with in 48 hours.

Just got my second call in a week from 347-429-9147. Caller ID said "out of area."  Recorded female voice said, "Thank you for calling.  Please listen carefully as our menu options have changed.  You may have been selected to receive a free $100 Walmart gift card!  Press 1 to speak to a live representative to receive your free Walmart gift card." I pressed 1 and a guy said, "credit card number please."  I told him I wasn't interested in a Walmart gift card and to please place me on their internal do not call list.  He hung up.

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  The do not call list is a total joke.  Gov't ineptitude.

Scam.  Same voice recording from two other numbers (731-201-0118 and 630-375-0215) that says "thank you for calling"  and mentions a $50 Walmart gift card.

Not a tele-marketer.  It's a THIEF trying to get your credit card number!  Thieves don't have access to the "Do Not Call List".  Real companies adhere to it...thieves can't & don't. The "Do Not Call List" is working for you!!!

Called my cell phone - I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. Left no message. Very irritating that they call cell phones.

Cold called, stating I won a 100 dollar gift card from Wally World. Wanted my name, address, etc. then asked how I would pay the $2.99 S&H charge: debit or credit card? I informed them that I did not give that number out to incoming callers. The funny part: the caller (with a thick accent, possibly Indian or Phillipino, but no idea where the call actually came from) did not seem to recognize my address: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington DC. I think they terminated the call when I asked they send me a paper bill for my card number...

Just received a call on my cell. Didn't answer.

That was great!! I hope she got the real message, but some how I doubt it.
