This number has called me all day on my cell phone keep leaving me messages, stating that he is a OFFICER from the dept of Financial investagation what the ........and how do they get your cell phone number

Where do these people get your cell phone #??  This guy with a HEAVY Indian accent called me 14 times in a matter of 20 minutes...saying he was from the Department of Financial Investigations...and a case was filed in my name, and I said yeah right, by who?  And he said he couldn't discuss it on the phone...I said good, then don't call again.  The freak just kept calling back over and over, then left a voicemail that I could not understand except TELLING me to call back...sure, I'll get right on that. I know it is a scam, but I don't understand what they are trying to gain.... does anyone know who to report them to who will actually do something about it??

yesterday I got over 50 calls from this number in a 2 hour period. They leave no message. When I did answer i couldn't understand anything the person was saying.
