I just received a phone call from this number at work.  The gentleman's name is Dennis Peterson.  I looked online to find out if anyone else received a call from this number and I am glad I didn't call back.  I will however call when I get off because I am going to give Mr. Peterson a piece of my mind and it wouldn't be professional to do it at work.

I have been receiving calls form this number along with many other out of state numbers.  First time from a Steven, and now from a Mark Brown claiming to be from an attorneys office also.  They have been calling my cell phone around 20 times a day, left a few messages.  Now that I told them I know they are fake and its a scam they started calling my work number.  I called local police but not much they can do at this point, they said I'm doing everything I am supposed to.  When does it stop????  How long do they get to call my cell before I have to change my number?

Just got a call from this number which said on my caller ID it is from New York. When I picked up an Indian guy confirmed who I was then he handed the phone over to another Indian guy he started off saying my social security number is blabhblah (not sure how he got hold of it) but it was correct. then he said someone in the state of California is suing me for xx for fraud of illegal efts going into my tcf bank accounts which I have closed years ago. I knew they were scammers but I kept listening to what they had to say so he went on to say he will read me an affidavit etc he kept reading some mumbojumbo s*** and then I went off on him because I used to work at TCF and whatever pending money I owed on my account years ago was paid off last year because that debt had been sold to a third party collections agency. So basically I told him to stop b***s***ting with me and hung up. THIS IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT BELIEVE THEM OR ANSWER THEM. I do not know how they have a hold of my social but DO NOT ANSWER ANY OF THEIR QUESTIONS. DO not AGREE or say YES OR NO to anything they ask.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CALLING ME ASKING FOR INFORMATION AND WANT ME TO PAY MONEY BACK WHEN THEY DID NOT EVEN SEND ME A COLLECTION NOTICE AND THEY WANT MONEY FOR PAYDAY LOANS AND THEY ARE BIG SCAMMERS WHO WERE VERY RUDE AND TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD NOT MAIL ME ANYTHING IN THE MAIL

Just received a call stating that there is a lawsuit against my name and social security number.  I believe it is a scam!!!!  I have no recollection of any lawsuit against me for anything.

I just received several calls from this number at my job. I hung up on this guy (again, with a heavy accent) He called back and I told him I left for the day and he asked for my manager. I told him I was the manager. He gave me grief. I told him I would take a message and will give it to "me" when "I" returned. He said it was for a legal matter and that if he doesn't hear from me by tomorrow, there will be severe consequences. I don't know HOW they got my number or what they want, but I concur with the rest of the people who posted...DO NOT GIVE THEM A DIME!

I jut received a call from Sebastian Taylor from this number also, contaning the same threat. My loans are
also paid in full. These guys are unbelievable.

Yes this loster just called my phone when I hear the accent I know it's a scam I get one at once a week or every other week. Don't give them any information it's SCAM! I have any attorney they still don't care.

This man named Sebastin Taylor keeps calling my cell phone threatening me with a law suit for not paying a loan back, The loans I have taken out all are paid in full and have been!  He keeps calling my cell phone and it is pissing me off!

I got another call from this number 347-478-7341. It is the same caller using different names stating he is trying to collect a payday loan which I never had.  I also notified the police dept.  caller does not give name of company only that he works for an attorney.  My advice hang up and call your local policedpt.

A man calls me by the name sean conner at odd hours in the day and late night telling me i owe money to a loan i made 4 years ago that i have it pending on my social security and if i don't pay it right away they will arrest me n leave me in jail till i pay what i owe. They continuously tell me to give them my bank account info and my social security number to make sure I'm the right person they are speaking with they always harass my mother and husband when they answer the phone. They must be caught

same here i understand all of your concerns. They call me at least 2-3 a week . dude does heavy Indian accent and they will not give me any info. i have no clue who he is and have even asked for them to send me info on who and what they are representing and they refuse. HUGE scam. be careful, i notified my attorney and he is going to follow yo with these losers

Got a message from this number then a call back. The story is always the same. You have a lawsuit that is pending on your social security number, blah blah blah...Dude, I know I don't owe anything & that you are a scammer. This is not my first rodeo. I just hope they catch you!

Yeah they just called me and said his name was Dennis Peterson and that I owed over 1200 dollars for a payday loan that was taken out back in 2010. I never took out a payday loan in 2010 this guys is so full of crap sayin I am going to jail and he is going to send police out to get me what an idiot I am not going to give him a dime.

I just got a call from "attorney" Sabastian Taylor saying I owe $1000 dollars from a payday loan from 2009. I said I didn't do that and request something in writing. He emailed me a payment agreement form he typed up and has since called me 2 more times. He said I will have a lawsuit and possible jail time for fraud. I'm glad I read the other posts and didnt give him any money or information!!!

I told Sebastian Taylor to fax me all the info I needed. Im still waiting. He said, he is lawyer. I told him, I dont care. Send my husband to collection agency and I will pay the agency myself. He is crazy. I called the Police Station and report his call. They told us to block his number and report him to the Attorney General Office. I did. Thanks God! I did not give want he wanted.

Just received a call from this # from a so called attorney telling me I need to call him back to avoid legal action against me for monies I owe.  Wrong, I have received these type of calls before and know not to take the call and further I block the #.  Total SCAM!!!

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I just received a call from this number.  The man identified himself as Sebastian Taylor.  He said I owe money to a payday loan company.  I asked him to send something in writing to state what I owed and to whom.  I have not received anything from him.  He called back and told me I would receive the information soon via fax. Nothing.  He said I should call him back.  I will NOT be calling him back.  I can't believe these people can have so much of my private information.  It is no wonder there is so much identity theft when these people can secure my personal information so easily.  I am furious!!!!!

I got calls from this number also. They said I owe them money. Until I get proof, Im not sending them no money.

I keep getting calls from this number saying they are a payday loan  legal debt retriever, they are scammers, they even told Me they were going to send the police out, police do not come out for that, I spoke with the Sheriff's Department.

Yep, at it again. My desktop is infected with some kind of phishing virus. I don't use it anymore, but when our    
wifi is down I have to reboot the whole thing. Everytime that I do this, like about 6-12 hours go by, and some guy with a heavy accent calls me and say something about, legal matters, I'm gonna be arrested and served.
DO NOT and I mean DO NOT give them a dime. It's all a SCAM. Who knows what they do with your money once it's collected. I just wish that somehow, one way or another that this stops. I already have really bad anger issues.

Just received a call fromthis number, oh my gosh these guys are so funney. I had read the posts, above so knew they were a scam. I also work at a law firm and I know collecitons can not be done this way. This guy named Sabastion Taylor said I was going to Federal Prision if I do not pay this immediatly. Wanted all my info. When I refused he said he would send the cops to put be in jail. He then hung up on me.  Now I like a good laugh so I called them back and said I know there a scam and told them to put me on their do not call list. He wanted 100.00 payment from me to do this.  I started laughing. He then started swearing and me and said ____ you.  Again I laughed and laughed made them real mad.  If you get a call from them do not let it up set you. Its all a scam. All collections need to be done in writing.   Never ever pay a dime over the phone to any collection agency.       Also, in this country they do not have put you in jail if you can not pay your debt.    That whiy we have bankrupcy.  But if you want to hae fun give them a hard time.

well they called my house today acking for me ,i said they had the wrong number he said man she was my old girlfriend,i know they are scamers have talked with them to many times and can never tell me any thing about who and what i owe,but i have gotten message from them saying the were lawers ect ,and i just tell them if i owe you money send me a bill they said they can't do that,long story short if you can't prove i owe you than stop calling i pay my bills and never took out any kind of loan

These people are calling my daughter at work, calling her all kind of obscene names and trying to get her fired. Middle east accents. They won't give any info on who they are collecting for or how much is owed. They just want my credit card number.

These are the same as the other scam artists who call and say you owe money for loans you haven't ever had. They will threaten that you will be arrested and the police will come to your home etc.  Dont give them any money! These are mostly men with middle eastern/indian accents with crazy American names. I have actually received calls from Patrick Henry, Jason Bourne, and my personal favorite Abraham Lincoln! Do not give them any information or anything else. They call from many different numbers but they are the same payday scam company that you can read about on this site.

SCAM ARTIST KEEPS CALLING PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT & CELL PHONE 20+ TIME A DAY.  GUY USES VULGAR LANGUAGE & SOUNDS LIKE A PERVERT. HE CLAIMS HE IS WORKING WITH AN ATTORNEY'S OFFICE & WANTS  ME TO GIVE HIM MY CREDIT CARD # OVER THE PHONE. WONT GIVE ANY INFORMATION OF WHAT COMPANY OR WHAT THIS IS ABOUT. I AM REPORTING THIS PERSON & PHONE# TO MY LOCAL POLICE DEPT.
