Actually, it's the company doing the ARG for Funcom that operate this switchboard. (or use a technology similar to it) So if you have opt-in to any ARG on unfiction or somewhere else, you may be contacted by them.
I did opt-in on EternalCrusade and got called today. I did not understand it until I read this article (http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/954/v ... ame-at-PAX.html) :)

Polaris is correct. This is part of a Funcom game that people had to sign up to take part in. If you didn't sign up, it's possible that someone typo'd their phone number and ended up submitting yours by accident.
