I answered the phone and there was an indian on the other side saying that there has been criminal activity associated with my moms SS#. Now i've had these calls in the past, so i placated him and told him she would call him back. I told my mom about this and she said if the police have any question they know where she lives.

This phone number appeared only one time but the quality of the call was lousy. There was very heavy static and I could not understand the words but the call came from NYC.

I get several calls from this number every day and since it says "unknown name"  I don't answer it.  I get lots of strange call from 800 and 888 so if I don't know who it is I don't answer....but I still have to stop what I am doing and go look at the box.  I love caller ID.

Today I started receiving calls from the same number..3 so far today and there is a noise in the BG and someone saying hello, hello like they can't hear me...

I have a plan... lets all of us call every 10 minutes to insult the guy and drive him crazy...

All I want to know is how to stop getting such calls. The Do not call list is a joke and the complaints vanish in thin air. How can I stop these calls. They are calling me every 10 minutes now.

I am continually receiving phone calls, everyday, from this company.  If I ever find out who this company is, I am going to begin legal action.  Here is an example of the calls for just ONE DAY:

This is RIDICULOUS!!!!!  They refuse to give their company name, when asked.  All they will say is that they are calling on behalf of wireless networks.

They are clearly calling from India somewhere.  They better hope that I never find out who this company is!!!!

I got a call yesterday and one today. When I answered no one responded. They called back today and I did not answer. I will never answer again.

Still getting calls from this number. I'm going to see if I can just block it.

I've gotten this call several time. I never pick up and they never leave a message. It is irritating.

An Indian guy informed me that "Your household has been randomly picked for a new cellphone if you switch to our service."  We told him no thank-you, said our good-byes and ended the call.

I don't know the number so I didn't answer.  From the looks of the other posts its a good thing I didn't.

They call and harass here A LOT.  A couple times a week.  Calling from NYC and I'm here in Canada?  I'm not about to do business that way.  Especially when I've stated repeatedly I don't want to talk to them.

They are the worlds largest security company (so they said) and when I asked to speak with a Supervisor they hung up. They then called my other line and I asked that they take me off of their calling list and again they hung up. They spoke of blue stop signs so I would assume they're talking about ADT or they ar there competitors.

I receive calls from this number everyday at different times of the day.  When I answer, they hang up. It is quite annoying.  What can I do to discontinue this harassment?  Any ideas from anyone?

They have called me numerous times and ID caller says: NWYRCYZN13, phone number: 347-441-4111.  The guy who leaves the message names a former client of mine and says that he is from the FBI.  The really funny thing is that this guys has a very thick Indian accent and says that his name is JOHN BROWN.  Yeah right!  LOL  He says that the former client said that I am a relative of hers and she is in trouble with the law and I BETTER call him or I'll be in trouble with the FBI.  Can you believe that?  Some SHLUG is probably sitting at a dumpy call station in Mumbai and threatening me....as if I would ever believe that his name is John Brown!  These people are beyond stupid.  They're BRAIN DEAD.  LMAO!

Calls frequent.  Understand they r from NYC.  Annoying.

as far as I know to report a number you have to go on donotcall.gov and put your number in the list, there is a link on that page for report a number and there are some requirements like having to have your phone number on there for 31 days and such

I have gotten numerous calls from this number.  I answered one day and got a lady who told me that I won something but said someone else name, when I told her that I was someone else and just got the phone (boost mobile I just picked up for work) she said I had won anyhow.  I kept telling her I still wasn't interested and she kept being persistent about claiming my prize, finally I just told her I was only 16 so she would leave me alone but yet they still call at least once a day...

Can you give me this info too??? We get calls all the time

I get this phone number on my anwering machine 5-6x a day -- they never leave a message -- I, too, am on a DO NOT CALL list but it does not keep them from calling. Next time they call I will pick up just to see who the heck has been harrassing me....report back!

This number called my cell phone which I only use for emergencies. I told the guy on the other end not to call and he promptly called me five more times in the same day. I put him down on my contacts list and gave him a special ring tone "silent"

I am apparently on their list as well...at least 4-5 a day. If anyone does get the number, please post!

I was out of town for five days and upon checking my answering machine when I returned home, I discovered this number (347-487-1144) to be on my Caller ID eleven times within four days. Each and every time the answering machine  intercepted it, but they left no message.  I guess when SCAMMERS are desperate enough, there is no limit on the amount of times they will call in an attempt to try to get a human being on the other end of the line.

I too, get harrassed with these calls, and it is invariably when I am at work, I have an extremely busy job and do not have time to answer my cell phone, in fact, we are not supposed to answer them during work hours - but because I don't often use my phone I forget to switch it off - I am also on the dO NOT CALL LIST, it dosn't seem to make a difference
