Its a scam.  Watch out!!!

Spam text message received on Verizon cell phone, allegedly from 347-530-0705, despite my number being on the Do Not Call registry.   Text reads:
"Shoppers:Earn $100/ day!
Undercover shoppers
needed to judge retail &
dining establishments!
No experience required

Call 877-450-6614

Reply STOP to end"

I never give out my cell number for any commercial purpose.  Will report these numbers at donotcall.gov

I dont know who you people are but i did not give you my permission to text me every 15 minutes, you are costing me a lot of money on my phone bill, i have your number and i will file a compliant with the FCC if you text me one more time, DONT TEXT AGAIN.       Jerod Lund

Text MSG for cash loans...anyone had luck with stopping these texts?

I just received the same exact thing today, I told them if they keep spamming me with text and calling me I will sue them in court.

I received a text message from this phone number.  I placed a return call and demanded to be removed. The unsolicited text came to my cell phone.  I requested to speak with a supervisor, the company representative hung up on me.

Also recieved an unsolicited txt msg from a "company" phishing for information on a voucher program "thanking" me for visiting their site.

When I called the 800 number, and asked why I had recieved an unsolicited txt, the woman answering the phone immediately hung-up.

I highly suspect this is a scam, and am reporting it immediately.

I got a msg thanking me for visiting their site (I hadn't) and to call 1-877-704-6317 to claim a free $20 Wal-Mart card and a $50 gas card. It says "2end reply stop"  I will reply stop and I hope it ends.

I filed an FCC form 1088 complaint online to report these guys.  Do the same, go to

"Wireless telephone", then select "telemarketing call", the click "Online Form"
or print/submit a form via FAX or mail.

Received text message on 5/21 from (347)530-0705 on my cell: "Thanks 4 visiting our site. Call 1877-7046317 to Claim your $200 Retail Voucher! Gift Code (Deleted) Reply STOP to DNC/opt-out."

I called back asking who it was, I told them I am on DNC list (been since 2007), and I wanted to be removed from their message list. I made three calls.  One person told me the company is Discount Plus of New York but I was always hung up on after I complained.   I suspect, based on other web postings, that this is a scam looking for credit card numbers (to pay for shipping and handling).  In my three calls there were two women and one man answering, and I could hear sounds of other operators in the background (boiler-room operation).

Same message, I PAY for each text.  How do we stop them?
