IC System calls me on average 5-6 times per day - and I think they're calling for previous owners of my home, or previous owners of my home phone number.  Either way, they're not calling for me.  I practice the same tactics they use on all of us - I simply don't answer.  Eventually, they'll stop calling.

Yes, I get calls from this number, sounds like an oriental lady saying hello than hangs up... Mo doubt a bill collector in that I have been displaced for over a year and have come apart at the seams in large debt. It doesn't matter, I wouldn't talk to any of them any more anyway. Explained myself enough and can't do anything about it.

I recently purchased a Net10 phone for emergencies. I am a caregiver. The number assigned to me through Net10 must have been someone elses who did not pay bills or something. The first message I received on phone was from an older gentleman trying to get payment on a $105 check. Now this.It's taken about 30 minutes of my airtime to figure these things out. the phone number is 913-406-7009. Wondering if I should have net10 reassign my new number. I got the phone only for emergencies to help with very ill older family member.

I am behind on payments for a credit card.  I set up a payment plan with IC System after not being able to take the 6-7 calls daily.  I was not working at the time and told them this.  This pressured me into setting up the payment plan, otherwise, according to them, I would face something similar to bankruptcy on my credit.  Now, most agencies try once or twice to take out money from your account.  IC Systems tried 3 times in a week.  Each time resulting in close to $50 in fees from my bank.  Then they have the nerve to call me and harass me at work.  It was a guy I spoke to, he seemed like he was in his early to mid 30's.  I didn't get his name, because he refused to give it to me, even after I asked 4-5 times.  I told him why I defaulted on the payments and what my current financial situation was.  He started laughing at me.  He mocked me without any hesitation.  I told him that I got laid off from work since the company I worked for went out of business.  He said I was pathetic and pitiful.  Then he started insulting my family when I told him that I had to stay with them for a while due to my financial situation.  The way he was acting, this could have been a prank call.  I wanted to retaliate verbally so bad, but held my tongue, knowing it would have gotten me nowhere.   And it is also scary that these ppl have your information.  Something has to be done about this, this is no way to collect money.  People must understand that just because someone has defaulted on payments, does not make them a terrible person.  Life sucks sometimes, and if you are laid off, it is not your fault.  Too bad the low life at IC System cannot comprehend that.  If this is what Capital One and Washington Mutual call a legit financial company, I will never deal with either of them again.  Also, I really hope something is done about IC System.  Their way of dealing with people is almost childish.  And for the SOB that I spoke with who refused to give up his name, Karma sucks.  Your day will come.

I have gotten 2 calls from this number so far.  The first one early on Sunday morning.  The caller ID says IC System. The caller asked for my step-daughter by name and acted as though she would know who he was. He identified himself as Chris from IC System.  Then nothing total silence untill he hung up.  The second call the caller just said hello and then silence.  So strange.

it is ic systems a collections agency for washington mutual that is abusive with the amount of calls they make i returned from the military and have been unemployed and fell behind on 2 credit cards they call at least 5 times a day on a 1000 dollar debt 7 days a week including holidays regardless of weather i answer or not what is wierd is the other card at about 5000 only calls once every 8 to 10 days they also will get very abusive with their questions and comments while speaking with them if they dont like your answers they even attacked my military service what a great thing for a vet having financial ussues after everything else

Have had 19 calls in past 2 weeks. They left a v-mail that was 34 seconds beginning with silence then slowly bringing their phone closer to a radio until my ear was being overloaded. Very funny - NOT! I think I am about $180 past due - like it's gonna affect a bank. They make huge dollars on late fees, etc. Not a very ethical way to do business.

I am $150.00 past due on a bill, I have tried to pay, but the way things are going now a days, it is hard to just keep the lights on. I had to change home phone #s too. But i now blow a whistle in their ear after they call me more than once a day.

They called me asking for someone I don't know and when I asked them how they got my number no one answered my questions.  In fact, I spoke to 3 reps and 1 manager named Lisa who were all rude and hung up on me.  Especially after I asked for the state they're organized under to file a complaint with attorney generals office.  What they failed to realize is that they are supposed to operate under the fair debt collections practices act.  They're not suppose to call you multiple times in a day especially if you've already setup payment arrangements with them as well as other things.  

Hey I got an idea let's get a class action suit going against them for harassment and other unfair practices.  I'm pretty sure all of our phone records is enough to show that they are harassing everyone here and any other information we can all gather.  I know some major attorney's that will do it without any payment upfront.  We can either put them out of business, cost them alot of money and cause they're rude employees to lose their jobs.  Maybe then they'll understand what it is not to be employeed and in debt.

For me this goes beyond owing money.  It's one thing to owe money but it's another to disrespect someone.  I'm pretty sure the way the reps act they wouldn't appreciate it if someone did it to them but they are hypocrits.  Oh, I worked at a collections agency so don't fall for any crap their reps post up here about don't owe money and you wouldn't have to worry about their calls.  Because you don't know a person's situation to cause them to get into debt.  I had a friend who had a severe medical conditions and had to get surgery and their health insurance company they had paid premiums to for 20+ years didn't cover them causing them to go into huge debt and for IC System reps to post the bs up here is inhuman and absurd.  

Also read the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act by going to www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf.  If you find that IC Systems have violated any of these laws in your situation let me know and we can do something about it.  Email me at lar-jr@cox.net.
