For couple of years they are harassing me.
One , two calls in the week.
They know my name and used to tell, that they are form Canadian Pharmacy.

This is a SCAM and it is the same person who also calls using the number 661-270-6146. He either uses the name of Officer Johnson or a Mr. Samuel. Saying that you are being sued or investigated for a debt. When you call back, they have enough of your personal info to make you think about it, but hang up on you when you start asking questions. Please beware and don't give out any info!!

they have called friends homes threatening  them ans have also called me at work.they have also called from a different number the guy said his name is jeff carder/cater. they have a very heavy accent and are hard to understand.have filed complaints before and they quit calling for a while now calls are coming back.

I got a call from 347-584-4980.  Left a message said they were trying to get in touch with me several times (not true) and I had to call TODAY to get my name off this debt before it went to court.  I don't owe any one money so it seemed like a scam.  I did not call back.  What kind of company does not have a 800 #?

I been receiving calls from this number today. And also a few weeks ago from another number. They said I owed money and would not validate my debt I have no debt. Also they wanted it in form of western union or moneygram. They threatened with court and would not tell me which court or who exactly they are always say they are ici or cashnet but always transfer me saying i am talking to a supervisor then say hang on when I ask for information from then and give me someone else who says They are a supervisor. They have last four of my soc and beginning of my email. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO THIS IS A SCAM. I have contacted the FBI and FTC and IC3 and filed complaints. I suggest you all do this too.

I saved the last message on my phone because it was just so hilarious.  I am a mother of two and a wife of 22 years.  Never been in trouble with the law in my whole life.  I have no law suits against me, I play by the rules...heck I don't even speed!  So what is so funny is that they say I am being investigated because my SSN was found in a major fraud ring and I can be in a "big legal mess" and only THEY can help me.

Yeah, this number shows up as a landline in either the Bronx or Queens but that is bogus.

Yes I've been so harrassed at work and home, samething saying they are Stephen Howard, Dee White (foreign accent) very Indy if you ask me, saying they have a lawsuit against me, and um I filed Bankruptcy!  WTF.  They need to be reported.  always changing there phone numbers buts its from the same place.  New york.  Supposely.

They have all bunch of ways to reroute numbers.  It's disturbing and plain frustrating.  Go to the forum here on 800notes and look at all the Payday scam posts.  You guys are not alone.  I am actually having fun with these guys now.  At first I was ticked, then annoyed so I decided to turn the table a bit on them.  I went to the website CashNet, which is notorious for either being hacked or selling information, and filled out a bogus application with the scammer's telephone numbers and fake names they use.  I never complete the application because it doesn't really matter, as long as they have your telephone number that is all that matters.  I never agree to their terms and conditions.  

I also stored their numbers in my cell phone and assigned a silent ringer to their number.

Btw, I found out that this number is being rerouted through 7 different IP addresses before making it to your phone.  I believe they are out of the USA regardless of where their number says they are from.

So you can file complaints with the FBI, BBB and the FCC.  You can also change your number.  But whatever you do........DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES!

received numerous calls from them and have asked all the right questions and they always have some lame answer for finally i got so fed up i told them ive already turned them in and to stop calling because i know its a scam & as i proceeded to hang up the phone someone in the background said "how do you know its a scam" & laughed and then they kept calling me back somehow from my own phone number like on my caller id it would say my house number was calling myself? a little creeped out. what else can i do? im tired of this s***

These people are so annoying and need to be stopped, this has been going on for over a yr now with me and i never answer and they dont get it or give up...stupid a** today called my cell first and left a number and than a sec later called my work line and left a different number, um idot!!  Plus if you are being investagated by the FBI why would they warn you?

Yes, I know exactly where they got my number.  I made the mistake of applying for an online payday advance.  I had some calls from some legitimate pay day loan places but then I started getting calls like crazy.  They have all tapered off except this one.  I know it is from this because I used my cell phone number instead of my house number.  Btw, I never got the payday loan.

I do know by law, debt collectors can not threaten you in anyway or form.  That includes mentioning legal ramifications such as this guy did.  I also know that they can not call and leave messages for a person that the messages was not intended for.  On my cell phone, it does not state my name in the greeting message but yet they leave messages anyway.  I now have them all saved and plan on reporting them.

these people called the wrong person. me!! okay people if you are getting calls from these people then ur information was sold to them by another company. what happens is: when you apply for a college or anything online they send out your application to more than one company or school and this leaves a big opportunity for people to get and sell ur information. but i am going to new york anyway so i mine as well try to settle the debt they said i have with them....

These people are persistent!  They now left a message on my cell phone stating that my name has come up in a major fraud ring and that I should contact them to avoid legal consequences.  Once again the voice was heavily accented and he said his name was Steve White from ICI (not ACI as I once thought he said).  He also said if I did not contact him immediately that my case was going to be downloaded to a court house.

What a crock of crap!  I really wish these people would get a life and stop harassing innocent people!

number called mycell phone i didnt answer it becasue it looked weird then my (pregnet) daughter who lives in texas called me said they called her number looking for some one with my first name or another name my daughter told them they had the wrong number she was Mrs C and they proceeded to tell her they had the right number . She is 6months pregnant these people are sick and dont care who they horace at all and very rude with an indian accent you cant hardley understand.

I have received numerous calls from this number as well as different varying numbers.  They keep saying the same thing that they are calling from ACI and I need to call them back or I will have serious consequences regarding my social security number that can result in legal actions.  I know it's a scam because I don't owe anyone any money other then the typical household bills which aren't past due.  The man has a heavy Indian accent.  So I came on here and sure enough, I know this is a scam now for sure.  So I decided to call them back.  I called them numerous times, put the phone on mute and one time they called me an A-hole and then another time they told me to F'n die. So what does that tell you right there?????

They called last month for one day and laft half messages saying they are the office of law and investigation then the phone hangs up. Now they are calling today and I have hung up on them it's like they pick one day a month to target me and I don't hear from them until next month......weird. The middle eastern guys name is Kevin Johnson....uh yeah. It's a scam they say someone has a lawsuit against me, I have no such thing little do they know I work for the Federal Government I would be the first to know this.

Got a call this morning and have been for the past month at my work place asking for one of our employees. They had a middle eastern accent and they said the person they were asking for were going to be arrested if they do not answer their call back. I told them they cannot call back.

I just got a call from a Unknown Name and Number and it was this guy who had a very thick middle eastern accent claiming his name was Allen William he was saying that the were filing a claim against me. I thought that was fishy and then he gave me his call back number 347-584-4980 and that i was to talk to his Supervisor..Funny thing is ive never had a credit card or bank account or have never applied for loans so FAKE ALLEN IS FAKE lol

A legit debt collector has to send paperwork within 5 days of initial contact, give you 30 days to dispute the debt, etc. per Section 809 of the FDCPA http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf  No paperwork means it's a scam. Also recieved a call from this number. Heavy foregin accents and they seem to use diffrent real popular names like smith  and Johnson etc. But sont want to give you information just that ur in alot of trouble. Then the numbers get diconnected and they resuse a diffrent number like they are trying to stay un detected? anybidy know who they are or what information i can get on them i want a address?
