Received message from 347 605 9220 asking me to call 877 704 6317 for a free gas card from Wal-Mart.

Forwarded to FBI for internet scam.

I just got a text from the number and it says:

2 messages today from 347-605-9220 one for 20$ wal-mart gift card and $50 gas card Then another trying to sell me a laptop.  I don't know how they got my cell number but I just signed up for a no cost membership to one of the "recipe" sites.

Seriously! I just got the call too and two seconds later my bank called me and said it was a scam and i had to cancel my debit card and open a new account!!

Same as all the others -free 20 and 50 dollar thing.

Received two texts about Walmart gift cards.I called one of the numbers.The gentleman hung up on me when i asked him for his name and what company he represented.

Texting me offering me a "loan".

My phone service doesn't allow blocking, so I have to just keep receiving the txt. I called the number and complained and the guy hung up in my face. They know it's a scam. How can anyone work for a company knowing that they are working for the bad guys? How desperate do you need to be for a job to do that?

Have received MULTIPLE texts from whoever this- replying STOP does not help. Same message as above. Anyone know how to block a number?

I received a call from this number for laptop33.com.  There is a website. Is this legit or is it a scam?  If not should I send a STOP reply or just delete it.

I too received the "Thx 4 visiting our site Call 1877-704-6317 to claim Your FREE $20 Wal-Mart Card plus $50 Gas Card, Gift Code RRV200 2end reply stop". Received it today along with a phone call from another weird number thats probably a scam. How do these people get our phone numbers?!

I received the same text message today at 2:55pm.  "Thx 4 visiting our site Call 1877-704-6317 to claim Your FREE $20 Wal-Mart Card plus $50 Gas Card, Gift Code RRV200 2end reply stop".  I'm not replying.  I hope they do not message me again.

I have no idea who this is as I didn't sign up for anything and don't want any offers sent to me ever again.

i, too want this kind of harrasment stopped. what can we do?

Got the same text as "irritated." never give my number out, it's for business use only. I agree something needs to be done.
