Yes, they always want the refund sent by Western Union. Funny that they seem unable to send you *payment* by Western Union, isn't it? <grin>

Tat number ws given to me too - I m a wedding photographer, and reportedly, they are a couple getting married "in my town" and are going to send my money to be in my hands this coming Tuesday.  I will get a check, but it will be for  larger amount and they will tell me to deposit it and send the overpayment to either (1) a cake baker or (2) a travelling agent or (3) their pastor.  I know, because I have had these before, and I like to get them excited by thinking they will fool me.  Maybe this time, it will be somebody else who should get the money.  They always want it by Western Union and sometimes I tell them I sent it, but when they ask fo the 10 digit MTCN number to claim or intercept the money, I only give 9 digits, which upsets them and they come back for the full number and I stall them saying I can't find the receipt and so on and so on.  

This 347-618-0477 number jus replied to my s.c. columbia craigslist posting i posted yesturday to sell a computer on craigslists. only reply so far i've gotten and does'nt surprise me, being the type of laptop/tablet upscale and rather expensive that even older ones running windows vista professional, like the one i have for sale would be. So i text message them back, and said yes as i do still have it, but immediately, googled there/this number in which message came from, (RED FLAG, OUT OF STATE) and i'm in south carolina, so just wanted to make a report of more activity with this obvious scamming number, as i also reported via from message i got from them to my smartphone, as SPAM! Hope this also helps someone else, as reports i was able to locate from this site, has tremendously helped me! Thanks

Scammer... Sent messages for items on sale. Kept asking for personal info.
