I got a call from this number - the number showed on my caller ID and it was a real person with a heavy Pakistani or India accent. It was the Microsoft computer virus / problem scam. But the scary thing was that he had my first name, address, and phone number correct. The weird thing is that he had my last name all garbled - I asked him to spell it and it was totally wrong. Some years ago, a legitimate charity I was contributing to was sending me mailings with that same garbled last name. When I sent one mailing back with my last name corrected, I began getting duplicate mailings, one under my correct name and one under the garbled last name. The caller today said apparently the database had my name wrong! I wonder if someone has hacked into and hijacked the database of a legitimate charitable organization??!

This guy called tonight. Sounded Indian or Pakistani. Said his name was Mike. He asked for someone who doesn't live here. I told him so. He replied it 'didn't matter' who he talked to because our computer was showing that we had spam and such on it. I told him I wasn't interested and he said, "wait...you HAVE to listen to me"... I let him drone for another few seconds and then I hung up. If I hadn't been expecting a call from Comcast (regarding a different issue) I wouldn't have even picked up the phone. I'm reporting this as we are on the no call list.

Called at 1:33 today.  My wife said she was recording the call and they hung up.  My neighbor was taken for $500 even when she called the bank a couple minutes later. They were manipulating her computer and then asked for a $10 fee.  Beware!

My husband got a call and he said that he does not use the computer to wait for me to get home. I ran an errand and the man called again. I can't wait for him to call again. I wish he would. I know it's a scam, but doesn't stop me from taping it or reporting it to the authorities.

An oriental sounding man named "Sen" said he was calling from Windows company to help find all the "malicious data" on our computer and asked if I was sitting in front of my computer. He started to tell me what to do to help him log in and fix it, but I hung up. At one point in the conversation he said that they had recently sent out a computer survey, but I've never seen it.
I immediately called the number back to ask to be removed from the list and the phone just rang and rang. No one ever answered.

got robocall from  347-674-8965 caller ID said "UNKNOWN NAME" on Thursday 12-04-13 @ 1019 AM.

Phone rang, answered on 3rd ring and a guy was on the line. The guy had a very heavy Pakistani or India accent and said his name was Mike with X company is this so & so. I said Yes and asked him what company he was with. He said it again but still could not understand his broken English. He said he was calling to let me know 'they' were receiving messages from my computer that I had cookies and junk files on my computer that were causing me slow response and problems that could lead to viruses.

I knew this was an attempt to HIJACK my computer.

I went along with ths guy and his script for about 3-4 minutes. Then he asked me if I saw the "flag" next to the Control (Ctrl) button. I told him "yes, there was a white lsquare there". He then instructed me to push the "flag" and another button. I said hold on cause I have to put the phone down to do it. He said go ahead so with that I put the phone up to my speaker and gave him my "Raunchy Cussing/Swearing YouTube Rant."
He was gone pretty quick.

WARNING READERS = this phone number and callers are trying to HIJACK your computer.
