I keep getting called on my mobile from number+000000000 and the caller hangs up

numerous calls completely absurd accusations. really annoying. MAKES ME HATE INDIANS. well, their voices at least. sorry. :]

This person called my sister first saying their names were Richard White and something she couldn't understand.  They told them that it was a legal matter and to give me the message.  They then called me this evening saying their names were Eric Johnson and Rick Jones from ACS and that I owe $300 for a cash advance I took out in August of 2010.  When I told them they were full of sh*t and to try to file a lawsuit they started cussing me out.

I had this number call my mother and leave a message and then they called me and told me that I had a cash advance loan for 300 dollars. When I told them that I wanted information mailed to me, that they needed a payment of 300 dollars before they could send it out.

Got this call today too, told him to stop calling or else we were going to call the police.  I hungup.  He called back immediately and said "just listen to me" and said something about a lawsuit against my social security number.  

Where and who can we report this guy to?

Indian, keeps calling my cell, home, work, and its a complete scam.......

I also recieved such call yesterday 04/04/11. From  ACS legal department. From a John and he said that he recieved this information from Advance cash USA and I asked when did I get this loan so I can check with my bank and all he could say is last year I do not have the date.  He kept asking if I had an attorney to resolve this issue and then said that on my credit it show that I have never been prosicuted for theft by check and then he named my parents names and said that they credit was not showing no such info. also. That was when I got mad and said you check my parents credit you had no right they were not on the one other than personal contacts. He said yes it show they are on the loan I siad no and you had no right to do so and I got mad and said I'll call you tomorrow and hung up. When I looked up Advance Cash USA this is what I found. Yes they have a very heavy Indian accent. Then number they gave me was 347-704-1652.

FYI:  I was also harassed by this Roger Smith, which he indicated that I had a lawsuit against my Social Security (SS) # and Drivers License... He went as far as submitting an invoice over email...Originally the the was $600 and then wiling to settle for $400.00 .. LAIR!! I never borrowed a pey y frothhcompay... BEWARE!! Tehey are after a quick buck!! If he contacts you  please inform him that you have contacted FTC.. HE will stop harassing you!!!

I have been receiving threating calls on my job from this number and several others such as 000-000-0000 from a Ray Cougar.
This man is very rude to co-workers after they tell him I am not at work or at my desk. I really want them to stop calling my office upsetting my co-workers. Yes I had a payday loan that was paid off last year, I called the company and they told me they were not contacting me for anything, it has to be someone with a scam.

I received two extremely rude calls yesterday.  Both were messages left on answering machines--one on my cell and one at my work.  Austin from ACS Legal!  VERY RUDE AND THREATENING!  These people need to be stopped----caller ID comes up as 000-000-000!  Call back number 347-709-1652!  What do we do to get these people to STOP? SO FRUSTRATING that they can continue to get away with this crap!!!  They need to be taken care of!

I received the same call from this munber from a Ray Cougar.  He called on the 23rd and 25th of March.  Along with other calls from other numbers all saying the same thing, like they are reading from a sript.  The other numbers I have been given are 3156281706, 3033530641, 8566778927and 6463893613.  I just had to change my home number and may have to change my cell.  I have filed a complaint with the WA State Attorney General and the FBI.  These people need to get locked up.

I have had the pleasure of speaking with Andy Brown...after quite a conversation I told him he owed me 300 dollars and to send it to me at 000-0000! He was not very happy...then I asked him out for a beer...hey..2 can play this game and I'm a lot more educated in the a english language! Bring it!!!!

I just got a call from these people on my cell and work #.  I asked the person to send me a Valadation of Debt and he hung up on me.  HUGE SCAM!!!!!

My daughter received a call that showed up on her cell phone as 000-000-0000.  She answered the call and they said that her sister had taken out a loan from Cash Advance USA and that she was listed as the guarantor.  He said his name was Roger White.  I called the number he left, 347-709-1652.  I told them that this was a scam, and he said, "Maam, just wait and see what happens to your daughter in two hours."
We called the police, and they came to my daughter's house and they filed a report.  Be careful.  Roger White/Smith/ Mac Dawson had a very thick Indian accent.

Received a call from Mary Jackson of the legal dept. of ACS re: my husband's SS #.  She said it was an urgent matter.  She had a heavy accent, too.

I just started receiving these calls from a susan with a very heavy accent telling me i was in a lawsuit against my social security number and for me to call back regarding this matter or I will be in huge trouble (exact words used). after not answering three times she stated she would start calling my employer. It scared me at first but after reading this, it is probably a scam. what do they do when reporting this to police?

I have also received the same call from Alex Mathew (?) (it is hard to understand what he is saying because of his thick accent. Telling me he is from ACS and I better call him or have my lawyer call him back by Monday or there was going to be involved in a legal mess in the near future and finished with thank you and God Bless. He also has threatened to call my dad (he was used as a reference), he had the last four digits of my SS number. Why are they allowed to get away with this?

I have received the same call from +000000000 today from a man with a thick accent stating his name was Jeff Thomas lol. He said he was from the legal dept of ACS and me or my lawyer better call him back or he will contact my employeer and have a legal mess in the near future finished with thank you and have a blessed day. These people have neen calling for the past couple months using a variety of  numbers as well as names. They have called my place of work which I had already informed of the situation as well as filed a police report.

My sister and I as well as several people in my address book received calls from a 000-000-0000.  Since they couldn't reach me, they called called my sister and left a minutes long voice mail saying that I owed them money, that she was the reference/primary guarantor, and that I was being named in a fraud case.  My sister said that the man, Stephen White, had a strong accent so she knew it was shady.  These people have called me from a 401 area code (Rhode Island) and many other numbers.  When I told them I was reporting them to the police they hung up.  Scary thing is that they know the last 4 of my SSN and work phone number.  They have called my job several times and told them that it was an urgent legal matter.  I have notified the police and local law enforcement agents.

The same here.  He said his name was "Jeff Thomas from ACS" in a heavy accent.  Doesn't sound like his name should be anywhere near "Jeff Thomas," but I digress...He also said that he was going to contact my employer if I or my lawyer did not get in touch with him about a potential legal matter regarding my name and social security number.  He left the same call back number 347-709-1562 and called from 000-000-0000.  I'm glad that I looked this up because it sounded ridiculous the first time I heard it and I'm glad I went with my gut.

yes i just got a call from this number as well saying he was spencer somebody and then i said the person they wanted wasn't home and the man said well i called her at work and they said she was at home. i said well she's not so i asked who they were and he said well if you not this person why are you asking i said so i can take a message he said it was a legal matter. whatever because my work called me and did same thing to employer and when she asked he fumbled his words saying he was from cash advance and it was alegal matter but if it was he voilated hippa by giving that info to my co-worker and by calling me at work anyway.These people call all the time with different numbers because i reported them once to federal bureau and they told me that they use perpaid phines then when they feel they are being traced they throw them out and get a new on with new number. Such a scam these people are and they really should get a real job but one day karma will come to them I can only hope.

AROUND 8:30 A.M. I ANSWERED A CALL TO MY ELDERLY FRIENDS HOME PHONE NUMBER, A GUY SPEAKING WITH A HEAVY MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENT WAS ON THE OTHER END ASKING TO SPEAK ANTHONY, MY FRIEND. I TOLD HIM ANTHONY IS SLEEPING RIGHT NOW, AND WHAT THIS CALL WAS IN REGARDS TO? THE GUY WENT ON TO INSIST THAT I GET ANTHONY ON THE PHONE, EVEN AFTER I JUST FINISHED TELLING HIM THAT TONY WAS ASLEEP RIGHT NOW, STILL HE HADN'T TOLD ME WHAT THIS CALL WAS ABOUT IF IT WAS SO URGENT HE SPEAKS WITH HIM NOW. I HUNG UP ON HIM BECAUSE HE WASN'T TAKING NO AS AN ANSWER. HE CALLED RIGHT BACK AND SAID I THOUGHT YOU WERE GETTING ANTHONY, I SAID NO,. HE'S ASLEEP RIGHT NOW,  CALL BACK IN ABOUT AN HOUR 0R SO HE ASKED IF I HAD A PEN HANDY TO WRITE HIS NUMBER DOWN FOR ANTHONY TO GET BACK TO HIM, SO I DID. I ASKED HIM HIS NAME AND HIS ACCENT WAS SO STRONG I COULDN'T MAKE IT OUT. HE THEN TOLD ME HE WOULD CALL BACK IN AN HOUR. I SAID O.K. AND HUNG UP. HE STIRRED MY CURI0SITY BY BEING SO PUSHY AND PERSISTENT THAT I DECIDED T0 LOOK UP THE NUMBER HE GAVE ME ON LINE AND SEE IF ANYTHING COMES UP. SO I DID AND IT CAME UP ALL RIGHT! I STUMBLED UPON THIS SIGHT AND I'M SO GLAD I DID BECAUSE MY FRIEND WOULD OF SURELY BEEN SCAMMED BY THIS MAN IF I HADN'T. SO I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK MYSELF AFTER READING ALL THE POSTS OTHERS WROTE THAT DESCRIBED THE CALL I JUST RECEIVED THIS MORNING. HE SAID ACS FINANCIAL SERVICES SO I TOLD HIM LOOK I KNOW YOUR SCAMS AND I WANT YOU TO STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER AND HE SAID WHAT NUMBER, I FORGOT I BLOCKED MY NUMBER BEFORE CALLING SO I TOLD HIM ANTHONY'S NUMBER AND HE SAID I WANT TO SPEAK TO ANTHONY. I TOLD HIM NO AND DON'T BOTHER CALLING ANTHONY'S NUMBER AGAIN, I AM ANTHONY'S CAREGIVER AND STOP CALLING, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT TRYING TO GET ANTHONYS PERSONAL INFORMATION AND LEAVE THIS MAN ALONE! HE BECAME IRATE AND RAISED HIS VOICE IN FRUSTRATION AND WENT ON TO TELL ME TO F@!* MYSELF!!! I JUST HUNG UP.

I too recieved a call from 000-000-0000 and the message I received was from a guy calling himself Richard White who also had a very heavy accent. He asked that I put him in touch with my lawyer as there is some unknown issue somehow related to the person that they are trying to reach (mind you I have no idea who they are trying to reach because I can't make out any name in the message). I call them a few hours later and they ask for my name, telephone number, and name of the person who left me that voicemail message. They cannot find my name or telephone number in their records and they can't tell me what services they provide so I assume this is a non issue, but this approach seems really questionable
