another medic alert call from an entirely different number. Said Alert on caller id.

As close as I can recall the pre-recorded spiel. They want to set up an appointment to install equipment for a senior help alert line, already paid for by a friend or family member. Plus give me 3 thousand dollars in groceries and eating out coupons all paid for in advance by the same person! then they suggest it was a friend or family member who recently fell... . Press one to set up appointment or press five if you do  not want an appointment...  I pressed five, this is the third time I've heard this rubbish but the first time I've listened to the end & refused the offer. I usually hang up after the first sentence. maybe they will take me off thier list? We'll see.

This call claimed to be about scheduling delivery for an emergency medical alert device, with free shipping, and $3000 in free groceries.  The female voice said the device may have been ordered by a family member after a recent fall.  No.  As other posters have noted, the recording is high-quality sound and I thought at first it was a live person on the other end.  

This was the second call of the sort I've received, each from a different number.  The target audience for this scam is elderly and vulnerable.  The FCC needs to take action NOW.

A message was left on my answerphone telling me someone had paid for $3000 worth of food coupons for me, and I should set up a delivery time for a lifealert bracelet to be delivered.

I get one to two calls from these idiots a day........I keep a spreadsheet of the numbers, names & when they called.  I block one # & they call back on another.  I report them to DNC people (big joke but I want t give them something to do.....:-).........like somebody else said, I would not call back & press 1 to be removed from their list........I think they pass that one on as a live one.  I don't even think buying a call blocking thingie will do you much good.........I think they use a # once knowing you're going to block it & just use another when they call you again.  I bet I have a dozen #s for this medic alert scam, same John, same BS.  I don't answer, just come here & other sites to see what people are saying........most of these #s are spoofed anyway.  What shows up on your caller ID isn't really the # they're calling from.........I really wish somebody could stop them.

Called today, 1-3-14, and gave 15 seconds of heavy breathing!

I am adding this to the blocked number list on my wonderful Panasonic cordless phone system from Costco. The "blocked number" list will hold hundreds of numbers. It has already reduced the number of unwanted calls from callers who had been a hassle for far too long. Unfortunately it blocks calls from my "bug guy" too because he blocks the caller ID info from his cell phone on orders from his manager.

We keep receiving calls on the land line. We answer and no one is there. I dialed *69 and got this number. We also repeatedly get calls about seniors getting $3000 worth of free coupons.
When we kept getting calls about our credit cards, I notified the PA Attorney General's office. They said that a lawsuit was filed against that company in 2011, but obviously nothing has been done to stop them. The calls originate somewhere in the Caribbean. So much for the "Do not call" registry and fines.

Received a call from this number at 7:22pm on 12/11/13.  Caller ID says ACS V EXPANS.  Left message that someone had paid for some kind of insurance for someone who fell here. What?

This is telephone #3 for the same people...Medical Alert System. They call every day, at all hours of the day from different cities, different numbers. Who will sop them?

I get calls from the same people but using different numbers. I never answer but they always leave the same recorded message..telling me that I bought a Medical Alert System & I need to arrange shipping.

Got a call from this number 10:40am today (Thursday 12/12/13).  Caller ID says ACS V EXPANS.

Just received the 2nd call from this number in 30 minutes.  The caller ID reads "ALERT".  Did not answer and no message was left.

AS V EXPANS  --  I keep getting these robo calls and have called back and pressed the 1 option to receive no more of the calls.  Well, this does not stop these calls.  This is disturbing and I want it stopped.

They called and didn?t leave a message.

The caller. " Alert?', 347-753-9053, sent us a prerecorded message about  "senior medical alert system "for sale.
@19:50. 12/11/2013. Yesterday, It called from 702-705-7354, CTY, ( Las Vegas, NV.)  @19:29, 12/10/2013 , delivered the same message. Each time I returned the call. The recorded message telling me to press 1 , then they will remove  our number from calling list, but it kept using other numbers to send the same message.
So many people already report this  number to ww.800notes.com.

The "rights" that have been listed have been listed FOREVER but there is no one to enforce it. If someone ever wants to get elected in this country just run on a platform that will stop these phone calls.

This is the fourth call in the last month where the caller ID is "ALERT", looks like the same scam just different spoofed telephone numbers. Can't block them because they change their spoofed number so it is  best I ignoring them.

I've been on the Do-Not-Call list from day one and it does not seem to reduce these ROBO Calls. In the past month there have been 110 incoming or outgoing calls on my line. About 35 of those calls were from or to known sources, the other 70+ are robo calls.

Other Caller ID's with the same type scams in the past month are :
CTY, CA,  Unavailable, WIRELESS CALLER,

Phone woke me and I answered without checking number. Recorded voice said "This is John in the shipping department and I'm calling to schedule delivery of your medic alert..." I hung up.

The call record shows the call came from ACS V EXPANS. The number is now blocked.

Research shows that this "number" does all their telespam calls on Weds.

347 753 9053...............New York, Queens medical alert company.....Fraud.........recorded message says an alert system has been paid for ( not true) and will not let call hang up or have live person answer to request to be off their list !  Reported to National DNC and blocked.  Nuisance.

ALERT Robo crap!!!

Called 2minutes ago. "Out of Area" in caller ID. Picked up and hung up. First time for this area code. Breaking the law is not a concern of their's.

Just got a call from the abovesaid number. Caller ID said "ALERT". Frustrating.
