I block these calls using "CallClerk" software. I have blocked almost 100 similar types of calls.

Just got a call that left VM about the $3000 in coupons, medic alert system, and all costs covered like a couple of the others posted. Press one to set up shipping and 2 to decline. I should have set up shipping to the Maryland State Police barracks. BTW...I reported it to nomorobo as well.

I received the same call just now, but thanks to all of you let it go unanswered. The caller ID said "ACS V EXPANS" which looks like court case.

Sorry to tell you, but you are wrong. I've been keeping a diary of these calls since Dec. 2012 which is when I got on the don't call list. The do NOT slack off -- sometimes for a week or two, but then they'll call several times on the same day. I've been keeping my diary on a spreadsheet so I can sort them by location, phone # or name on caller ID. My original thought was to save them for a few months and report them to the right person (whoever that may be). But when I researched each number and read the posts among them, I realized that the do not call list is positively useless and assumed that there was just no way to stop it.

A woman says: Hello this is (whatever her name was) and I just need your permission to send you... "click".. I hung up.

I do not answer calls from area codes I don't know. Do Not Call list takes care of legitimate businesses, but scammers don't follow any rules.

I received this call last night at 8:55 PM. Call came in as Alert. I thought it might be an alert from our local Police Dept., so I answered it. It was someone calling to send someone to my house to install an Alert System. Pressed 5 to remove # from list but got a busy signal and then a hang up. Several months ago I received at least 3 calls a day from another scammer regarding this time of scam. I could not get them to stop. I can't understand how this is possible. I am on the Do Not Call list. I think this list is a joke.

This is the second night after my kids have gone to bed I have received a call from this number trying to ship some alert equipment to me! They will not stop calling! How do you stop these people! Grrrrr

I got a call from "Alert" from this same number (347-753-9062) a few minute ago. I didn't answer, and they left no voicemail.

They said they were setting up free delivery for senior citizens for alert bracelets and something else. There are no senior citizens here, and we did not order a thing.

As soon as I turned 65 these call started flooding in. Do we turn stupid and 65 at the same time?

Caller said my "medical Alert" was ready to be delivered and had all been paid for. $ 3,000 in coupons was also to be included and to confirm delivery to press 1. I did--"Howard-employee number 95858 answered." I told him to remove my number from their call list. He got really nasty and hung up on me. This is just another number from the same idiots that have been calling. Senior citizens just may fall for their little scam.

Just got a call from "ALERT" 347-753-9062 witha scam about health supplies delivery and a $3000 free grocery and eatery coupon, already paid for....then message time lapsed.

Have asked them 3 times to STOP CALLING! They speak over you, ignore you and then insist I did order it. They need to be prosecuted. When I said "You are obviously fraudulent" they hung up on me.

Has anyone had a family member in a hospice in center city, Philadelphia recently, because this is where this scam caller got my phone number. They knew my family member was in there. please respond if you visited phila hospices recently.

Just got a call from this number offering free medical supplies for someone who has fallen in my house and then proceeded to tell me I am eligible for $3000.00 dollars worth of food vouchers to food shop with. When I asked them how they got my number, they ignored me and kept talking offering me more free things. So I hung up, but I am suspecting it was from the valet worker at a hospice in center city who valeted my car, he was very strange acting and this phone number is out of New York, NY, but also a Jamaican area appeared on my screen at first. The valet guy was Jamaican.

I get these stupid calls and since my answering machine ALWAYS answers the phone - it's not as bad as if I picked up the phone and can't get whomever to shut up long enough for me to tell them to stop calling.
There is a device on the market that detects this type of call and stops it before your phone ever rings. I am buying one ASAP!

This number has called several times. It is almost like a recording that you cannot stop. Did talk about the medic alert and $3000 in groceries. Caller ID says ACS V Expans.

What a trashy, deceptive, PREDATORY SCAM! They have several numbers and are calling and playing a recording of some bimbo speaking in a matter-of-fact tone that sounds like a real conversation. Jack***es are clearly targeting the elderly.

The only purpose in the medic alert for seniors scammer's calls to us, is to get our credit card numbers, so they can cheat us!
Same Here 2014-01-08 22:14:18 Unknown
I just received the same call and I could NOT get the representative to stop talking about $3,000 worth of free groceries for seniors. My elderly mom fell for this ... and it is by no means FREE.
Auburn 2014-01-08 21:59:09 Unknown
I got a call from "Alert" today, 1/8/14. Said They wanted to set a delivery date for my $3,000 dollars worth of free grocery coupons and amedic alert bracelet. I never ordered anything, and the implication was there that I did. I can see seniors getting very confused by these calls.
Roberta Clarke 2014-01-08 21:27:42 Unknown
Received a scam call from
347-753-9062
which also had the name on the phone ID as "alert" stating that we had a delivery of an alert system and $3000 discounted groceries (all of which of course we didn't order and know nothing about.) I might add that these calls have been coming frequestly, ever since one of the members of our family turned 65 last fall. This is clearly aimed at scamming the elderly.
