Debt Collector
called me with that same hogwash week before last, but with me she didn't use an accent.  Sounded like she'd watched a plenty Law and Order shows b/c she sounded like a real officer.  Looks like she's making her rounds and, if people are reporting this, telephone number and all, I'm not getting why she's still able to operate her scam.

If you google PharmPac Pharmacist Directory (http://www.usphs.gov/corpslinks/pharmacy/entirepac.asp) , you will see a directory that has her name -- Jacqueline Karen Thomas on the list.  She identified herself to me when she called as Lt. Karen Thomas and spoke with no accent but did talk in an "officer's dialect", as if she's watched a thousand Law and Order shows to perfect her sound.  Here is some information on her that appears on the list beside her name, left to right in the chart, the chart is entitled:  PharmPac Pharmacist Directory:

Name:  JACQUELINE KAREN THOMAS.  Rank:  CDR (clinical drug request).  Agency:  CDC.  Title:  EMERGENCY RESPONSE SPECIALIST.  Phone:  770-488-2510.  Email:  jacqueline.thomas@cdc.hhs.gov  Building and Room:  CDC, RM D-08.  Street, City, State, Zip:  1600 CLIFTON ROAD NE, Atlanta, GA 30333.

She didn't call for a debt, she said she was a federal agent with the FDA, the phone number she gave me was 347-767-2144, ext. 1824 and she said the FDA was located, when I asked the address, at 161st and Grand Concourse, 2nd floor.  Yeah, right -- that's the Bronx County Courthouse.  She said to bring $4,500 in cash w/2 pieces of I.D, and, to not tell anyone or they will be arrested on conspiracy charges.

I didn't buy any of it but I did pay my friend GOOGLE a visit and am now sharing what I found in this post.

Book 'em Dano!!

p.s.  to date, no search warrant has been effected and, no one arrived to arrest me.

This is a complete scam.  Tell the caller you are reporting them and then follow up.

Yes, I got the same call from "Lt Karen Thomas."   She was very agressive and rude and told me to get to the bank, ASAP or I would be arrested.  I was told I would need $4500 or I would go to jail.  Either that or face seven years in prison!!  She told me to get a "Federal attorney," (!!)  I called back and got an amazingly rude man on the phone.  He transferred my call and she told me I was being arrested because she didn't like my attitude.

I've reported the number and "Karen Thomas" to the FDA.  What if she had frightened an elderly person to send the money!!

I received the same call from a Lucinda Karen Thomas stating she had a search warrant for my residence and an arrest warrant for me regarding a package I supposedly ordered two or three years ago.  When I told her I googled the number aand this was a scam she hung up.

Just received a call from an officer with the FDA that stated that I had a package that was found with my contact information on it and that it was illegal to purchase RX on the internet.  Said that I had an arrest warrant and search warrant issued on me.  Told the person that I would be speaking with an attorney which is when she said she was sending agents over and hung up.  Number comes from the same NY area that other callers reported.  She said her name was Karen Thomas in her broken spanish accent.  Anyone else receiving calls from this number?
