There seems to be dozens of these MONEY70, PAY600, GIFT50 etc web sites sending spam SMS messages. They all seem to link to doublemypayday.com. Domain owner is:

I called them up and spoke with a person called Amy. She admitted that her company owns the web site doublemypayday.com. She stated that they do not directly send SMS messages from her company, it must be some affiliate of theirs that is doing non-compliant things. She did not want to admit a direct responsibility for the text message we all receive, but my argument was that they should be controlling their affiliates. She admitted that this is not something they want happening either as it damages their brand image.

She promised to investigate who is doing this, and NetTangerine would shut them down.

I promised to Amy that I will post this information on every complaint site I can get my hands on.

I suggest everybody gives a call to NetTangerine Inc Tel: (650)641-0184 and complains about the SMS messages. I'm sure the more calls they receive, the more motivated they are in finding out and shutting down which ever affiliate of theirs is doing this.

TWO days in a row!!!  The first one was from a number area code 209-200-2957 than from 583-41 and today it was from 917-257-1026!  Getting SICK OF IT FAST!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT IT??

I agree this is crap. No matter what they will not stop!!!!!

I am in the same position and have resorted to filing complaint with donotcall.gov maybe you should too!! the more complaints the better.

I also get the number 1-815-618-8260 they always... BLOW MY PHONE UP!  with ads for advanced cash availible!....... Is this company for REAL..............!

I just got the annoying text too....in the past week I have been overwhelmed with bogus calls and texts, each from a different phone number, so I can't even just block the number!

This one says:

Of course I am not replying and verifying my number for them, but this is so frustrating!

Receiving text at least twice a day.  My cell phone is registered with www.donotcall.org and still they text away costing ME money.  How do you get them to quit?  It will cost MORE MONEY to have the number blocked!

Www.pay600.com is a scam of some sort.please stop texting!

Got the same message as all the others - I've received four texts within the last few hours.  Regardless of typing "STOP" they don't effing listen.  Not sure what to do!

For Call Type there needs to be a Text option.

It happened again, just now 6:20pm EST.

This came by text, there is no option for text. I get CHARGED PER TEXT; this company owes me back my money.

I got the same as the original text today. I do not know how they got my number. They texted at 12:20pm EST.

This company or scam artist is driving me crazy. -Second if you apply for a loan from them you need mental help too. These are for an easy way to put it LOAN SHARKS.
-Third, Don't even go to the web site they just got paid for a hit to the web site for bringing in a reader.

Received a text this morning saying Fill up a Short Application to get a $1500 LOAN by the next day! Go to www.CASHDAY1.com(--2end reply STOP--). Received one last night from a different number that said Call 877-276-0982 to Claim Your FREE $200 Walmart Gift Voucher. I haven't given out my phone number so am not real sure what is going on.
