I ALSO GOT THIS CALL SAYING IT WAS MICROSOFT AND TRYING TO GET ME TO DO THINGS WITH MY COMPUTER - I WORK FOR A POLICE DEPT. SO I AM VERY AWARE OF SCAMS.  I TOLD THEM THE POLICE WOULD CALL THEM BACK - THEY GAVE ME THE NUMBER AND THEN LAUGHED AND SAID SURE YOU WILL.  MY SARGENT AT THE POLICE DEPT IS CALLING THEM NOW!!

Got a call from this number, said they were Microsoft Windows tech and that I had downloaded a virus.  Wanted me to download remote access software so that they could "help me before my computer completely shut down."

I just got a call saying they were from Windows and that I was having a problem with my computer.  It was odd, as I had been having problems.  So they got access to my computer from team viewer and then I started to suspect something so I told them I was not interested in paying the $189 fee to clean up the computer, then hung up.  I am upset though as they had access to my computer.  What should I do?

Idiots gave me their number - hello - what a scam!   I have a Mac and they tell me my windows is infected   hallooo!

They called me from an "Unknown" number and said they were from Windows and that my Operating System had been generating error reports and they were Windows Technical Support trying to help me before I crashed.

They wanted me to go to my Start menu and "walk me through" the errors.

I've PURCHASED support calls from MS before and even with payment, their technical team was slow to respond.

They called my neighbor at his business.  They said they were from microsoft help and support.  They had him use team viewer to log onto his computer.  Then they told him his computer was infected.  He got suspicious and called me.  I had him reboot. and checked his computer.  These F$%%cks suck.  I called them back and played dumb for 20 minutes just so they would waste their time trying to help me with teamviewer.

This is a SCAM.  Freaking African trash.

These guys have been calling off and on for months.
I got them to leave a number.  the number 347-796-4500
I called them but they did not pick. but they did call back.
The wanted me to visit a web site.  Googling the web site gave information on the scamming.
