Same person called me in a heavy indian accent w/threats of legal action due to someone using me as a reference... says I am being sued in court. I was not the person they asked for and they asked me did I know another name, I did not answer him,  just listened,  so he instantly put someone else on the phone who spoke better english but said he was an officer I did not get his name he was speaking to fast.  As soon as I heard the heavy Indian accent I instinctively knew it was a scam.   I told him " KISS MY A**..... I don't know any of these people"... and hung up the phone on them happened in afternoon about 3:00 pm. First time it happened to me.  I don't swear like that but I was already burning mad.  Funny thing my son in an up north state of the US said that indian people had just tried to break into his bank account he was notified by his bank.  I thought they might be getting information from facebook, be careful what you post about yourself on your profile page, put in very little about yourself.  Also if you use email turn off the chat button everyone that tries to break in and chat is always from India.  Between that an the illegals using out social security numbers our country is out of control   An illegal came into my husbands workplace, he works with her,  we live in a state that conducts random roadblocks and has just passed major illegal immigrant legislation.   When she was stopped in the road block, she had no license, no insurance  nothing, she said the police charged her $700.00.  But they turned her loose to keep on driving with no license, no insurance no id of any kind.  The officer totally ignored the laws we have recently passed regarding illegals driving with no insurance, license and using our social security numbers.  If that were you or me our our son or our daughter we would be in Jail, basically our police have come on the news with a blacked out face and said they are to lazy to fill out the paperwork when they are dealing with an illegal immigrant.  Another one totaled her car out    in front of my husbands workplace on the way to work,  She smashed into a ditch, etc., cops came and let her go scott free she also had no license, no insurance and was packing a phony social security card which could have been yours or mine.   The truth is my husbands employer actually gives the illegals the social security numbers and changes their name for them every 6-8 months.  One of the social security cards and numbers owed for back child support so when the employer was notified they called the illegal in,  ripped up the social security number they were using, gave them a new name and social security number and just sent a letter to the state that sent the support notice that the person had quit and left the state.  This place is a very big very prestigious playground for the rich and famous and almost every single employee is illegal except for my husband and a few others,  This is happening all over our country I am going to put the lock on my credit that Clark Howard suggests you do,  you get a code number so when you apply for something you call  in a pin number its on his web site.  Why, why is our country allowing this to happen? Are our politicians so hungry for illegal votes or just that they are kissing up to the rich and famous so they can get away with paying these illegals minimum wage for all jobs.  Jobs are really really being taken away from US citizens just take a look around you at the road crews, building roads, etc., they are all illegals.  Our police, politicians government all know but they are absolutely not going to stop it.  No other country in the world would let this happen.  Whats wrong with asking every single child to show citizenship when being registered at school, or every single person to show citizenship when applying for welfare or a license, then surely the groups could not scream prejudice because it would be the same for everyone, got any answers.

A man with a heavy Indian accent calls w/threats of legal action due to an unpaid online loan (doesn't exist) he stated that he was calling from the Dept  of Financial Investigations and his name is Ofcr David Miller (fake).  He has also tried to run his scam using the name Norman Cooper calling from the Legal Department (?).  I advised him to stop calling and said that I was recording his call and reporting his ativity.  He hung up and called back and states he will continue to call back.  He has now elevated to using offensive remarks

i just recieved my 3rd call from this number 347-434-2529 and was told by officer justin williams i was going to jail if i didnt pay him 2000.00 to help me stay out of jail.  long story short when i got done talking to him in my kinda upset tone  he knew what he was where he needed to go back to and that he needed to eat a few fish heads to live up to his rep.  im tired of them coming over here being to lazy to work and trying to rob the american people of thier hard earned cash.   why our goverment doesnt just throw thier a**es out of our country ill never know.  maybe we need to fight that war over again  and this time no holds barred.  yeap that sounds good to me cause id go back over there and id sure try to be the first in line to sing up for a tour for how ever long it takes.   anyway thanks all you people out there for letting me vent to you  but im sure most if not all of you feel the same way as i do.   enoughn is enough.   send them home president obama im backing you all the way  over this matter and all matters .

I have been called, harassed and threatened by this same guy from the same number, for the past 7 months. Only the last time he tried as of today, he actually called my corporate headquarters HR person and had them call me in reference to a Federal Officer named Patrick Miller. Naturally when I call the number, it's the same accent as before and I start getting threats of arrest right away, after I ask that proof of this so called debt be mailed, emailed or faxed to me. I was denied each time and once he started getting loud, I just hung up on him. I just wish someone got a good fix on these guys and wiped them off the planet. I'm an ex cop myself and can smell a rat far away. These guys have it bad and they have taken a lot of people over the years. Something has to be done!

i got a call  347-434-2529  from a officer justin williams saying i owed a online loan but wouldnt give me the loan companys name but said i had 3 charges against me .  this guy was very very asian  gave me the case numbers 12-89-K248  . this is really a scam .  dont do anything hetells you or dont agree to anything.  i whis i could get the guy infront of me for 2 minutes . it would take about that long for me to feel better.

I was getting  calls from these people on a daily basis. They used to call me at work and tell my co-workers I was going to be arrested if I don't call them back by 5pm. I called them back and asked them what the debt I owed was, and all they kept saying was a payday loan and I was committing fraud by not paying them back. I asked them if it was common practice to threaten arrest for a debt and they state they work for the government and they can do anything they want in order to get the debt paid. I asked them to send me proof in writing that this is a legitimate debt and they stated they don't have to, nor will they. I finally screamed into the phone to stop calling my job, that I had already reported them, and that I was recording the conversation...no more calls from them in a week. But now they have someone named Mr. Reed calling doing the same thing. What can I do about this? I know nothing of this so called debt and feel I am being harrassed. I can't believe they can give out any information to anyone other than myself, but they do.

I have been recieving multiple calls from this number, with a man stating his name is Officer Steve Johnson, with the US Department of Financial Investigations, a branch of the US Federal Government out of New York, NY.  Stated his badge number is 78621 and that I would be arrested if I did not comply with his requests.  He is even calling my job and telling anyone who answers, all about my business.

Patrick Cleppner calling my spouse daily for a month about committing fraud, blah, blah, blah..  I took over the calls and asked for info in writing, or via email... Oh mam, we are not a collection agency and we just handle these things for a lot of companies"  Could not provide ANY data, except the year 2010.  No amount, no day or month.  They call my husbands work too even tho asked NOT to and I have been polite b/c they were scaring my husband and his employer.  Today I'll report to local police, and others, Secret Service & FBI I guiess.

My business received a call from a guy with an African-like accent identifying himself as Officer Walter Jones from the Department of Financial Investigation in New York City, New York.  He said one of our employees listed my company as a guarantor on a loan or something and if the employee did not return the call to 347-826-4106 by 5 pm, he would be arrested.

I have been getting the same calls. The "people" calling sound like the same ONE person - he has the same accent and pronounces my name the exact same way but uses a different name. Whenever I begin to question him, he hangs up on me. Whenever he begins threatening me, I hang up on him. Someone please help!

i use to get these calls 2-3 times a day. first of all, if they have your ss #, call either one of the 3 credit bureau's, and tell them to put a fraud alert on you ss#. a fraud alert isnt anything against you, it just basically red flags your ss#, and that means that you will be notified of every attempt to use that #. second, tell him/her or both (who ever calls) that the FDCPA requires, by federal law, that you recieve notice in writing before they make their stupid little threats. and by law they can only talk to you once a day, and only 1 voice mail message a day and the message cant be left after they have already called and spoke to you, or the debtor if you  arent the person thsy are looking for. hope it helps, good luck...oh, and unless you ask them to call your job, they cant unless that is the only way to reach you. if you tell them to stop calling any # other than your residence, they have to stop....

Yes I got her on my machine from a unknow number. Then it was  Mike forgot his last name but got it written down . He tld me I was being sued for a loan in nov saying they put 300 in my bank account and I never payed them back. Said they were going to sue me for 3,000 or if I send them 547 and some change they wouldn't sue n would settle outta court but I had to pay them that day. Ithought they were crazy so I called my bank with them on the line and back tld them no money was deposited into my account but the still continued to argue stating they gave me the money and would take me to court if I dnt pay. I tld them well I'll see u in court I have my proff and he hung up .They have that thick funny fast tlking u can hardly understand what they r say voice .I'm reported them to FTC and in the process if writing a letter to the consumer protection division along with my proof of everything and leting them take it from there. I hope to put these annoying scams to an end once and for all. I also want to spread the word so that everyone will know that they r scammers and not fall for it or give them any money .

forceful things to call him back. I called the police who came out to my house
n called him back. The so called Justin Williams answers the phone n couldn't evev give the police officer a badge number, or adress. He also stated he was located in Newyork but funny bcuz the
number he called me from was a Washington,Seattle number 2063339999. Also  funny they never sent me any type of documention. Total Scam!!!!!!!!

I received a call on my cell phone #popping up as 0000 a female with a thick indian accent left a voicemail saying she is from a govt agency but I couldnt understand what she was saying, she was threatening me saying that someone I know used me as a referance and is in serious legal trouble if i want to avoid having my name on the legal documents then I need to advise this person to return there phone calls.  The return # they left is 347-735- 5135 I cannot beleive that they are able to call people and make such nasty threats who can I turn this # into so these peole can be stopped it seems others have turned it into the police with no such luck,

I just received the same phone call and I answered the phone. I told him that "Scott" is no longer employed by this firm and they (Walter Jones) said that the investigator will be stoping by for questioning. He then said that someone from this firm has to appear in court and confirm that Scott has been employed by us before. I think it seems to be a bunch of crap Just to get someone scared enough to give them what they want.

This guy Mr Brown just called my wifes cell number reporting she was in big trouble. She could not understand his broken english as he babbled on, so I advised her to hang up. He called back and I answered the phone to hear him complaining of her hanging up on him. I advised him of him having the wrong number and hung up. He called back twice and we never picked up the phone. On the third try he left a voice mail indicating she had lied abount some investigation and she was in big trouble. If she didn't return his call he would have someone at her place of employment in the moring to discuss this matter with her boss and she would be in "big trouble". Trouble is ................. she has been retired for a number of years and so have I. Sounds as if this guy is in BIG TROUBLE if he is ever caught.

person from this phone number called about a debt which has been paid for over 10 years and now says we have a new debt as of May of this year from same business.  Person from this number advises he is with department of investigations and says he is with a division of the federal govt agency.

I have been getting the same calls. He has even called my work and boss told him not to call. He said this is in regards to a lawsuit and he would bring a lawsuit against my company. Boss said to bring it on! This caller said my Social Security number is on hold and my residential address is being investigated! When i told him I was turning him into the Attorney's General Office he told me someone will be coming to my house! How can we stop this scammer???

Received a call from them today also, stating i owe them for a payday loan that was supposedly deposited to account that i have.  crazy thing is, no deposits ever made to this account.  this is a total scam!!!!

This indian guy keeps calling my cell phone and my work, and he has the wrong last name its not even me, he tells me i am a liar and he will embarass me..he just started saying he was an officer and there is fraud on my social security number, he also puts my social security number on any voice mail, so i now have to file for a new one. Someone needs to stop this guy

I had the same man called me on my home,work,and cell phone said the same thing he told all of you, he even called my manager and left a message stating that they were coming to lock me up for financial fraud..then he a week before that stating that if i won 7,000 from the us govrnment...this man been calling for a month now!!!! what can we do!!! the names they use is officer walker jones, derrick williams, officer thomas williams... he also told my manager that he was in new york city..

I have been receiving a few calls, but thought they got the point that I knew they were a scam.  But I unfortunately I got another call today. I work for the Federal Government so I know what the Federal Agency Office of Financial Investigation investigates.  When I stated that I work for the Federal Government, "Officer Scott Parks" asked me which agency, and I stated that if they really knew who I was and had a lawsuit filed against me they would know who my employer was.  I proceeded to ask for his return phone number and the name of his Supervisor or Manager, at this point he stated he was the supervisor, so I insisted on the name of his Manager, he got aggravated and stated for me to come over to where he works and I could see for myself.  So I said I sure would, give me the address and I would be right over.  At this point he hung up on me.

just got the call today, i new it was a scam but i listened.  he said he was officer patrick clapper badge #38195  said he was with the dept of financial services and i have 3 charges against me.  i owe money to a company called CNM for $550.00 from and outstanding loan.  He had all my info expect my birth year was wrong.  I told him i check my credit report every 3 months and i know what is on it.  He asked me if i  have enrolled in fraudulant activity?  I said sir, i dont understand. he couldnt explain what he meant.
I told him since he has all my info please send me documentation i owe this money.

i just received 2 calls form this number. They didn't leave a message. Yesterday i received a voicemail stating that i have a case against me for an outstanding loan of $250 from an online loan company. They had my address,last 4 of my social and my account imnformation. I keep getting calls at work and at home from officer Patrick Clapper and/ or officer Dave something saying they are from  financial crimes investigations. Theys say my property and I under investigation by the US government for two illegal acts: Fraud and theft by deception for not paying back a payday loan. They have a file number they spout off. They've given me a badge number and tell me I am in very serious trouble. They have called and threatened my boss and said she and my place of employment need an attorney as well, since I used them as a reference and they will also be sued and brought to court. I was told I have two options: take my chances and get an attorney to fight this in court or settle this immediately out of court. They sound very legitimate and intimidating at first. They know so much of my personal info like my ss# and birthdate. When I told them I don't owe anyone any money and will take my chances in court they become irate. They tell me officers will come the next day and drag me out of work in front of everyone and I will go to jail. This threat has happened on at least two occasions. Of course no one shows up at work...but they do keep trying to put the pressure on through my boss. I even told them to send their officers and I will go to jail to put an end to this. Again they become angry and told me they will keep calling me at home and work either till I pay or am terminated...don't know if they mean death or lose my job or they drop the case. Most recently when I trie dto ask for verification of this debt and again I will fight it in court the guy told me he is about to make my life hell. Sometimes they call me six or more times ina row according to caller Id on my cell. HOW do I stop this...I have changed my home phone and so far...so good...two weeks now, but still calling my boss. I have reported them to the police...but that hasn't stopped them. They've been told not to call my job anymore..but still do. Can anyone offer help??????Please!
