I have the same problem with my home phone, so I started forwarding calls to my cellphone, then use an app to block numbers. The one I use is called Mr. Number, but there are many others (FREE) out there that work the same. Apparently, Mr. Number has no limit on the number of calls you can block or send to voice mail. Now I get a lot more peace and quiet.

Answered the phone and the person at the other end hangs up. Our number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST. By reading I am seeing this is a scammer using a cell phone. We DON'T know anyone in the NY area.

I tried blocking these numbers but my server holds only 12 calls. After awhile I go through and delete the first ones to add more. They still keep coming in. I checked my call log through my server and they continue to call even though they are clearly getting a message that their number is blocked. I have started picking up the phone, laying it down under a pillow and hanging up after I get the stead beep beep. It doesn't stop them from calling but it ties them up for a couple minutes. I too am sick of getting these calls. The Do-Not-Call List doesn't work.

Called me twice, I didn't pick up either time and the 3rd time, I blocked it on my iPhone- no mas pantalones! :) I don't have time to waste on bs like this.

I had the same thing as you guys. Luckily, it's the same number every time, every day. I just blocked it on my iPhone, problem solved.

Saw the caller and didn't answer. Left dead air voicemail. Guess it wasn't that important.

they called me asked for money, i do want to received any calls like that

we are on the "do not call" list, but got a call from these people anyway.

This number called my mother's cell and asked for me, she told them I was with her and then they hung up.

I use to fight the good fight but it's like trying to stop the tide from coming in, I now just never answer but the big question is how do these places stay in operation? I never give them any business and neither should anyone else ever.

I received a call from them today. The woman had a heavy foreign accent and asked for me. I could not understand a word she said, past my name.  I called the number back, and it said something about  reaching magic jack and that the person's mailbox was full.   Possible scam??????

These "Auto Care" people keep calling me and I have clearly told them to remove me from my list and they are NOT getting my personal info. They don't give up! I want to find a way to stop these idiots.

They called asked me if I was Brenda Thomas, but said my last name wrong. I said yes. They hung up. I tried to call back. Got a magic jack recording stating they were unavailable and leave a message, but the mailbox was full. Then it hung up. I have recently had a change in insurance, but since they hung up on me. I really don't know what the call was about.

11:03 Apr 10, 2014 - 347-838-7676 caller said they were notifying me of a 20% reduction in my auto insurance rate and referenced my insurance company by name.  They started verifying my identity by making statements and asking if they were correct or not .  That is where the conversation ended and they said I would be getting a follow up call.  They were calling form the wrong state and didn't know my cars age.  When I phoned the number a Magic Jack modem answered probably attached to a PC.  The came from a NY city borough; the Bronx, Brooklyn or Queens.  Fishing!

Called personal cell.  Did not leave a message. Caller I.D. only shows Richmond, NY.
