i have also starting getting these calls about a week ago. i tried call 347-491-5135 just to see who will answer, all i get is music. this guy also speak an accent. on paper his name is alexander black. i hop who ever reading these will not fall for this scam and give this jerk money. he is trying to scare tactics. PLEASE do not fall for this. i just don't understand how he get our information, is is from the CREDIT REPORT, if that mean anyone can request your credit report.  SOMEONE TELL US HOW TO REPORT THIS SCAM

I received the same call from this man several times.  He continues to call me.  He is very rude.  I don't know how he got my information.  I am taking steps to stop this harassment.   I just want him and who ever he work's for to stop calling me.

These people called me too and I work in a school system where we get calls all day for SERIOUS matters and it is quite embarrassing when the schools secretary has to call me over the intercom after school stating that they are threatening her as well. I am informing her today that these people are scam artists and that she doesnt have to send them to my voicemail anymore. I am no longer answering the phone for them and they can kick rocks. This needs to be stopped somehow.

I GOT THE SAME PHONE CALL YESTERDAY FROM A CALLER STATING THEY WANTED TO COLLECT A DEBT AND THAT HIS NAME WAS ALLEN DEXTER AND TO GIVE HIM 502.00 TODAY TO SETTLE A LEGAL MATTER AGAINST ME.  I NEEDED TO FILL OUT THE SAME FORM AS PAULINE AND SEND A PICTURE OF MY PHOTO ID IN AND THE FAX NUMBER IS

i have been getting calls from international calls for the last 5 months these guys call and tell me their name so fast that i can not get it down exept one and that is willaim. they are very nasty and yelling at me. they will not give me any information about the loan. the email that they sent is following:

there is no original loan infomation and when i tell them they are acting like fraud the tell me that they are going to call my boss and get the money from them as i used there name in a fraudulant manner.

IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I work in law and have had the AG's office 3 way the number.  I had not heard anything else from them until recently.  Do not answer the call and make sure to inform your employer of possible scam calls to work (this will save some embarassing moments).  What it is is an overseas group, hard to trace, using local pre paid cell phones trying to gather small sums of money.  They get info from almost all internet applications for credit.  I advice all such app's be done in person.  Financial institutions have encrypted computers so hacking, or selling, of your info is nearly impossible.  Sadly, there is not much the local or federal police can do, so remain patient and ignore all calls.  Eventually they will go away.

i told these callers that i have their names and address and was calling the police about the matter.   they haven't called back since.

Some guy named jason called me,...told me i owed him 300 dollars for some loan that i did over the internet..which i never did! told me i was gonna have to go to court and some other stuff! really freaked me out!!

This person called my job and left a very nasty message his name is Roger Smith..... He wants to know my bank information and he got a little upset because I didn't give it to him..  All I want is for him to stop calling.....

William Blake keeps leaving voice mails on my cell as well as my work #, and now he is leaving messages on my co-workers extensions for me and I want it stopped.  This is not the only # that does this, and I have put in a formal complaint, but that probably won't stop them!

Received call at work today.  He refused to tell me any information. It had an India Accent.  Kept spouting legal matter. Then he called my cell phone several times in a row.  and only left one message and again I could not understand what he was calling about.  He was rude and hateful....these people are rediculous

I got this same phone call yesterday 11-18-10. Asking about a lawsuit & how I owed money. He does not speak english very well (which I told him several times) He's extremely threatening to me. Sent me a wack a** email for me to send over my bank statements. This dude sucks. What is the problem? I'm really not understanding what's going on. Can anyone help? Yes, it's a scam! Just ignore it and don't answer nor talk to them or respond in any way.

I have gotten 2 calls this week at my job. This last time I spoke to this Eric Foster he said I needed to pay him $200 in order for him to stop calling me.

Why are you even talking to him?????? It's a scam!!!

Just hang up or don't even answer, don't get into any kind of a conversation (even a "you suck, you're a scammer") type conversation. Eventually they will go away when they realize they are not going to get any money from you. If you call them back or engage in a conversation with them they will continue to try to harass some money from you.

I'm a receptionist and I continue getting calls from William Blake for employees at our company. I do not patch them through. I tell them I'll take a message for the person...it's a scam and they shouldn't be wasting people's time. Just hang up on them.

If they're abusive and not playing by the FDCPA and threatening you with loss of employment, I suggest treating them as scammers as no FDCPA-abiding debt collector would do what they're doing. If you lose your job, you wouldn't have the income to pay them so where's the sense in that? Buy a whistle or air horn and use it, God will forgive.

These people were asked to not call me at my place of employment, and when they were advised that I worked for a Fair Debt Collection attorney previously and knew what rights covered me as a debtor federally the caller became very rude and told me to get ready to lose my job because he was calling my workplace.  I also told them to please cease and desist from collecting any debt and advised that I would be following it up with a letter to them confirming same and that I would be contacting my attorney.  Since then, they have called me at work and have called me a f****n bi*** and told me to keep laughing because they were going to be sure that I lose my job and that they are going to continue calling me at work and harrasing me.

They called my work friend my grandmother and myself saying that I had a unpaid payday loan. Said he was a layer. Was verry rud. Can someone give me info on these people at least where I can report them?

Continue to received unwanted calls from (916) 395-0000 beginning at 8:15 AM EST until late hours of the evening, everyday of the week. I answered and was place on hold for supervisor, Jeff Williams. Jeff, with an Indian accent advises that he is an attorney representing an online payday loan company and threaten to take me to court if I do not not furnish a debit/credit card to pay debt.

No address was given, but claims that they are located in Minnesota.

His call back number is (347) 844-6654 with option to leave a message.

When answered (Law  Office), I asked to speak with Jeff Williams and was asked for my name, then placed on hold to listen to circus music. I hung up!

Yes a very big scan they also are trying to use a locksmith company as well that number is 866-2044702  this is also another scam I know cause we never got money from them and never even applied to them they work over the intrnet so never use the inter net to get pay day loans for those of you who may need it. we looked into itand never did it and now this is happening so BEWARE
