My hospital received several (10-12) calls today from Ronald Martin / Jackie Williams (same person).  Caller wants to speak with an employee.  Employee is not working today.  Caller threatens to call "back to back".  Caller has strong Indian or Pakastani accent.  I identify myself a a police officer (true) and threaten to cite him for "harassing phone calls" which is a misdomeanor in this state.  Calls stop!

I have been getting the same phone calls from Jackie Williams saying I have a payday loan and I never have had one.  He cant tell me the date I "supposedly" got this money or the amount.  WTF.  You dont know the date or amount.  Please!!!!  He calls continously.  My bank said no deposits have been made into my account except my paychecks.  There should be something we can do about this.  I called the police and he said to ignore them.  Easy to say....

have also received same call thanks to you folks it was caught before anything was done before i had number blocked on both our phones i spoke to john at acs and let him know i have contaced our local police department also spoke with our attorney and with my husbands work told him not to call again and hope that the police are able to find these people, he also called on another number which was 347-416-5090 was able to find out it was a cell number in manhattan new york thanks again for the help

got same call from acs same harrasment as everyone else had number blocked daughter works for phone company for fraud division is handling this hope they catch them and put a stop to it

i have been getting the same calls from "Alex Mathews" very threating. just have some fun with them, what can they do?

The only ACS I know of is the Affiliated Computer Systems in Dallas, but they are long gone.  I think IBM bought them out a couple years back.

I got the call from the same sounding guy.  They only need to hit on a patsy one in a million to make their scam worthwhile dollar wise.  I just want to know why he chose me and how he got my number.

My big question is why does the phone company allow people, these scammers to use throw away phone numbers so they cannot be tracked?

this guys name is jack thomas,he has a thick accent,you can hardly understand what is saying,He is such a butt,every one can se  that he is just a jive scam artist.Just hang up on him and go on about your day.

Claimed he's calling from a law firm and that my name is listed at the

They called me in reference to a friend..same nonsense as what is posted above..same name Eric Lloyd, and a "supervisor" named "Mac Dawson", I told them "Yo, remove my number from your list and go suck a phat one...lose my number."

Someone by the name Jack Thomas continues to call me at home, work and on my cell from this number stating he is from ACS and if I dont call him back he will have me arrested, sued and will take all I have from me.  I am at risk of losing my job because they are calling so much.  They tell all my coworkers stuff when they call my work and are telling them they will get into trouble if they do not pass the message on.

I got a call from someone named Jack Thomas saying that I owed $300 for a cash advance.  When I asked him when I took this advance he said March 16, 2010.  When I told him I was looking at my bank statment for that date and there were no deposits for that day he said that I was issued a pre-paid check card.  I never took out this loan and I don't know what he is talking about.  When I asked him to send me information about the company that says that I owe them money he says that I need to have my lawyer contact them then he hangs up.

I have received many calls from an Alex Matthews (very American name for the VERY thick foreign accepnt he had).  Sadly for him I work for a PDL company and I was able to shoot down all false claims and terminology that he threw at me.  I enjoyed what Robin did callign them over and over again and believe that I will let my children call them repeatidly if they attemp to call me again.

I received a call from a Jack Thomas who said that I owed money and that he was going to turn my file over to the Courthouse.  I don't owe any money and this is a scam.  He had the last four digits of my SS# and told me to call right away.  He has a very foreign accent and you can hardly understand him.  I have received other calls from other made up names and different phone numbers and when I search the phone numbers they are scams.  I called and called them one night over and over and told them if they wanted to talk to an attorney, I work for 300 of them, which one do you want, and they kept hanging up on me.  Finally, after about the 50th continuous call to them, they finally said, why do you keep calling me, I said you keep calling me and they hung up.  I told them that the numbers were being reported as scams and they were being reported to the authorities and they kept hanging up on me.  SCAM, SCAM, SCAM - DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION

These guys are calling me at work and I work at a law firm.....Have my mom's name, sister's name and phone and last four of my social......

ya these guys will never stop and never give up! they have been trying to get me to pay them for a fake loan ( that i never took ) and they have lots of people working there! they all use fake american names such as John Brown or John MaCoy or many other of the whitest names you will ever hear! they have been calling me for about a year now and i look forward to their calls every time! no matter what they call themselves i always call them Mahamad and ask them if they rode their camel to work today and keep at them till they give up and hang up on me! i tell them sorry but i dont support terrorism and that really gets them going every time haha but ya i have spoke with the real cash net usa.com and they will tell you the same thing...its a off shore scam and dont pay them and dont give them any information at all! instead of getting upset and mad at them use them to take out your aggression from the week. make fun of them talk s*** to them threaten them the same way they threaten you! i promise it will make you feel better ;-)

HE LEFT ME A MESSAGE STATING HE HAD MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND COMPLAINTS ABOUT MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS.... AND TO BE A BIG GIRL AND CALL HIM BACK... SO HE DOES NOT HAVE TO CALL AND BOTHER MY FRIENDS.... I CALLED BACK THE NUMBERS ON MY PHONE LOG WITH THE SAME AREA CODES AND PREFIX... INCLUDING HIS... AND THEY ALL ANSWERED... "HELLO?" WELL WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS WOULD ANSWER JUST HELLO... NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL... AND DEFINITELY A SCAM... BECAUSE I LOOKED THE NUMBER UP AND IT ALL T-MOBILE CELL PHONES.... AND THEY ARE TRYING TO GET YOUR INFO TO GET YOUR MONEY FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS.... !!! DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO....

A man named John called my job looking for me and said that I owe a loan.  Even though I do owe for a loan, I am paying them.  He had a very thick accent, Pakistanian I think but after I told him that I was not there, he asked me for my managers name and number and I said, Where they do that at?  I say why do you need the managers number, she is not going to pay it so we do not connect the manager for situations like this.  He kept asking where the manager was and I said, in a meeting and he wanted me to get her out of the meeting to speak with him.  I told him that is not allowed.  I called him back and another person with a thick accent answered the phone and said he did not see my paperwork.  I don't know what I am going to do to get rid of them but this is the 4th or 5th call!!!

Received a call today on my confidential line at work (tell me how they know that??) and also on my cell phone. They know the last 4 of my SS #, my mothers name, the name of where I work and everything. They are SCAMMERS!

They used to call me threatening that they were with the Law and Investigation Department for the United States. Come on...really? I caught them in a lie then. They claimed I took a cash advance out when I asked when the alleged advance was taken, I told them they were full of crap...I did not have a bank account at that time!!! Also, I notified them that The USA government would not call people for payday advances threatening jail time!!!!!!Maybe they do that in Pakistan or India, but not here. Shawn Johnson was the person that called me from there.This time it is "Jackie Williams"...Please!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Im not stupid.

They changed the name of the company that they are "allegedly" collecting for from Cashnet USA to USA Cash advance. They will stop at nothing but DO NOT GIVE INTO THEM!

They are threatening to arrest me if I do not call back. They state that I have 3 legal actions pending against my SS #...??? AND my cell phone does not have an outgoing message from myself on it. Only my #...they left all of this information on my voicemail which is illegal if you are a legitimate collection agency!!!!!

P.S. I dont owe them a dime! Never had a cash advance!

This is a scam. The Better Business Bureau has released many alerts on this scam, google "bbb.org alert phony debt collector"  Variations of this scam exist so read all the alerts to get a flavor of what they are. Spare the turkey, kill a scammer!

Received a call from "Jackie Williams." leaving voice mails saying that they will file a lawsuit and that I will go to jail if I don't call them back. Called first time busy signal, second, talk to "Jackie" with a heavy accent, told him I don't owe anybody on what they claim and asked who the company was, he continually repeated that I owe a cash advance service and it's has been 21 days. I told him I didn't know what he was talking about and asked him again who the company was, all he could say was pay up or we will send the lawsuit against you and have an attorney. I said send the lawsuit and he said "God Bless You." at the end of the conversation. Wrong way to start something you can't finish, fi you get this call from "Jackie Williams" send this to the FTC.

rec'd call ar my place of work from alex matthews from acs-kept telling me that he has my coworkers name,supervisiors name,family members,friends phone numbers but he asked me for my cell number.
i asked him for a physical address and he said he didn't have to give me that. i advised him that this was my work number and i was not supposed to get calls at work. i then disconnected the call and
he called back again. i will report this to the attorney general office and anyone else to get these scammers. this man had a very heavy foreign accent and was verbally threatening. i have a recording of the phone call on my phone..
i find it very weird that he had my work number but not my cell number which is the only personal phone i have.

A guy named Eric Lloyd called and said he was from ACS.  He said I was being sued and knew my employer, mother's name, address, and last 4 of my social security number.  I wouldn't give him any information and he kept calling and told me to "F"  off.  He had a very strong Indian accent.
