Scam artists   they want you to send money for fake criminal charges    report them to police

A woman with a strange voice are she was disqusing it call wanting me or the attorney of record to contact her. I have had this call before and a attorney told me there was nothing too it. How do I stop these people from calling me. If I knew how too block them; I would.

I had the same number call me.  He also said good luck because I also told him to F* off.  He actually got into a heated "discussion" where a lot of unprofessional words would said from him.  He also said that he knew where I lived and he would come over and take me out of my house buy my hair and beat me sop neighbors could see what a criminal I am and that my whole family is criminals and everyone is.  If any of you are trying for payday loans do not.  That is how they got my information because I have no outstanding bills in my new last name.  DO NOT give them anything.

I AM currently out of work on disability for stress, and anxiety and this number calls saying they have a warrent out for my arrest for oweing 714.00 they would not tell me who i owed the money to but said that I had to pay $300 now or the police would be at my door. I called the police department  and they confirmed its a scam. I called the number back and advised him I did not have a warrent and what kind of person does this kind of scams durring these hard times. Of course he hung up

i have received this call 4 times already and it is really beginning to annoy me because they called my job sayiong this is a criminal matter  i want to report this asap

I received 2 calls from this number (347-921-0317): The first call was on Saturday morning (3/22/13) @ 4:52AM. I answered the phone, but didn't get the person's name due to his strong accent; when I told him the time, he said he would call me back. This second time he called was 2:53AM this morning (3/25/13), & he left a message, but his accent was quite strong and I can't make out all the message except something about "your attorney of record". I called the number back and told him, "It's 2:53AM", and he hung up. I live in Hawaii which is a 6-hour time difference from where this guy is calling, and he's interrupted my sleep on both my weekend days off. Very irritating.

That same number called my uncle's phone and.left a message saying he has charges pending.against him good luck. So I called and faked like I was an attorney. The indian guy was shook up.immediately and hung up. This is def. A scam

I also got a call from this person.  He had a heavy accent and I counld not understand him.  He got mad and hung up

My husband has been receiving these calls all morning and had several of the same cryptic messages. I answered the phone the last few times they have called and I threatened atthem with a call to tathe authorities and guess what!?? He quit calling! Scam!!! Omg!

Got exact same message. Also my wife got o n her phone too. Got spurious calls from 3 different numbers yesterday. One of them appeared as belgium number.

this is a total scam they told me to wire transfer the money or load it on a green dot card what an idiot i told hime to get off his @ss and get a real fu##ing job and stop stealing money from hard working people. i told him to fuc@ off and i will call him as many times as he called me and i would tell everyone online that he is a scammer.

I just got three messages in an hour with that same message. I had trouble understanding him. He had an extremely heavy accent and identified himself as John Smith and said he needed me or my attorney to call him back immediately and that I better not disregard this message and I better call him back or have my attorney call him back or all he could do was wish me good luck???

WTH? I'm definately reporting this, and I have blocked the number from my phone, but if they call again with a different number I'm going to have to get a new phone number. This was totally unacceptable! No legitimate company would do something like this, obviously.

hey they just did this to me,and freaked me out how can we stop this they told me i had three charges being filed against me and im souposed to call some attorney and its the same number they called from this isnt fair or polite

Some india non english speaking freak tells me a law suit has been filed against me for $600 and I need to have an attorney to defend myself. Told him to go %#$% himself and he hung up. Then called right back and wanted to know if i had spoken to his head attorney and wanted to know his name.Just hung up damn t**** heads..

A man from this number called my work phone and left a message for me that was very crytpic, but said it was a "time sensitive issue and to return the call immediately or there is nothing I can do for you."  Upon returning the call, he refused to identify his company or what this was regarding.  He wanted my name and phone number.  After I questioned him he hung up on me.  I called back several times and he continued to hang up on me.  I investigated the number and found it to be fradulent.  This is unacceptable and this company needs to be investigated.

I have been receiving calls from this # for days... I have received that same message as well but in the end of the message he says "good luck".  Anyway I decide to call back and when I did that did not answer with the name of a company only "hi may I help you".. this is so weird and very strange.!!!! Definitely a SCAM

THESE ARE SCAM ARTISTS!  In the past three months, a popular lottery scam has exploded in the U.S. called the Jamaican Lottery Scam.  They mostly target seniors but can hit anyone.  They usually call from 876 but have found ways to obtain 347, 971 & 646 numbers impersonating federal agents, police officers and U.S. Marshals.  DO NOT PICK UP UNLESS YOU RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER!  CONTACT ALL LOCAL AUTHORITIES & REPORT TO PHONE COMPANY AS UNLAWFUL CALLS!

He claim to be an officer, and said if I don't call I will suffer the consequences. I'm glad I didn't return his call, I had a feeling it was definitely a scam.

This is true.  He called and left the identical message.

this person left a message on my answering machine - identifying himself as anlaw enforcement  individual  ("Officer Adams")    The message was that i could not ignore the phone call  that i or my attorney needed to call back.  failure to do so would result in EXTREME CONSEQUENCES FOR WHICH HE COULD NOT GUARANTEE THE OUTCOME. "
Obviously -   no law enforement  would make this type of threat ... implying personal safety was at risk and that I had done something wrong.  -  
PLEASE REPORT THESE CALLS TO THE FTC.   They are doing PHYSHING  AND ATTEMPTING TO GET YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

They left a message saying he was officer evans and he was calling from the crime bureau and that I needed to have my attorney on file call . and that i need not let the message go.

He's a fraud. They're all "Strange"!

I received a call from this number and was speaking to a man with a very heavy accent. He said I had 3 charges against my social security number and address and that he was investigating. I advised him I knew nothing about this and asked him what company he was with and the address of the company. He became angry and hung up on me. Not sure what this is but I did not give out any information and told him to send me anything he had for paperwork to my address. He said fine...just go to jail and hung up on me.Strange!
