Yup, I've received same call wanting to buy my item listed on craigslist. buying it site unseen and same line about address for shipping company. These people are slezebags

There is a good chance the scammer is not even in the United States.

Bogus number!  This caller responded to craigslist post  asking if item is still available.  next text stated that they could not view item themselves but would be sending their shipping company and to please give address so that they could calculate shipping charges which they would be responsible for.  I'm sure next text would be to give info to wire money - etc....  Frustrating!!

I ended up giving my address before I figured this number was bogus!!  So mad!!

Still using the same number for Craiglist Posts.  Sent me fake PayPal info and asked me to wire money.  This is a scam don't trust texts from this number.

same as most of the above posters. i am in california and i posted an item for sale on craigslist. received a message from them saying they are interested in item. when i responded to let them know it was still available, they asked for my address to give to their "shipping company" to pick up the item. i HIGHLY doubt a dresser would be worth the freight costs to NEW YORK! Absolutely a scam

We received the same text concerning an ad we posted on Craig's list.  When we asked them to call us, they text back that they couldn't at this time.

I too received a text in response to a Craigslist posting.  They claim to be interested in purchasing my item, and shipping expenses will be covered by them.  Asking for an address for shipping company to pick up item and pay for it.  I assume this is not a legitimate buyer?

Same thing, I posted on CL and they replied asking for an address for their shipping company.  I gave them a bogus address to see what happens.
