Posted a cell phone for sale on Kijiji, they contacted me with a fake email money transfer to email my brand new blackberry to Nigeria. Very dissapointed there are people like this out in the world.

Well, this time this "lady" wants her husband to have a used Canon T1i. for almost double the price that it was listed. She is a VERY generous wife...

Just tried to buy my xbox one for $900, but needed it shipped away.  It was a "gift for her husband".  I had it posted in the province I am in currently, but I haven't switched my number yet.  The person said they grew up in the town where my number from from, but moved away.  Only would pay by Paypal, and once I said they should get a family member in the area to come pick it up from me in person, dialogue shut down.

The same thing here, please don't give your numbers away. And refrain from selling to an unknown individual that wants to take advantage of our own greed trying to rush the sale of any item by bidding huge amounts of money when they can purchase the same as new locally. This guy is a scammer I know it for sure. I followed the game until he allegedly transferred funds to my PayPal account. Then I texted him that I wasn't interested in selling the item any longer. He even provides a copy of the alleged email he received from PayPal and tries to make you search for the email in your junk mail. sure there is one, but is blocked by your email provider because the address is payments_paypal@hotmail.com. You have to be kidding me, are these people getting multiplied or what?

same thing happened to me, this guy texted me about my ad on Kijiji to buy my Nexus 7 for like 100 more than my asking price, but he was telling me crap about how he recently just left the country and wanted me to ship it to this address

Trying to find out who owns this phone number.

I was selling my old Verizon phone on Craigslist for 20.00 but he offers me 500.00 for an old flip phone? Do you think anyone is stupid enough to fall for that. Obviously he does. I told him to screw off and he told me that's not nice but still tried talking me into it. I asked him if we could meet locally which is in bowling green KY but he told me he lives a couple blocks down the road from me but he's in New York in Medication school. The whole thing is weird.

I just stopped a buddy from sending money to this guy that wanted his iPhone and I walked in and my buddy said hey I'm gonna sell my phone to this guy and he began to tell me that this guy wanted him to send him money threw PayPal and I told him no its a scam.. So I looked the number up and showed him on this page how everyone was saying how he was trying to rip them off and he was glad I stepped in when I did or he would have just lost money.. He tried the same thing and wanted him to send it to his cousin in Africa .. so please anyone don't get strung in by this guy and loose your phone or whatever the person wants to buy cause its a scam..

This number texted me, wanted to buy my lap top for more than i was asking. Wanted me to ship it to his cousin's kid in Africa. I replied back that he was a jack off.

!!SCAM!!

Text, double the asking price for Macbook, PayPal,  blah, blah, the usual.  I asked them to send cash to me c/o general delivery and that was the end of the correspondence.

Lol, just got a text message from this number asking me to ship a smart phone that I am selling on craigslist to his cousin in Africa for his/her birthday.

Just received a text in reply to a Kijiji ad. This is the second time in a week I have received this text from the same number on 2 seperate ads. Obvious fraud as he wants me to use paypal and ship the item to Africa for his cousin.
