i actually received the $1000 best buy winner promo text on my gov't safelink phone from (347)939-9065. Thats ridiculous even brave enough to scam gov't property WOW!

Receive this text just now quickly did a google search and many complaints popped up.

I also received a text indicating I won a best buy gift card for $1000. It instructs to go to bestbuybfpromo.com/5/?ny and enter code 1122 by 11/30/2012

I RECIVED A TEXT MESSAGE FROM A 347 939 9065 TO GO TO BESTBUYBFPROMO.COM/5/?NY AND ENTER CODE 1122 TO CLAIM A $1000 GIFT CARD BY 11/30/2012

I got the same message from a  347-939-9065 enter code 1122 to claim $1000. best buy gift card. 'must claim by 11/30/2012

I also received a text saying "Your entry has won!"  (Funnym never entered anything) supposedly... I won $1000 gift card from Best Buy.. Says to contact bestbuybfpromo.com/5/?NY and enter code 1122 to claim.

I got this text message (too) and I was amazingly surprised and a little weirded out.

From 347-939-9065

"Your entry has won!  Go to [fake bestbuy website] and enter the code 1122 to claim your $1000 Best Buy gift card!  Must claim by 11/30/2012."

I felt weird because I didn't submit any request to be in a raffle or game or whatever at Best Buy.

Stop saying the same thing 10 other people said and just forward the message to 7726 like Alfalfa suggested. Forward the message, then you'll get a message asking for the number. That easy.
