This person texted me wanting my paypal account to "purchase" a car I have for sale. Probably someone who will steel your information and ruin your life. Don't give this person any information about you. I will call the police!

Got texts from the number about my vehicle for sale, same thing, wanted PayPal info. Seemed fishy so I googled the number and this site came up! Thanks for everyone's comments to help protect other innocent people out there like myself! Stupid scammers!!

I'm from Utah as well and got a text from this number saying they'll buy my car over pay pal. SCAM

Yeah, it's a scammer. I just got a text from that number too asking about a car I have listed for sale locally. I'm in UT. I got another one last night from LA, but I looked up a generic "paypal car buying scam" search, and the content of what the guy was texting me was textbook scam! Block that call.

her name she claims is Sarah Robinson and she wants to buy my $16,300. camper via paypal. I asked her to call me she claimed she could not due to "hearing" issues. Nobody pays for a camper without seeing it first...I told her I wanted a certified check. Have not heard from her since.
